Oct 3 01:45:44 Cadet Set Go ♥ 1 I actually really liked the game, at first the text felt kind of intrusive but once I gave it a voice in my head. Similar to Sarge from Red V. Blue, it became very funny. The lack of audio was a bit of a meh, but I understand that. I did not complete the game but I made it all the way too the green turrets before I simply couldn't move my mouse fast enough to disable them at 1 to make the path possible for my poor skills. I would say make sure that there are places to pause safely would be nice. However, with the oxygen tank not really possible. I think the timing on disabling the turrets is more then enough for the theme, but I see where your coming from. As for the oxygen tank, I don't know if I missed it but an indicator for how much time left would have been nice if you feel the need to keep it. Looks like your using unity so you might want to consider using point filter instead of bilinear on the sprite settings, to avoid the blurred edges. Regardless, really cool game, cant say I have seen many reverse tower defense games!
Oct 3 02:01:45 16m 01s It's all in a day ♥ 4 I think you shall get this a lot, but, I really liked the artwork! and the music really kept give the feeling regardless of what your doing the city moves on. Biggest issue I had was a lack of feedback when pressing a new task, obviously I knew I did it but what it did and what it was doing was not immediately obvious. So I very rapidly nearly starved started working and eating only to exhaust myself. Not sure what you can do. Maybe a different sound or something depending on what your doing. Otherwise this was quite the experience, it almost became more entertaining when I went from "ooh I wonder what this increases" too "Oh good lord I need money, wait no, now I need food AHGH I'm becoming exhausted!". Given the art its a shame that in the end, all you end up doing is looking between the buttons and the bars. Regardless really good game!
Oct 3 02:12:15 10m 30s Blade To Blade ♥ 2 I really like the concept, the art, and the melodrama. Unfortunately I'm really bad and only succeeded in getting one hit on the opponent. Im not sure if I missed something but I never figured it out. The how to play feels explanatory but I cannot see a direct correlation between the dialog and the fight when I was playing. I really like the combination you have, aesthetically, and im 90% sure the particles indicate mood but I somehow manage to get an even number of each type every time so not super useful. If you wanted to tailor to a more, ah bad, audience you could try adding an indicator on each dialog to show which they will effect. Regardless even though I did poorly I enjoyed it, really gave me those Princess Bride "You killed my father" vibes.
Oct 3 23:31:11 21h 18m By The Bullet ♥ 0 I like the whole high-knockback movement game, and the art was very interesting. For some reason the robots gave me battle bots vibes. My only complaint was the alternate movement was not a very powerful alternative to simply shooting your way in the direction you wanted. At which point I was just constantly shooting and if I happened to hit an enemy nice. I feel like I missed something, but still good game, was quite entertaining!
Oct 3 23:43:01 11m 50s Convenience Catastrophe ♥ 1 Lets just say I really like this aestatic, and I find games where you beat the hell out of food to be very funny. Im really hopping this was just a web version thing but my mouse was extremely jittery and most of the UI was cut off. I still ended up getting like 4000 score. Regardless no major things beyond that, really nice game!
Oct 3 23:54:24 11m 23s Bills to Pay ♥ 2 I really liked the game and the art and music worked well together. My only real gripe with it beyond what you can do not being obvious or some of the stuff very well indicated outside of the notes you have in your description, is that you cant move diagonally. For some reason it takes me a bit to properly adjust when I cannot move in two directions at once. Resulting in my having a hard time predicting where im gonna interact and the like. So perhaps if you want to keep the single direction at a time thing adding an indicator for whatever tool your using would be nice. Not necessary as otherwise you have a pretty cool game on your hands here. Regardless nice game, I enjoyed it!
Oct 4 00:01:49 7m 25s 10 Steps to Elysium - Sword Practice ♥ 1 I liked the whole planning aspect, even if I'm real bad at it. The only issue I can really think of would be the rotation of the cards, which I can others have commented on as well. I think the arrow you have is a good first step at solving that but perhaps instead of rotating the cards if that didn't feel great you could rotate the board, and simply keep orientation? Regardless interesting game, definitely a mind bender, could see this expanded on into a fully fleshed out short term tactics game.
Oct 4 00:06:05 4m 16s Freight Frenzy ♥ 1 Pretty cool game, reminds me of that packing mini-game in Satisfactory. Only issue is that I never really wrapped my head around the rotation but I think thats on me more then you. So regardless cool game, I could see this translating well into one of those mobile games that people can play for hours.
Oct 5 00:09:49 24h 03m Testers' wanted! ♥ 1 Cool game, puzzles were interesting, would like to see more levels and a bit more refinement.
Oct 5 00:22:38 12m 49s Ev'ry's 10 Second Adventure! ♥ 1 I really liked the whole programming movement thing. At first I thought I wasn't gonna like it but then after actually trying it, it wasn't bad. My biggest problem is that you cant like skip the tutorial text, I really only needed it for the first level, and even then I could have skipped most of it. Beyond the whole changing of tile type its pretty intuitive so good job on that! Other then that really cool game and nice puzzles.
Oct 5 01:22:25 59m 47s BUN-hop ♥ 1 Pretty fun game, I like the bunnies art style, could definitely see the levels brought out of the boxes but I like it.
Oct 5 01:29:05 6m 40s Warrior, Wizard Rogue ♥ 1 I did not get far but I really liked the music and the artwork. Only thing that I could think of tweaking would be the movement speeds and/or like a defense system. For the most part your not really fast enough to escape and attack the enemies. So the typical strategy of run away and attack doesn't really work. So perhaps for the warrior you could add a shield-bash or something to give yourself some space. For the wizard a AOE or something, then the rouge like a dash. Regardless cool concept, cool execution.
Oct 5 01:34:59 5m 54s Cold Coffee in 10… ♥ 1 Fun game, liked the art, and the second character is quite the mind bender. Im not quite certain if there is always a path without ever colliding with the stones but sometimes you just gotta take the hits. Regardless really cool game!
Oct 5 01:39:01 4m 02s Slimerush ♥ 1 I really liked the art, and the whole sword position thing was a pretty interesting way of doing the whole attack direction thing. My biggest complaint then would be how far the camera can lag behind the player. Especially considering the attack direction relative to the player is relying on that. So I think speeding up the camera would definitely remove some chunkiness. Regardless really cool game!
Oct 6 00:04:36 22h 25m PenalTen ♥ 1 I really like how unique it feels, personally not seen many rhythm games like this. Would be interesting to see additional animations for where the ball goes into the goal, but as it is now it makes it really obvious what score you got without needing to see the stars so you can go at higher speeds. Really cool game!
Oct 6 00:09:55 5m 19s Crazy Ball ♥ 4 Wow this is really polished! Had some weird bounces where it would bounce on the side of something and then bounce again and go back up. Other then that though, really good! With just slight tuning to movement speeds and such and you could totally release this!
Oct 6 00:28:48 18m 53s ULTRA INSTINCT NINJA MASTER of the Dark Forest ♥ 1 I really liked this game, the art and the music definitely created an interesting experience. Once I figured out how to actually transition the cursor around without simply returning to the center I really felt like I was preforming a sword dance, and the transitionary animations of the sword in the background were just good enough it looked like it too. Only issue I ran into was that sometimes it felt like the cursor was too sensitive. Like I would barely tap a key and it would go out to a position that would make collecting something on the other side near impossible in time. Perhaps, you could make it so that around the outside the cursor moves faster, so doing loops with the sword be faster then going out in one direction and then going back. Regardless, really cool game!
Oct 6 00:36:09 7m 21s Cursed world of Hex ♥ 1 I really liked this game, the art and the whole world was really cool. Other then adding additional enemies or effects which would come given more time, my only suggestion would be to add some way of escaping damage like a dash. If you didn't want to do it that way you could add some healing option instead, maybe a vampire card or something. Regardless, really great game!
Oct 7 02:19:06 25h 42m Stellar Sauce ♥ 1 I really liked this game, could totally see a bunch more levels being made. My only critique is that the gun doesn't flip when it rotates to the left. Other then that, good fun, great audio, and some nice art!
Oct 7 02:26:14 7m 08s Sacrifice Golf ♥ 1 This game is really fun, and looks great! My only critique is that the weapons are almost a detrimental thing for me. I pick up big laser beam, I now want to kite a group of enemies into a nice bunch that I can then annihilate which makes gathering sacrifices difficult as my brain is not in gather sacrifice mode but rather DECIMATE. But im probably doing it wrong. Regardless, really nice game I enjoyed it!
Oct 7 20:51:55 18h 25m You Have 10 Seconds! ♥ 2 I like it! Simple and effective, the controls are a little floaty but otherwise are fine. I also really liked the in world text. One issue I found was that if you are in the exit doors before they open then you don't go through them. Other then that cool game!
Oct 7 21:01:45 9m 50s Line Momentum ♥ 1 I really liked this game! How it seamlessly transitioned between the rhythms as you successfully completely or failed just blew my mind. At first I thought that each dot was a separate level and as you completed the line it would change but then it reset and I was like "Huh? Err ok?" But then I heard the separate thing going along with the notes I was playing and it felt like as I succeeded more and more people were joining my band. I could totally see that as a background animation, just like fade in more and more instruments. Funnily enough I did not notice at first that the dot had gone away, it does a great job getting you into the rhythm. But then I did and bam reset. Have you tried making an easy mode where it just drops you down one? Otherwise its very hard on people who are not super great at following a rhythm (like me). Other then that though, really good game, could easily see this as one of those mobile games!
