| Apr 5 01:15:02 | Out of Fuel! | ♥ 1 | Really enjoyed it :) Smooth movement, easy controls and most importantly fun to play! I also really like the cute concept with robot rushing to get some fuel before he runs out of time. Only thing I would work on is graphics, sometimes I had to think about how to move around certain object, cause I couldnt quite tell what obstacle was in front of me but it still works in the end. It has potential :) | |
| Apr 5 01:21:02 | 6m 00s | MOTH | ♥ 1 | For half a minute I thought it was 2D game and couldnt understand controls xD I really enjoyed the graphics. Simple, fast, but really enjoyable. Fun concept. |
| Apr 5 01:30:13 | 9m 11s | Bear’s Flower | ♥ 5 | Looks like a beggining of a fun project :) I like the controls, and moving further and closer with W and S keys. The obvious things - you can see blue screen behind the painted background and you can go out of the screen and there is not much to do. I really liked the graphics though. |
| Apr 5 09:22:22 | 7h 52m | Domotichaos | ♥ 2 | 2022-04-05 (12).png I really wanted to beat the guy above xD I was close though :D Real fun game, smooth controls, nice cute graphics and funny theme. |
| Apr 5 09:49:45 | 27m 23s | Catronaut | ♥ 3 | Great audio and visuals! Fun mechanic and smooth animations. Really enjoyed it :) It was a bit too hard for me, maybe some more testing and balancing would be nice, with all the sliding and amount of oxygen it takes too many attempts to get to third oxygen tank and you have to already double jump in the air to get to certain moving platforms just to make it briefly if they are above you. If you make bad move - you immedieately are going to die after a second tank, so I would maybe make checkpoints, or test it a bit more to make it easier at the beginning? Still, very fun game overall, again, audio, visuals, animations and gameplay is all really well done :) |
| Apr 5 10:04:08 | 14m 23s | Take the exam | ♥ 4 | Really fun game, spent almost too much time in it testing out all the different bonuses and getting better at throwing books during exam :D Really fun mechanic and cool graphics. I would only give criticism to rewarding player, currently as far as I see there is no goal in the game, no ending, also bonuses are working only per one 'exam', so there is no permanent progression for the player apart from money gathered that can be only spent on more one-time bonuses. I would give some permanent skills for the player to buy perhaps - prices of bonuses dont justify what you get for buying them, if they were cheaper and permanent skills were of higher price? That game could get addicting very fast xD |
| Apr 5 10:14:48 | 10m 40s | Dating under the Comet | ♥ 2 | Really fun and inventive game, cool audio, great and clever mechanics and dont even make me start about the graphics -> everything about this game is great :) I also really love the message of it. I only got to third generation though xD I played too much into lazy partners who fell in love too easily just by recieving expensive gifts and massages. Maybe thats why that family tree didnt last for very long, all of them were smart, but lazy in the end xD |
| Apr 5 11:06:39 | 51m 51s | Gobling Game | ♥ 2 | It seems like a beggining of a fun project, although it is confusing at first. Maybe add simple tutorial, or just add instructions in game's description on itch.io and ludum dare pages? I dont know if you are suppose to get out of the main room, but I didnt manage to do so with score of 54 on a bike? Graphics are really cool though. |
| Apr 5 11:14:35 | 7m 56s | OBRUTA | ♥ 2 | I love everything about this, the graphics, mechanics, smoothness of controls, its all great! I thought at first the world was generating infinetely with that nice looking blur in the distance :D Could be a nice beggining of a larger project with chapters of perhaps fighting off some actual enemies and then in other levels trying to avoid and stop decay of the world? Just imagining what it could potentially become in the future :) The basics are here and are great - I would only add more and more diverse content from now on if you are going to work on it in the future :) Fun game and great to just look at! |
| Apr 5 11:57:50 | 43m 15s | Trex – Delay the inevitable | ♥ 2 | The moment I thought, oh, that's a wholesome ending... xD Cool experience, I enjoyed cute storytelling, althought there wasnt much to do in the game. |
| Apr 5 12:07:12 | 9m 22s | Tactical Ghosts: The Impification | ♥ 2 | Fast and fun! It is very playable and smooth which I really like, also the graphics are nice. There are too many repeats of the same pattern though. It gives nice and easy boost to your time, but becomes irritating when you expect the same easy 'two-click to win' pattern too often just then to be given out of knowhere 'beat 4 enemies on 45 degree angle' pattern during the remaining time xD I would suggest more natural progression of difficulty and tweaking the game difficulty that way to be more rewarding. Now the difficulty level is jumping all over the place, which is sometimes irritating. The game is still very fun though, dont get me wrong. I had much fun playing it :) |
| Apr 5 12:41:01 | 33m 49s | Elder Rang | ♥ 1 | Just the intro screen made me laugh way too much with intense music and more missed calls coming up xD I loved the game, indeed it is very stress inducing and funny. It is very simple concept, yet works very effectively and I assume that it works exactly how you wanted it to. Great work! Im weirdly inspired by how well this game works <3 |
| Apr 5 13:31:04 | 50m 03s | Star Keeper | ♥ 5 | This is really inspiring game and has a lot of great things. The sea ship flying in space is great already, but I was shocked when I was allowed to walk on surface of the star, then into the machinery place and pick up objects! The things I would fix -> being able to skip the first cutscene, its fun, but quite long and you cant skip it if you want to play again. Also some animations on the ship while swimming through space would have been nice, on the steering wheel especially and maybe add more manuverability to the ship? I know its all probably due to the lack of time, but its really worth polishing, it looks like the beggining of a really cool and ambitious project :) Great concept and great visuals, I really like just roaming in space in that ship! |
| Apr 5 14:05:24 | 34m 20s | 14 Days In Quarantine | ♥ 1 | I got to day 15 xD Really fun and very addicting game, I like the system. I had a bug only one time during day 4, or 5, when I had enough gold but couldnt buy specific item for that amount. Other than that it has great potential if you develop it more. I usually dont play card games like that so I dont know what to advise here specifically, but I like the growing difficulty each day and need to upgrade your equipment, it is slightly addicting :D Great work! |
| Apr 5 14:20:13 | 14m 49s | Neon Meltdown | ♥ 1 | I really liked it :D Didnt get as far with few attempts, its quite hard to keep up, if that was the goal, then it works, but the movement of enemies is sometimes hard to predict, they seem to not be consistent, they are getting sometimes faster the closer they are, I think it looks like LookAt function? Cause it would explain, why the ships dont slow down at all while trying to rotate and aim into you (they move with a bit different psychics than player - they dont slide, which makes them a bit too hard to predict). Other than that its really fun to manuveur with sliding ship, if enemies did the same it would be interesting. Graphics are simple, but enjoyable. I would try to tweak a bit difficulty in early stage, if that is 'very easy', then I fear of what is in the end of the game :D Really enjoyable game overall though, great work! |
| Apr 5 14:31:56 | 11m 43s | 9 Turns to Launch | ♥ 2 | Really fun game! :) I want more levels to beat! My only criticism is graphics - sometimes it was hard to distinguish between 'pawn' and 'horse' figures as they are both tiny soldiers, just one holding bazooka. Maybe some more expressive pose would make him more recognisable on the chess-battlefield? |
| Apr 5 14:58:01 | 26m 05s | Out of blood | ♥ 2 | Really cool game, once I got the hold of mechanics I got too cocky and got my minions killed by upcoming soldiers xD Its really enjoyable and addicting to play. I would love to see only more and more content, more monsters to summon, maybe some special ones with a cooldown? But I barely have anything to nitpick. Great work! :) |
| Apr 5 15:07:55 | 9m 54s | Bullets For Hell | ♥ 1 | Really fun game, ended up with 23 guns at once which was ridicolous xD Very well use of Unreal, I dont think many other engines could keep up well with that amount of mayhem and effects on screen :D Great work! |
| Apr 5 15:20:38 | 12m 43s | Rewind | ♥ 1 | Im not very musical person, so it was a bit hard for me, but I got it pretty quick knowing controls. Interesting game, I like it! |
| Apr 5 15:24:10 | 3m 32s | Earworm Jam | ♥ 4 | This is perfect and hilarious at the same time xD Very fun game, great work! That music is everything <3 |
| Apr 5 15:36:06 | 11m 56s | Hold The Line | ♥ 2 | Great game! I lasted 4 minutes but screwed myself in first moment by having too much fun spawning troops xD I really liked the design and concept! It could work really well with multiple levels and different waves, more enemies perhaps (more combinations)? It could do really well with just a bit more content if you develop it in the future! It is really fun game! Also love the visuals and character designs! Great work! :D |
| Apr 5 16:07:59 | 31m 53s | The Inevtiable End | ♥ 1 | Wow! It looks like you are trying to make Homeworld 3, before the original one comes out and I see you taking the lead pretty soon if you keep up with this kind of work :D Great visuals and suprisingly smooth gameplay! Great work! |
| Apr 5 16:12:58 | 4m 59s | Brian Is Burning | ♥ 2 | Isaac-like map and concept, but with fun tactical twist. I like it very much, great work! |
| Apr 5 16:22:58 | 10m 00s | Message in a Bottle | ♥ 1 | I love this concept, great looking game, simple, fun and very inspiring! Great work! :D |
| Apr 5 16:32:04 | 9m 06s | The Hero (...Always Wins) | ♥ 3 | Really fun game! Love the funny audio and visuals, gameplay is also smooth and enjoyable. I would give some animations to shooting towers, cause you can only see they deal damage by looking at players health. Also maybe more enemies / players / heroes going out at the same time but with less health to make it more interesting? Other than that its really fun. Great work! :D |
| Apr 8 20:19:41 | 75h 47m | Bubbles | ♥ 1 | Really fun game! I also couldnt find the fish that Ian missed so I also think that may be a call to put it in more suitable place :D I really enjoyed controls and graphics which were soothing as the game itself. I really liked it. I would only add some audio in the future and option to read about the fish and corals found. I dont know if there is end to this game, cause I couldnt find that one fish, but other than that there is no point other than collecting if you cant find out anything about the fishes other than their appearance, but seeing how you wrote it all in such a short time its only a suggestion from me. I had fun with this one :) Very relaxing. Great work! |
| Apr 9 13:12:18 | 16h 52m | Priestess of Larak | ♥ 1 | I really enjoyed it! It has a lot of text, but I think it's a good thing -> reminds me fondly of older paragraph based games where based on your decisions you get different story. I would only improve visuals and make more intuitive UI. Other than that its fun game! Great work! :) |
| Apr 9 13:20:16 | 7m 58s | The Great Filter | ♥ 3 | Really fun game! Better tutorial and UI design is all this game needs! Great work! :) |
| Apr 9 13:29:05 | 8m 49s | Like Rabbits | ♥ 0 | Really funny idea and great execution for the theme! Great work! :D |
| Apr 11 09:18:35 | 43h 49m | Bitboy | ♥ 1 | Very interesting game, subverting expectations in fun way! Great work :D |
| Apr 11 13:19:20 | 4h 00m | U.A.D.S - Untitled Asteroid Defence Simulator | ♥ 1 | Loved it! Although it doesnt really fit as to 'delay the inevitable' with option to actually prevent the disaster by evacuating everyone (which I did, satisfying :D) -> I would actually see this as a great beggining to a cool project. Just add more demanding timer to make it more of a challenge, now it seems like a display of mechanics without any challenge at all, but its still really satysfing to just build. Add challenge, more content and this could be really great game in the end that people will come back to! Great work! :D |
| Apr 11 13:44:41 | 25m 21s | Sorcery's End | ♥ 2 | Wow! This must have taken a lot of work! Things I love -> graphics (bugs are really cute and I like low poly designs). Mechanics - really smooth roaming around the map, I really liked it, cool idea with hexagon shape of the tiles, really liked the diversification of each wave, every one was a bit different, different pattern, different enemies. Audio -> also reminds me of old games, but it mostly just works, which is fine. Overall great game! :) My feedback -> I had to search at the start for a base and get a hang of controls before I found it. Would be nice to include 'skip' button, when you are done putting the towers up. With each wave I was done like 20-30 seconds before the next wave begun, so it would be nice to speed that process up. Also -> very important -> enemy description. At first I thought it was only my mines exploding, I didnt realise until wave 7 that purple beetles destroy my towers (also I didnt understand how they did that, towers in near proximity of them just seemed to blow up). Also I would test it more, the game seems really well balanced as a gamejam game, but other than that it still needs a lot of work - but its worth it, the game is already really addicting and reminding me of lot of good things in similiar titles. Keep up the great work! :D 2022-04-11 (18).png |
| Apr 11 13:56:59 | 12m 18s | MooshiMooshi | ♥ 1 | Really liked the game! Simple, but fun and effective! The "inevitable" was funny in the end xD As a first game its a great entry! With stretching spheres like that though colliders wont always be working like you want them too. You probably used boxes, or mesh colliders with the stretched ones? In the end I really appreciated smooth controls, fun colors and visuals in general. It was a good choice for such game, reminded me of Icy Tower xD You could easily expand it, maybe add more depended on music design to create some fun sounds - jumping to beat perhaps? Just an idea :) Great work! :D |
| Apr 11 14:08:57 | 11m 58s | You Will Die | ♥ 1 | I really liked it! Looks like a beggining to a fun game! More info would be nice, as to where lead the villagers? As of now I lead them to cracked stone gate and waited for dragon that didnt come xD But the mechanics are here, they are nice. Villagers could be a tiny bit quicker, but in general I like the mechanic with leading them, speaking to them and so on. Floor tiles are to be fixed, but the graphics are nice overall. It shows that you ran out of time on some things, but in general it looks like a start of really fun project to develop further! You have the basics set, just add quests, visuals to enemies with health bars and attacks and it could be a really fun game! As of now its all really cool, but you dont have too much to do :) Keep up the great work! :D |
| Apr 11 14:20:09 | 11m 12s | Get Served | ♥ 0 | I really liked it! Art, audio, mechanics - its all great! The only thing I would tweak is level design. Level 1 was fun, but on level 2 its still easy with only 2 'sparks' aimed directly at you, but you get to over 200 degrees and you are still not ready? Its a bit too long for this difficulty, it gets boring with too much time. Maybe add some obstacles, shorter time to be done, yet more challenging levels? You could develop it in many different ways and its clearly worth it. With right level design this could get addicting really fast :) Great work! :D |
| Apr 11 14:30:18 | 10m 09s | March of the Mega-Machines | ♥ 1 | I really love good tower defense game and you have everything, that is usually missing in them on gamejams - range of towers, selection of towers, upgrades (!), fun, yet simple neon visuals that are clear to read (which one is upgraded with which upgrade). Its all really really good! Only thing I would tweak to make it more fun -> add more diverse enemies. The ones with shields are great idea, but ones that would be easier to kill, but much quicker would also be great to diversify it more. Maybe develop it further to include different levels and not only endless one(I know its for the theme, but it would be a shame to not put more content into this game, its so well made)? Keep up the great work! :D |
| Apr 11 14:39:33 | 9m 15s | KEEP THE POWER | ♥ 1 | Wow! I really liked the message and text in the game and how being a ruthless dictator is basically 'delaying the inevitable' and I was wondering if it was just really clever and funny view of dictatorship as a subject, but also a comment of recent events and then when I read the end game text - respect! Great game! The best message out of all games Ive played during this jam, very funny, but also smart and in the end and with heart. The only thing I would fix is the speed of the upcoming reporters and police officers. I really liked and didnt expect decision making while playing - great idea to make simple game that much more interesting, than just balancing resources! Keep up the great work & stand with Ukraine! <3 |
| Apr 11 14:51:00 | 11m 27s | ZombieDefense | ♥ 1 | Great game! Love it! No matter what I do however and even with figuring out that I can move my guys in shelter and maxing out my shooting stats - I couldnt survive past the 6th night :/ I also see from comments that you could find other people, but I never managed to have that event, unfortunately. It would be great if you would develop it with ability and events to meet other groups, hire or gather more capsule humans and maybe expand your shelter in the future? That would be really dope! Love the simple aesthetics of it + audio and mechanics are phenomenal! I think its my favorite game in this jam so far and its like the 35th Ive rated so far? Great work, keep it up! :D |
| Apr 11 16:08:14 | 1h 17m | I Would Like to Thank the Academy | ♥ 2 | Very interesting and funny game! What I thought could use some improving is mostly audio. Other than that its quite enjoyable game. Great work! :) |
