Amazing models and really a great idea! Controls are so smooth and the outlines help see the ships at a distance. It gives big Stellaris vibes. Very ambitious project for a game jam but wow you really pulled it off. A bit of polish and I could see something like this taking off!

Wow! It looks like you are trying to make Homeworld 3, before the original one comes out and I see you taking the lead pretty soon if you keep up with this kind of work :D Great visuals and suprisingly smooth gameplay! Great work!

Did not have time to play this properly, and the progress seemed little bit slow even with the 3x speed (at least for a jam game, in other context the speed was fine). But the graphics are 5/5! Some sort of ambient music or at least some beep sounds for the buttons would have been nice and simple addition.
Lookss like incredible amount of work was done in just 72 hours, it is really impressive
I like the aesthetic and the gameplay, the only thing I miss is some sound but I understand how challenging it is to put so much together. :) good job!
Thanks for feedback all. @martta yes we wanted to add more sounds but ended up running out of time. In terms of duration if it is played at 3x speed a mission will take around 15 minutes or under (time includes some pauses for decisions). Currently only sounds are the ship combat to keep it somewhat lively.
Even with the 3x acceleration, the advancement and movements were a bit slow. It would be great if they added an effect to the click of the pointer to be able to better visualize the place where the ships go. The design and models are very good, a great job!
Actually entertaining game, I want to buy a full version. Lacks optimization in the late game tho
This game was a bit ambitious for 72 hours. I'm impressed you two were able to finish what you did, but the game is a bit too complex to learn and the lack of sound effects or action for 98% of the gameplay can make it somewhat boring. But I do think it could be really cool with some fine tuning.
Really well done for 72 hours but I felt that there was way too much to take in at the beginning and was confusing. Maybe next time have some sort of tutorial overlay the actual game so it's easier to tell what is what without having to bring up the tutorial.

Pretty awesome start. I would love to see an expanded version. I was a bit disappointed the planets don't actually orbit the sun. Can you not scuttle ships? I got stuck at 0CP because of too much upkeep. The camera needs to pan slower when zoomed in, it is very hard to focus on something specific.
