Apr 4 05:52:19 Death Is Real. ♥ 2 Really nice game! The puzzles were pretty clever even with just a few items. I think a little more delay before your character starts moving would be nice but that's pretty much the only criticism I have.
Apr 4 06:35:39 43m 20s Shot Clock ♥ 2 This was really fun! Gave that high score itch and it felt like I was starting to get pretty good at it.
Apr 4 23:19:07 16h 43m Ant CRISIS ♥ 1 The atmosphere is very nice, although maybe a little more light would help to navigate around. I also appreciate the use of noise for rain sounds, although it got annoying after a while(the mute button wasn't working either). Add a few more mechanics and I think this would be pretty solid!
Apr 4 23:57:17 38m 10s Caveman Bob and the Inevitable Dawn ♥ 1 Pretty fun, I think it could be clearer when the mosquitos were dead and when they were actually in range of the cave.
Apr 5 05:33:43 5h 36m Brakeless ♥ 2 This was really fun! It's unfortunate how easy it is to get stuck(one of the keys seemed impossible to get because it was right next to an invisible wall?), otherwise I would have played more to see what else there was.
Apr 5 05:50:34 16m 51s Timeless ♥ 1 Love this game! I think one of the mechanics in the later half needed to be explained better? (Not even sure if it was intended, I found it on accident) Otherwise very clever puzzles and nice art/music to go with it!
Apr 5 17:52:31 12h 01m Game User Experience Manager Simulator ♥ 1 This was really cool, would love to see an expanded version of this!
Apr 5 18:07:20 14m 49s Mow Bot ♥ 1 The speedrunner in me really loves this! Reminds me of the homebrew NES Lawnmower game.
Apr 5 18:14:14 6m 54s Hamstronaughts ♥ 1 Pretty interesting mechanic being able to drag around your spawn point. I think it needed some additional objectives or something to keep you from just camping one spot, but otherwise this is pretty solid!
Apr 5 18:50:18 36m 04s Delayed Trickshot ♥ 1 I think this is my favorite use of the theme - the delay mechanic really encourages you to play around and come up with silly solutions instead of just going directly to the goal, which was really fun! While playing I was thinking "oh a sandbox mode would be great", so it was nice to see you added one at the end too!
Apr 5 19:29:34 39m 16s Cyber Skater ♥ 1 Had fun zipping around with the grappling hook even when it was completely unnecessary :) Definitely could've used some more enemies or weapons, but it plays well and looks great!
Apr 5 20:05:58 36m 24s Shadow Rush ♥ 0 Nice concept and plays well! Probably the only time my bad driving can be a good thing.
Apr 5 20:30:05 24m 07s IRS: Infinite Record Sorter ♥ 1 Fun game, great balance of being chaotic but also feeling high-skill at the same time!
Apr 6 02:30:24 6h 00m Eye Fly ♥ 1 Loved this game! It took a while to get used to the controls and get past level 3, but after that it was really fun and felt like a satisfying/fair challenge.
Apr 6 02:50:58 20m 34s The Last Construct of Edos ♥ 1 Love the concept of the level "evolving" as you die. Seemed like the timer was way too unforgiving though, you basically need to be perfect and the platforming is too tight for that. Unfortunate because I wanted to see the rest of the game!
Apr 6 20:25:53 17h 34m Drop ♥ 1 Solid game with a really interesting "jump" mechanic!
Apr 7 05:38:12 9h 12m Dreadlife ♥ 1 Fun game! I think the movement was a little too slippery, but otherwise the controls felt good and it was a good amount of challenge. Also appreciated that there were checkpoints.
Apr 7 05:46:13 8m 01s Grieventide ♥ 2 Maybe a little too simple/easy, but I like the mechanic of visibility being tied to your health. The art/mood are really great as well!
Apr 7 06:04:36 18m 23s Light-Fingered ♥ 2 This was really fun! The movement felt pretty slick and it was fun to parkour around, only thing was the wall jump not wanting to work sometimes. The atmosphere was really great, I like how it's a "scary" game but your character is extremely agile instead of being helpless and having to hide all the time.
Apr 9 06:49:07 48h 44m Settling On Mars ♥ 3 The art style and interface are very clean and it's a cool take on a city builder. I think it just needs some balance adjustments, as the turrets are too weak to really defend anything so you don't get much of a chance to build up.
Apr 9 07:01:06 11m 59s Dinosurvivor ♥ 0 The circular movement is pretty neat, but you move so slowly there isn't much time to react to anything, and since there's no penalty for the meteors hitting the planet there's not much incentive to do anything other than dodge. Absolutely love the art style, I think this is easily one of the best looking games in the jam.
Apr 10 07:04:00 24h 02m Day of the Flame - LD 50 ♥ 1 Fun little game, it controls well and the sprites look really good! It could be stronger on the theme I think, I never really felt like there was any impending danger or anything like that. Other than that this is definitely a great starting point to expand on!
Apr 10 07:08:34 4m 34s Doomsday Run ♥ 2 Really fun and silly game, the graphics and audio fit perfectly! I think the difficulty could ramp up a little faster, and maybe have some other obstacles besides people chasing you to add some more variety, but overall I enjoyed playing it!
Apr 10 07:18:36 10m 02s 1 Man 6 Bullets ♥ 3 Really slick game, the visuals/audio are on point and the gameplay is well tuned. Only note I have is that it wasn't quite clear how the combo system worked(which seemed key to getting a really good score), and sometimes the bullets didn't follow the aim line which can feel unfair. Will probably be coming back to play this more in the future!
Apr 10 07:27:16 8m 40s Healer's Handbook ♥ 3 Love these sort of multitasking/juggling games and this one is really unique! The presentation is extremely well done and it generally plays very well(other than some minor bugs here and there). It does get somewhat repetitive after a while, I think if there were a few more active player choices(like being able to apply buffs/shields to characters), that would really take this over the top!
Apr 10 07:31:53 4m 37s Tilted Saloon ♥ 1 Normally I hate pinball, but this was actually an enjoyable take on it! I think there could be more gravity/weight as there are a couple annoying parts(like the gun) where you're stuck waiting on the ball for a long time, but otherwise this plays pretty well! Would love to see a full game of this.
Apr 10 07:39:09 7m 16s You Are A Bomb ♥ 1 This is a really well executed game! It controls great and there's a surprising bit of depth to it for how simple the mechanics are.
Apr 10 07:45:54 6m 45s GRIDLAST ♥ 2 Love card games so this was really fun to play, and the audio/visuals are great! The only thing I would maybe change is the movement system, it seemed like there wasn't much point in moving as you can't really juke enemies by running away and moving too close to them will just give them a free attack on you. Other than that the core mechanics are really solid, there is plenty of room to add more cards/enemies and make this into something really special.
Apr 10 16:44:06 8h 58m ORANGE ROLL 🍊 ♥ 1 Fun and silly game! Could be really interesting with some tighter controls and more complex maps.
Apr 10 16:57:03 12m 57s Moonshot ♥ 2 Really nice presentation with the graphics and dialogue. The rocket seemed too slow to be able to react to anything, but it sure does make you feel as helpless as the characters in the game do!
Apr 10 17:04:13 7m 10s Tin Can ♥ 1 I like the idea of a "survival farming" game! I'd say the main issue was it wasn't really clear what your immediate objectives are. You kind of just plop eggs down and things apparently interact with each other but it's not clear why you want any of these things to happen.
Apr 10 17:14:06 9m 53s Stellarium Charting ♥ 1 This is a really interesting concept, but I couldn't figure out how to get it to shoot projectiles in different directions. Could be interesting having different star patterns give you different types of weapons, and maybe black holes or something to limit where you can place your stars.
Apr 10 17:28:13 14m 07s Wicked Wilds ♥ 2 My main issue is the night-time parts drag on waaaay too long and once the projectile guys start appearing you're kinda screwed as they will just spawn camp you. Also the controls were finnicky, sometimes you'll try to place a log in the fire but it actually just ends up behind the fire instead. Would love to see some of those things fixed as otherwise I had a lot of fun exploring and figuring out how everything works!
Apr 10 17:31:57 3m 44s Akabe: New Victim ♥ 1 Pretty cool concept! I think it could use some more variety or maybe some enemies, since you can kind of just camp the top of the screen and spam click and never die.
Apr 10 17:48:23 16m 26s RING, RING !!! ♥ 1 I had a lot of fun with this! It's unfortunate that the deck eventually runs out because I wanted to see how far I could keep going. Also the hand seemed buggy at times with cards overlapping each other.
