Apr 27 08:15:34 Blue Abyss ♥ 3 As everyone before me has said, there is an impressive ammount of mechanics, although some felt somewhat janky, for example upgrading the vision and reparation didn't work. It's a shame that the how to play tab doesn't actually show anything(at least it was like that for me), but once i figured out the game's mechanics I found it quite nice and completed it.
Apr 27 09:09:20 53m 46s Deepest Sword ♥ 1 I love everything about this. The gameplay is similar to Getting Over It, but has it's own twist on it. I also really liked the fact that you can skip the previous sections once your sword gets longer. The game is very polished and challenging, and I managed to beat it in 25 minutes. The only thing that I can say something bad about (which is really a nitpick) is that I found a bug that speeds up the player idle animation when you switch windows, although it goes away once you move again. Terrific Job!
Apr 27 09:36:34 27m 14s Nuclear blaze ♥ 2 Feels very polished and the graphics are gorgeous, can't believe this was made in 48 hours. I found putting out the fires really satisfying espiecially when they were just in a straight line. I would like to see an ending in the future!
Apr 27 11:18:54 1h 42m Archlike ♥ 1 Needs more polishing, but overall the concept feels nice. I would remove the dash on the attack, since it feels kinda unecessary and it often would just put me in more danger.
Apr 27 13:54:13 2h 35m Fish'n'Ship ♥ 3 I like it. In the beggining it feels like a clicker game, where you just have to get as much gold and upgrade your stuff, but then once you are all geared up there is a nice challenge to reaching the bottom, took me a couple of tries. One thing I would like to point out is that I enocountered a bug where if move a crewmate on and off the ghost module, it stops working for the rest of the run.
Apr 27 19:44:00 5h 49m The Incredible Adventures of Oleg ♥ 3 I find the whole concept funny and cute! The main thing that I didn't like was the movement system. I would make the tile grid more visible and maybe make the player move through UI and not WASD. Other than that nice job!
Apr 27 22:12:12 2h 28m Humble Miner ♥ 2 calming little game, only the UI needs some more work
Apr 27 22:16:38 4m 26s Healer Simulator ♥ 2 Never thought that playing the role of the healer could be so much fun! The art style is cool, and I love, I mean LOVE the chat addition, very funny and unique!
Apr 29 12:24:14 38h 07m Mineshaft Muddle ♥ 1 The only thing i didn't like is that the ui was a bit confusing, other than that good job!
Apr 29 12:40:00 15m 46s Depths of Darvaza ♥ 2 The main thing I found annoying is that the movement feels a bit 'floaty'. Other than that I love the music, and the mood of the game
Apr 29 12:53:51 13m 51s Kerene ♥ 3 I wish there was more variety in the paths you can take through the destructible terrain, but other than that was quite fun
Apr 29 18:48:00 5h 54m Billy's Gone Again ♥ 2 So, I will start with the things I didn't like. First of all, I think that the lighting is too bright in some parts of the map, and so is the flamethrower, which made it hard to see what's going on on the screen (but maybe that was intentional to make the weapon a bit more riskier to use). I also would have liked a reload button, since it annoyed me that I couldn't reload my guns before a fight lol. Another thing with the reload, is that I would put the indicator above the player instead of on the mouse, since it was kinda hard to keep track of it since I was moving it around all the time. I was going to write that the randomness of the cactus enemies' projectiles made them easier to dodge, but after playing for a bit more I realised that this is actually quite the opposite, which is a plus. Other than that I really love the atmosphere of this game, I've got a thing for humoristic western games, like west of loathing which this game reminded me of. The music, visuals and SFX are on point as well. Amazing job pardners
Apr 29 19:01:16 13m 16s Ascending Dungeon ♥ 1 This is good fun. There is a good ammount of variety and I didn't encounter any bugs, it's quite polished. The only improvement I can think of would maybe to add some music and make what's going on a bit more transparent. What I mean by that is maybe add some screen shake when the player takes damage, make the sound effect louder and make the number pop up stand out more
Apr 29 19:15:38 14m 22s Gem Raiders ♥ 2 This game is quite fun and very polished. It could have used some background music though, because at first, I thought that the game had no audio at all, and then I got attacked by enemies and almost got a heart attack, so thanks for that lol
Apr 29 19:26:10 10m 32s Hell's Gift Shop ♥ 0 I liked the sound effects the most I think lol. Only thing I'd change is that when the player runs out of energy, make him unable to move for a few seconds before ending the game, because I had a couple of situations, where I flew just above an energy orb and I would have fallen into it and recovered my energy, but the game ended so that was somewhat annoying. Other than that nice job!
Apr 29 19:35:22 9m 12s Deep Wild Trip ♥ 0 Def needs some more polishing, like making damaging the enemies more prominent, or fix up the textures, because I ran into some trees that were cut in half and some missing floor textures. I would also make the view cone a bit bigger for such a large map
Apr 29 20:14:05 38m 43s Clockwork Abyss ♥ 1 I really enjoyed the game, from the audio, the mood to the gameplay. I found the upgrade system quite unique and fun to keep track of. The only thing I found somewhat annoying is that sometimes you just don't have enough time to take down the fish you're about to run into and you just feel helpless. To fix that I would maybe add a feature that when you hit a fish, it gets staggered. Other than that very fun!
May 2 08:19:30 60h 05m Manic Miner ♥ 0 One of my favourite games from this jam for sure, there is just something about it that I really like but don't know how to describe. I like that you stuck to the really minimalist art style. I tried doing that as well, but I didn't do as good a job as you did. The only thing I can nitpick is that the highscore system doesn't seem to work, at least for the html5 version of the game. Tremendous Work!
May 2 11:40:43 3h 21m Blub blub Ottersub ♥ 2 The game is alright although I would suggest some changes. Add some visual feedback when you have caught a photo of a fish, for exampe add a popup above the player. Second, i would make the zoom be slowly regulated by z, and not just shoot out to max or to min when you press it. I also found the way you have to take the photo of the moray to be quite confusing, because the only way to do it that I could think of was to do it through the wall with zoom.
May 2 11:50:54 10m 11s A Quest for Cheese ♥ 2 Made me question my existence. There is a surprising ammount of content here, so well done on that! The game could use a volume slider though, because for me the audio was too loud. I wish there was a way to manipulate the asteroids, this would allow to avoid having to just fly through a barrage of bullets or make it easier to avoid rockets. The audio was top-notch lol. Good job!
May 2 11:59:38 8m 44s Insane in the Membraine ♥ 1 I had fun! The music was pretty funny and the platforming was nice. A thing that could be changed is to make the first enemy you encounter be able to detect if he's walking on ground or not, because it looked odd when I opened the gate and the enemy was walking on the air. Good job!
May 2 12:06:39 7m 01s grem ♥ 1 I wouldn't call the game challenging but it was quite fun lol. I really liked the audio, probably my favourite part of the game. As the description said it was pretty short so that was a shame but you obviously had limited time. Overall I like it!
May 2 12:16:11 9m 32s CAVE CRAVLER ♥ 1 Was quite fun. I like that you allowed the player to choose which spell to use. Gameplay was straightforward, but as people before me have said, the pickups are confusing. Also I would have liked to get more visual feedback when i hit an enemy, for example make them flash white or knock them back when they are hit. I think the audio and visuals are nice. Good job!
May 2 12:28:51 12m 40s Lost Light ♥ 1 Very funny game, I think the music was perfect lol. The things I found annyoing is that the player moved a bit too slow and it was really hard to get into the hole that transported you to the next level if you didn't jump. Also it would be cool if there was sound for walking and jumping, would greatly add to the mood of the game. Nice entry!
May 3 21:08:17 32h 39m Null_byte ♥ 1 I found the time going down slower and slower the deeper you go a very interesting concept. I would like to see it explored more! I really liked the mood of this, the only thing that put me off was that the static was a bit too loud and too harsh for me. Nice entry!
