Loads of fun but very hard, unless I'm really bad :^)
Great music and sound effects. Game is pretty hard until i found out moving diagonaly was faster that made the game more easy :D
Very punchy and energetic. Easy to pick up and play, generally well put together, nice one!
An interesting game. At first the tactic of just kiting the enemies and shouting at their bunch works pretty well.
Then the enemies start differing in speed so kiting them all at once becomes a harder task.
And then I got overwhenmed by enemies spawning.
Could not figure what most of those items I pick up do. Except for hearts - those obviously hela you. And one of the items increases your damage output - right? After some levels the starter enemies became one-shot kills, so it must've increased.
The bombs and teleports are probably a nice feature, but I didnt use them that much. Especially the teleport. Either the enemies are everywhere and there is little point of using it. Or the enemies are bunched up, and just kiting and shooting works fine.
Still enjoyed my playtime.
I reach level 9. I didn't understand all item and/or how to spend them. Could be indicated in Help for next release. Nice game good storytelling for starting animation and game over screen.
The most fun game I've played yet the feel of progression as you make it through levels, get power ups and face new enemies works great. I also loved discovering how I should use the mechanics and what strategies I could use to do better. Overall the sense of challenge and being overwhelmed is awesome
The graphics and audio are great, help the mood and are still great after experiencing them for a while. The changing of levels works great for the mood and theme I think it would help even more if the music changed with the levels. I got myself trapped sometimes when I fled not realizing that bomb doesn't harm you.
You did a great job and I'm still trying to get to the end.

For an actual review: this is a bit too difficult for me! This had a bit of a Realm of the Mad God feel to me, including the art style. The graphics are great! The audio works, though the music felt very repetitive to me. Overall, good job!
Fun little game. A few critiques wasn't sure what the items did. The yellow stars increased that giant number 98.000345 up a few ticks...maybe make that a more understandable integer instead of a float. I'm guessing the green arrows increased my damage and not sure what other stuff did. Graphics and audio were good. Good job though...it is a good entry
Was quite fun. I like that you allowed the player to choose which spell to use. Gameplay was straightforward, but as people before me have said, the pickups are confusing. Also I would have liked to get more visual feedback when i hit an enemy, for example make them flash white or knock them back when they are hit. I think the audio and visuals are nice. Good job!
This is a tight little game! The graphics, music, controls, and mechanics are all really cohesive and fit the scope of a jam game nicely. I liked the different attacks, but Bouncy Ball seemed to be the best overall to me. much faster than the big fireball, but still able to 1-shot most enemies. I agree with some others that the very long float number on the UI is out of place. Overall, one of my favorite games :)
nice game , I like the teleportaion idea , but maybe less number of the enemies should be at first and then it increased every we go deeper.
Cool game but too hard for me. Enemies spawned randomly on top of the player. I really liked the music.

Good game, though very hard. Nice graphics and sound, too.
Some suggestions:
* Sometimes enemies seem to spawn right on top of me, that was annoying. * Controls were too compĺex for my level of coordination (which is admittedly low). I could not make good use of teleport, and hardly ever managed to use bombs. Maybe I would get used to these "commands" if I insisted more. * I think I would find the game more interesting if there were less enemies, but if they had more varied behavior. With the current enemy behavior, what I was trying on every level was to put all enemies in a cluster so that I could just walk in circles shooting them. * Those black, faster enemies in later levels were a nice (and simple) change, though they didn't really break my walk-in-circles strategy. (Oh, and when say "nice and simple change", this is a big praise! Gotta love simple solutions!) * I also understand that implementing different behaviors for a compo game tends to be challenging because of the time! * The effect of the various "power ups" left by killed enemies was not clear. I still don't know what each of them do.

Cool Game, I loved the music and the enemies. I found it quiet difficult when I first played it because you need to be really concentrated and fast with the keyboard. But in general, I found it really enjoyable.
Jesus, top 500 in the overall category! This is my first ludum dare game ever, thank you all for your kind words and awesome ratings, I just wanted to complete the compo challenge on the special occasion! :)
