Thats some good mechanic design right there!

thementalsheep 2021-04-27 03:35

Had a lot of content and was pretty interesting over all , well done !

karbirus 2021-04-27 03:38

love all the animals that were added into the game <3

blanky-and-rocket 2021-04-27 05:58

Wow this is super complex! Once I got the hang of the controls, it was really fun!

locustjin 2021-04-27 06:39

This game is quite advanced, very nice job with sucha a complex idea. Art style is very nice and sounds are good.

owinmowe 2021-04-27 06:44

@blanky-and-rocket @locustjin Yes, we did our best to make a game as deep as we could in the time. Ty both for the encouragement.

janet-lin 2021-04-27 08:00

This was super ambitious and I loved the content included! Great job everyone.

mehul 2021-04-27 08:01

Very impressive scope though wish the systems were explained more as felt like I missed a bunch. Still cool idea.

spadekhemoglobiny 2021-04-27 08:15

As everyone before me has said, there is an impressive ammount of mechanics, although some felt somewhat janky, for example upgrading the vision and reparation didn't work. It's a shame that the how to play tab doesn't actually show anything(at least it was like that for me), but once i figured out the game's mechanics I found it quite nice and completed it.

great atmosphere, the combo lovers in a dangerous spacetime with submarine was goty tier

100th-coin 2021-04-27 14:55

I wish the game over screen wasn't an immediate fade to black, I would've loved to share a screenshot of my best run! Absolutely incredible work all across the board, the visuals are nice, the ambient water noises are a good touch (as well as the pressure warning!) and I enjoyed the challenge! Great game.

nicolasjl9 2021-04-27 15:44

@100th-coin thanks for the feedback! Yeah, we know about the how to play. The time of the run is a really good idea too! We'll talk to the team and bring this ideas.

alanestudios 2021-04-27 15:56

Amazing game!

sarduc 2021-04-27 16:40

Liked the detail of the ocean full of plastic stuff. The submarine management is a pretty neat mechanic. As a person with thalassophobia this game scared the shit out of me. 10/10

lukih 2021-04-27 17:45

Nice game bros, a very interesting idea. I hope see this in Steam next year.

eugenik 2021-04-27 20:14

Good game for the small amout of time you had !!!!.

nicolasjl9 2021-04-27 20:43

@lukih thanks man! We hope to be able to update it soon!

breadstick 2021-04-28 04:05

A game with a surprising amount of depth (no pun intended)--managing the submarine can prove hectic in a good way. I was dodging mines while alarms were blazing that I was in unsafe depths... had to move my weapons guy to the pressure room to stave off disaster. I then drove towards a land mine and clicked, expecting to shoot it, but the empty missile launcher seat meant that I just crashed into the thing and died. Would sink again.

cheekibreeki 2021-04-28 04:12

Wow, incredible job! Being able to pause and manage the submarine from the inside was a very cool and fun game mechanic. I really enjoyed this, nice job to everyone on your team! +1 for the character art inside the submarine!

elsombrero 2021-04-28 04:14

Really good artistic job I'll play it and give my rate

simex 2021-04-28 04:16

I think @100th-coin said it best, incredible work all across the board. the only nit pick I have is that I would have liked better in game tutorialization, and if that the worst criticism you can give to a game jam game that's saying something about the quality level.

carraka 2021-04-28 13:32

It took me a while to realize that the reason I couldn't move the ship at all was because I hadn't put anyone in navigation!

This was a lot of content, very impressive. I only went as far down as the third level of pressure before losing from running out of oxygen, but I imagine if I replayed more I could get further since I would know the map better. It was pretty frustrating to have to start over from the beginning every time I died, and then doing the same thing as I did on the previous playthrough felt like busywork.

The navigation controls could be a bit more forgiving, such as not dropping as fast so quickly. When refilling oxygen, the oxygen bar can go up quicker so you're not waiting as long to go back to the depths again. And a clearer tutorial, like others said, would help as well!

I'm particularly impressed by the detail of watching people go to their new stations on the ship ... this is completely unnecessary for gameplay, but it's a nice touch. Hopefully it didn't come at the expense of too many other features.

nicholassoen 2021-04-28 13:35

Fun game. It reminds me of Super Mario water levels.

alina-baybulatova 2021-04-29 06:14

Woow so beautiful graphic and adorable character! I really have fun to play this game! Thank you! Great atmosphere) Good job 👍

nabo369 2021-04-29 18:16

This is a really impressive game, the amount of game mechanics in this game is insane!

trexxak 2021-04-29 19:19

Refreshing to see a micromanagement game with subs, which for some reason surprised me :D Rather complex system design for a jam game, but not to the point that it was too overwhelming.

thinh 2021-05-01 21:04

Pros: I love the complexity that was in the game given the short time span of the game jam is remarkable. I also enjoy how all the graphics were consistent in art style overall and nothing was too detailed or too minimal than the other.

Cons: The game sometimes felt a bit TOO much at time with all the mechanics, but at the same time, that can also be seen as a good thing. I see potential for some things to be polished.

Overall, the game was enjoyable and well made within the given time span!

timon 2021-05-06 13:58

It took a little while to understand what I was doing, but that complexity made it all the more rewarding when things went well. Great job!
