Apr 21 00:35:14 Courier of Fire ♥ 2 This is cool! Really well-designed puzzles—the levels do a good job of introducing all the mechanics. Platforming can be a little finicky in places, but at least you can easily restart when you mess up. Nice job!
Apr 21 00:44:47 9m 33s Rainy Day ♥ 2 It is cute! I haven’t been able to get very far, though—the fire dies before I get more than about twenty feet. I see the spotlight, but I can’t get to it. Am I missing something?
Apr 21 00:48:42 3m 55s Snail Tender ♥ 2 Ha, this is great. Simple mechanics, but the art really elevates it. Proud to say I did indeed help my snail attain love.
Apr 21 00:55:49 7m 07s Help! I'm Broken! ♥ 1 I like this! The robot designs are cute. The “figure out what’s wrong with this and where I can get the parts from” concept is solid—I would definitely play an expanded version of it. Nice work.
Apr 21 01:05:51 10m 02s Light Knight ♥ 2 Y’all, the graphics in this are absolutely outstanding—the pixel art is really well done on its own, but the post-processing and the visual effects take it to another level. Great work.
Apr 21 01:10:05 4m 14s Fridge Critters ♥ 2 The art’s well done and it feels like there’s a good simulation in here, but I can’t figure out how to play it. I got my creatures to build homes (?) out of an egg carton, then make food storage and get some of the food on another shelf, but I couldn’t really tell what was going on or whether I was actually managing to keep any of them alive.
Apr 21 19:36:36 18h 26m Wildfire ♥ 1 This is well done! The art looks great, the UI is responsive and clear, and the music is very chill. Pretty easy to get into an unwinnable situation on the larger boards, but I guess that’s life. Nice work.
Apr 22 00:43:37 5h 07m St. Hestia ♥ 2 Wow, this is super atmospheric. Great art, and the level design’s impressive as well—I couldn’t say exactly how, but I never got lost running around the forest. The creatures are a nice touch too. Oddly, the meter for my main fire went out close to the end of the game but it didn’t cause a game-over—maybe I misunderstood what the lose condition was? Regardless: nice work.
Apr 22 01:42:00 58m 23s Lumberjack ♥ 2 The lighting makes this really atmospheric, even with the minimal art style. Having a little more information about how you’re doing—your health and the fox’s—might be helpful. Overall, though, nice work!
Apr 22 01:59:47 17m 47s A Bzon Warehouse ♥ 1 This is brilliant. It’s challenging, engaging gameplay that also does a great job of getting its message across. Fantastic work.
Apr 23 00:19:22 22h 19m Bloodline ♥ 1 Wow, this is a super inventive mechanic. I am very bad at it, but if I were better at puzzle games I could sink a lot of time into playing this. Nice work!
Apr 23 04:05:53 3h 46m Crystal Goblin Storm ♥ 2 I love the art style. Looks fantastic. The shooting gameplay works well; the AI’s not too smart, but it’s a good challenge once they start swarming you. The explosive-barrel ones are a fun addition. Great work!
Apr 23 04:13:12 7m 19s Tutu Tussle ♥ 1 This is really charming. Clever interpretation of the theme. I like the animation style—it looks simple at first glance but there’s a lot of cool details in e.g. the way the nutcrackers land. Good music too, though for some reason it didn’t start until the first time I lost? Anyway: nice job!
Apr 23 04:31:39 18m 27s MACHINA ♥ 1 Wow, this is so, so slick. I’m not much good at turn-based strategy games but the style and polish of this one really pulled me in. Clever writing too. Fantastic work.
Apr 24 00:36:17 20h 04m Last journey in the sand ♥ 1 This is ambitious—I wasn’t able to get far in it, but as Kent said, there’s definitely the beginnings of a fun game here. The voxel art’s well done. Nice work.
Apr 24 00:38:17 2m 00s Boggle Battle ♥ 0 I was excited to play this—I love word games—but yep, server times out for me too. Please comment if you end up getting it working again; seems like potentially a lot of fun.
Apr 24 00:44:34 6m 17s PLANET◯ ♥ 1 This is cute! Lots of fun too. I was a little confused about the upgrade paths—I think I turned some of my turrets into cities (?) which then stopped shooting at anything. Some text instead of tiny icons would probably help. Still really enjoyed it though; great work!
Apr 24 01:18:13 33m 39s Hatch The Plat ♥ 2 I love the art in this! The platypus is absolutely adorable, and the level tiles are nicely done too. I’d like to have seen a little more novelty to the platforming, but it works well. Nice job!
Apr 24 01:27:54 9m 41s Unseen Forever ♥ 1 This is super atmospheric—I think y’all nailed that. Love the palette and the painterly artwork. Took me a while to figure out what to do; some kind of feedback/hint that you’re supposed to hit Space on the obstacles might help. Overall, nice work!
Apr 24 01:51:28 23m 34s Entitled Kaiju Game ♥ 0 This is charming! Super fun idea, and I love the design / artwork—the details in the news chyron are a nice touch. I did have a trouble aiming when I was holding a building; a crosshair, or even better a visible preview of the trajectory, would have helped a lot. Still, though, great work!
Apr 24 04:28:40 2h 37m Daisy Danger ♥ 0 The difficulty does definitely ramp up super quickly. The art’s cute, and I’m always impressed to see projects made on these virtual consoles. Nice work!
Apr 26 18:57:24 62h 28m Elevator Orator ♥ 1 This is brilliant. Unique interpretation of the theme, straightforward but tough gameplay, and the music / sound sets the atmosphere perfectly. Outstanding work.
Apr 26 19:12:19 14m 55s Triage ♥ 2 This is so well done. Really charming and whimsical, despite the grim subject matter. Love the sound effects. Great job!
Apr 28 01:27:40 30h 15m SIPHON ♥ 1 Wow, this is fantastic! Tight, elegant gameplay and a unique, well-executed visual style. I love the volumetric-looking lighting and the paint-splatter-y particle effects. I appreciated how many checkpoints there were since I died to my own stupid mistakes a lot :) I did get lost occasionally—it could have used some indication of where the end of a level was—and the AI could probably use some better collision avoidance, as they spent a lot of time trying to get to me from the other side of walls. This is a compo game, though, and I’m well aware how much there is to do in those 48 hours. Absolutely outstanding work.
Apr 28 01:40:03 12m 23s Fish in Peril ♥ 1 This is adorable and surprisingly polished. It’s pretty frantic—a gradual ramp-up in the speed and number of cats would be nice—but that makes sense for an arcade game. Great work!
Apr 28 01:56:51 16m 48s Soulectron ♥ 1 Delightful concept. I couldn’t be sure because I’m not any kind of physicist, but I got the impression the physics are pretty accurate? Minus the… soul… bit? I did hit some of the UI issues other folks brought up—the main one being the left edge of the screen being covered by part of the circle—but it didn’t make it unplayable or anything. Didn’t understand why I got pushed down at apparently random intervals, but I assume I missed something. Overall: nice work!
Apr 30 02:16:35 48h 19m MicroVore ♥ 1 Super ambitious idea—this is a great use of the VFX Graph tools. It was a little hard to figure out what the goal was; I fed a few light ball things to the tree, but I couldn’t really tell if that was doing anything. Lots of fun to just watch it all in motion, though; if there were a version that played itself I’d want to use it as a screensaver. Nice work!
Apr 30 02:20:13 3m 38s FEED ♥ 1 Ha, this is great! Short, sweet, and incredibly polished. The animated instruction text is a nice touch. I’d play many more levels of this.
