Dec 17 18:36:00 Meth Horse Loved how the gameplay mechanics are based on how seahorses give birth plus how you've actually combined it with an absurd but hilarious backstory. Also I like how well the risk/reward mechanics are balanced (more illegitimate kids = more money but harder to avoid)
Dec 17 19:06:00 30m 00s One Tough Room Interesting concept but definitely feels very rough. It's really hard to tell how well the audience is engaged with your show (Also background audio noise: I'm surprised there are no instances of laughter or booing for a game like this D:). It's a pretty interesting take on the theme though.
Dec 17 22:45:00 3h 39m Danger: Mondays Surprisingly harder than it looks (probably because of the random lag spikes I get sometimes) but it's a fun game and an absolutely hilarious take on the theme. Also whoever is throwing stones at the toilet is a complete ******** :V
Dec 18 00:57:00 2h 12m You're tearing me apart I wish I could play this in VR. Pretty short but very well crafted and fun to play and also best use of the theme ever :V
Dec 20 01:19:00 48h 22m LocusLudi Obviously rough in places but I do like the idea of multiple minigames in one single room.
Dec 20 01:32:00 13m 00s Oni 'Room Your site seems to be down at the moment so I'm unable to give your game a try :/
Dec 20 16:20:00 14h 48m Super Battle Cycle Loved the GameBoy style graphics and the grapple hook mechanics were really interesting to play with.
Dec 21 17:10:00 24h 50m XMAS Blaster Pretty fun and interesting arena shooter. The camera angle could be a lot higher though. Most of the time the view just seems obstructed.
Dec 21 23:58:00 6h 48m You Have Till 8 Puzzles were pretty difficult but the level design was well done.
Dec 22 02:01:00 2h 03m Correct Color Really nice use of the theme and I like how the story builds up after each experiment and what you eventually end up becoming. Only gripe so far is that the subtitle text was pretty small and unreadable at times.
Dec 22 17:37:00 15h 36m Little Room of Horrors Could do with some sound but I do like the idea of the room being somewhat alive and shrinking around you unless you feed it blood.
Dec 24 16:50:00 47h 13m The Living Room Battlescape Could do with some sound but I loved the pixelated art style as well as the level design.
Dec 24 17:19:00 29m 00s Toy Robot : The Room Defender It was pretty hard to aim my shots without a reticle of some sort but I did like how you could earn more points based on how far I made the shot.
Dec 24 18:58:00 1h 39m Hikikomori A bit buggy in places but 10/10 I love how this actually reflects real life :'D
Dec 25 00:06:00 5h 08m The Dash Club Pretty fun concept and really enjoyable to play and I loved how the tiles light up in time to the music (Dashing seems a bit slow though).
Dec 25 01:39:00 1h 33m sit down Think I ran into some bugs where some of the students flew out of bounds preventing me from completing a level but it's a pretty interesting take on a herding game plus I find it amusing how you can whack the students about like a hockey puck.
Dec 25 01:44:00 5m 00s Exit The Room Update 1.1 I wish I can give this 11/5 for humour :'D
Dec 25 01:52:00 8m 00s Conștiență The gameplay concept was a bit confusing at first but the storytelling was top notch plus I loved how the audio contributes to the overall atmosphere (Also I was totally not prepared for that ending).
Dec 25 01:58:00 6m 00s Networking™ Pretty interesting and funny take on the theme. It's so fun being an awkward potato :'D
Dec 25 02:10:00 12m 00s Obelisk I like the art style and the grapple hook mechanics were pretty cool plus I loved how the lights on the rune represent your health.
Dec 25 16:28:00 14h 18m DarkLight It was pretty confusing working out what I was actually meant to do in this game (before eventually realising it's to simply get to the white light) but nonetheless it's a rather interesting entry. Like others have said, the ambient lighting is pretty dark and at times it sort of hinders rather than helps the game (Also, maybe some sort of narrative might help in explaining the game's story better).
Dec 26 16:19:00 23h 51m RoomOne Having to restart all the way back from the beginning after you mistime a jump and fall to your death is pretty annoying but this is a really solid puzzle platformer you have there but I love the aesthetic you have going there.
Dec 26 19:25:00 3h 06m Chrome Room Managed to get up to level 15 but I like the mechanics a lot and the level design fits the theme very well.
Dec 26 21:57:00 2h 32m RAINWATER (is free) The HTML5 version lags quite a bit but I like the mechanics a lot and it's a pretty good interpretation of the theme. As a suggestion I'd say maybe slow down the player's walk speed a bit as I found a bit too fast and often missing raindrops and also maybe have the falling debris do something as well like maybe knock you out temporarily for a few seconds and lose a couple drops of water in your bucket when you get hit by them.
Dec 27 02:19:00 4h 22m One room, one life Concept is very interesting but the game was pretty difficult (especially in terms of the limited amount of time to complete each "puzzle") and sometimes confusing (especially with the nuclear reactor minigame) since you're just placed straight into the action with no explanation. With that being said though, this definitely looks like something I would play on a HTC Vive.
Dec 27 16:38:00 14h 19m Hamsterical Nuts The shooting animation was very cute but the actual shooting itself was very slow.
Dec 27 17:10:00 32m 00s 4/4 Room Pretty solid take on a roguelike game plus I absolutely loved the map card mechanic.
Dec 27 17:20:00 10m 00s SpaceBeaver Pretty solid entry and I like how the player has access to a lot of different weapons and abilities (which however is a bit of an overall). I think the game art should be drawn a bit bigger as a lot of the time I found the player character to be very tiny.
Dec 27 17:34:00 14m 00s Childroom The lava level was surprisingly hard as nails but other than that it's an ok entry and congrats on finishing your first game (Also like the others I can't exactly rate you on Audio since it appears that you've taken sounds from Super Mario World/Yoshi's Island).
Dec 27 17:49:00 15m 00s Concierge Like the others have said, the game takes a lot of trial and error to actually win but I liked the mechanics a lot and it's an excellent take on the theme plus I found the overall game pretty funny as well (Only thing that's missing is a fast forward button as sometimes the animations take too long to play out).
Dec 28 00:21:00 6h 32m Room One Pretty interesting concept although I found the text very unreadable because of the font you were using. One suggestion I would make is to add some sort of highlight border when you hover each upgradable items so you can tell where you're clicking (Also I think the win condition is a bit bugged as I somehow got fired after getting a really good reputation for the hotel along with a nice big profit).
Dec 28 02:51:00 2h 30m Rudum Bare 5/5 on humour purely for those meta-references and those developer stereotypes were just too real. I actually liked the whole mechanic of being in one room (ironically) and basically trying to convince people to vote for something else other than "One Room".
Dec 28 16:58:00 14h 07m Open House In terms of premise, the game is very similar to Haunt The House (although how you've interpreted the whole ghost possession mechanic is a lot different to that game). Anyway this was a pretty fun entry despite the complexity (and like others have mentioned, a way to quickly restart the current level).
Dec 28 17:15:00 17m 00s 1 biT Strike Doesn't exactly fit the theme per se but other than that it's a very well polished entry.
Dec 28 17:45:00 30m 00s Raise The Roof Had to check the Youtube gameplay video you made just to understand how to actually play the game as even the text instructions were confusing. Anyway, once I got the hang of it, it was actually pretty fun to play (although it's hard as nails) plus I loved the use of the game window getting progressively smaller. ^
Dec 28 18:39:00 54m 00s OneRoomGuild.org Ran into a strange bug where I somehow teleported behind the wall whilst holding an item (maybe some collision bound issue?) but this was pretty fun to play plus I really liked the Twitter style popups that appeared.
Dec 29 21:17:00 26h 38m Creative Space Managed to finish the project in 42 weeks. Like any real life project, the game takes a lot of time, patience and effective resource management to actually complete but I like the mechanics a lot and it fits the theme very well.
Dec 29 21:42:00 25m 00s rot The narrative had me gripped through the entire story.
Dec 29 22:07:00 25m 00s Budget Mortuary Ran into a bug where a body suddenly wasn't "draggable" but other than that it's a pretty fun game and the squishy body physics were strangely satisfying.
Dec 29 22:32:00 25m 00s Room 207 Pretty simple and interesting concept. My only gripe is that the action keys are too spread out all over the place (Maybe it might be better to have just one button for interacting with objects?).
Dec 29 23:34:00 1h 02m Sygnal It was strangely buggy when me and my friend tested it (and for some reason it kept locking our browsers up a lot) but the concept itself was pretty unique and interesting.
Dec 31 22:06:00 46h 32m Dungeon 2.0 It's probably me but I do wish the abilities could be explained better. Other than that it's a very fun arena shooter and the pixel art was very nice (The critical hit popup was very satisfying).
Dec 31 22:16:00 10m 00s hoplitelite Managed to get up to level 2 but that was a pretty fun roguelike/puzzle game.
Dec 31 22:32:00 16m 00s levelone Had a lot fun playing this on my stream. The storytelling was excellent and for "one level" there was so much to do. Also the dialogue was humorous and top notch.
Dec 31 22:44:00 12m 00s Begging and Gambling Pretty fun attempt at a "real life simulator". The main "game loop" (going to work and earning coins) is a bit slow and tedious though and I do wish you could skip the driving transition.
Dec 31 22:55:00 11m 00s Just pick a number That was a pretty tense entry. I liked the use of statistics and probabilities (especially the use of The Prisoner's Dilemma) as part of the game mechanics and having your playthroughs affect future ones is a very nice touch.
Dec 31 23:01:00 6m 00s FACE MAN Had a lot of fun experimenting with different face combinations.
Dec 31 23:09:00 8m 00s INFINIROOM This was incredibly addictive to play. The controls were simple but intuitive and the whole game mechanics were so well designed.
Jan 2 22:21:00 47h 12m Dwarfsplosion Played the original version to make things fair. Pretty cool mechanics (despite the fact that I accidentally killed myself with the rocket launcher a lot quite early) and the lighting adds quite a lot to the atmosphere. I was half expecting some stuff to collect (like coins and gems) though given the setting of the game.
Jan 2 22:35:00 14m 00s Henry Snackleworth's Weird Day Was a bit hard at first but then I managed to get the hang of it. Absolutely loved the Mega Man styled approach to the boss fights.
Jan 2 22:51:00 16m 00s Heroes of Okarine Played this by myself using my arcade stick which was conveniently plugged into my PC. It's a pretty fun co-op hack and slash game although there were a couple of issues I found like the big sunset getting in the way of some UI text and the music not starting up properly again when the level restarts.
Jan 2 23:07:00 16m 00s Hypercell Pretty fun concept although half of the time I instinctively went for the same colour when I'm not supposed to (probably because of agar.io XD). My only issue was the control scheme as I would preferred it if the cell followed the mouse cursor rather than moving to where you clicked.
Jan 2 23:25:00 18m 00s Don't Stop Me Interesting concept and I loved the setting but the difficulty was pretty brutal (You have to have quite precise with shields, the enemies were ridiculously relentless and the windows you can shoot out from were a bit small).
Jan 2 23:37:00 12m 00s Withstand Pretty hard and chaotic at times but nice take on a arena shooter game and I absolutely loved the wall switching/gravity swapping mechanic.
Jan 2 23:50:00 13m 00s Claustrophobia Pretty fun entry. I loved how the wall permanently shrinks when you get hit (adding to the "Claustrophobia" name). Also those green monsters are ridiculously annoying.
Jan 3 00:20:00 30m 00s Pixelander Could do with some sound but it was a fun entry with some really interesting puzzle design and well thought out object mechanics. As mentioned when I was playing on my stream earlier, it does kind of need an option to delete objects instead of restarting the level.
Jan 3 01:34:00 1h 14m Ludum Dare: The Game Loved how you've managed to replicate the entire experience of making a game for Ludum Dare in this entry.
Jan 3 01:52:00 18m 00s Spellbound Really good use of lighting and excellent music plus I loved how the same library changes each level.
