refused to launch on Microsoft Edge and Internet Explorer :(
Wow, nice work. Awesome idea, and from what I could tell, flawlessly executed. If you made all of this within the time limit, well done. Even if you had some of the code beforehand or whatever, the quality is still very impressive.
While this is naturally sparse in terms of what you can actually do as a player, there is so much possibility here to expand, and the nature of the game is so well implemented that I really wanted to play more.
It reminded me of recettear in a good way, and I think that there is a lot of improvement left for the "shopkeeper" category. I'd love to see more of this game in the future, with expanded content. The style was also great, and I loved the cheeky twitter like news feed, which served to give hints about the crafting as well. Awesome job.
@slimabob @mirta000 Whoops, I fixed the issue. Sorry about that, and thank you for pointing it out!
@bplane2 Thanks for the feedback. Recettear was one of our inspirations.
Very cool concept.
The crafting is a little wonky at first, but the limited recipes means you'll get it eventually. The "tweets" are helpful. The music is reminiscent of 90s RPGs (a good thing) and the guildmaster avatar *almost* looks sad and bored when the characters leave on an adventure. Nice artwork.
What excites me most about this is that the with the mechanics in place this could have a ton of content added to it to make a much larger game. More zones, more items, more crafts, (a chest to store items), more trials, etc. There could be other NPCs that come in and try to sell the Guildmaster a map or ask for help with a new zone.
Building this game in a weekend is impressive. Building a game in a weekend that could be expanded exponentially with content (not tons of new mechanics) is impressive too.
Well Done.
Perfect game!
Fun little game!
Ran into a strange bug where I somehow teleported behind the wall whilst holding an item (maybe some collision bound issue?) but this was pretty fun to play plus I really liked the Twitter style popups that appeared.
Cool game I had fun playing it. I did find it a bit hard to figure out what I was meant to do at the start.
This has a ton of potential, very impressive entry! :)
Really well polished and fun game. Great take on the theme too.
Awesome entry! Had a lot of fun. I think things were reasonably well balanced. I found only 7 recipes but I still managed to win! =D
Very interesting idea you had with the theme. It was super fun to see the our students talking about what they manage to make and all. The music is very nice, reminds me of a game I used to play called ShadowFlare. The graphics are fun and quite effective, the crafting system is nice too. Very cool entry!
REALLY nice game given the time frame
Very cool.
Had a blast.
Although, too many blue jellies :)
Awesome little game! Simple gameplay but the combinations took me a while to figure (also I should have read the total numbers of recipes, I searched too long for nothing). Totally the game I'd like too see a post-LD version. Nice work people!
I really liked the graphics and style of this game. Well done!
V good! One of the best I've played so far :)
Wow! So much content for a jam game!
I found the music got a little repetitive, but I was playing for almost 30 mins :P
Wonderful entry. I really enjoyed playing it. It took me a while to understand how assigning guild quests and equipment worked. I'd love to see this post ld with even more content.
The concept is so coool, and the twitter feed is super fun and a nice touch.
I really like the idea, now I found myself waiting a bit too much for the adventurers to gather stuffs, maybe it could be improve.
The most innovative game I've played, well done!
Unfortunately I also wasn't able to play this due to the Unity bug. Tried it on Chrome and Edge. Looking forward to trying it eventually though.
Sadly, I wasn't able to play the game because of a server error, but from what I can tell from reading the description and looking at the screenshots, I like the gameplay premise and the visual style.
