Apr 18 12:21:00 Shiftshapes Nice challenge, but on the many playthroughs I had it started way too difficult. Should probably start with shorter names first with fewer large cases, and progressively go to longer words with more randomized cases.

Nevertheless, it was kind of fun tYPinG liKe tHiS.
Apr 18 12:27:00 6m 00s Element Smash Pretty good smash bros style fighting game with rock-paper-scissors style strategy.
Had a bit of difficulty hitting my opponents though, I'd usually end up overlapping them and they would pummel me off the arena. Maybe you should add some collision that ensures that fighters cannot overlap.
Apr 18 12:30:00 3m 00s Block Shift Easy to get into, and a very moderate difficulty curve. The UI in particular looks great. This would definitely work well as a smartphone game, you should try and get some music + sfx and port it to Android and iOS.
Apr 18 12:38:00 8m 00s Legend of the Bucca I really like the aesthetics of this, has the feel of a cardboard cut out diorama. It would have been really nice to hear some celtic music and ocean waves to go along with it.

It would have been nice if there was more of a challenge with fishing, such as moving fish.
Apr 18 12:42:00 4m 00s Taymishi the shapeshifter It's definitely okay, got the basic gist of it. The face on the lamb is a bit creepy though.

Also if you die, you end up stuck underneath the floor.
Apr 18 12:48:00 6m 00s The Professional Shapeshifter This was quite relaxing, the questions are good and sum up what my usual job interviews are like (although based around shapeshifting instead). The noises the shapeshifting interviewer makes is quite amusing.

It would be cool if the interviewer could shapeshift into random things on each question, to make the process feel less repetitive.
Apr 18 12:53:00 5m 00s Everlessly Shaping Pretty good game, the polish definitely makes it worth while. The puzzles were quite clever and I definitely like the size changing mechanic.
Apr 18 12:56:00 3m 00s Space Shape Good concept, would be nice if there was a single player version where you play against AI.
Apr 18 13:01:00 5m 00s glitchfixer Bit of a challenge but a fun idea for a puzzle game. Bit difficult to win.
Apr 18 17:48:00 4h 47m Stasis Core Beautiful pixel art, incredibly smooth gameplay and really kicking music. I played using the gamepad and it took me three times to beat that boss (the second time I defeated it just as the time ran out and I died).

My only complaint is that it's a bit irritating that your aim is only limited to forward and up-diagonal, I would have liked it if you could aim directly upwards as well.

Fullscreen didn't work for me, but I think that's an issue with GameMaker.
Apr 18 18:04:00 16m 00s Pixel Pets Nice little roguelike game, great job of getting to work with only the mouse! I felt like the whole shapeshifting part of the theme felt more like evolving since you change shape when you gain levels, but it's still a very well polished game, so I cannot argue that.
Apr 18 18:33:00 29m 00s Sumo Shape Shifters I have to admit, I loved the voice acting. It's the right amount of cheese.

As for everything else, the UI is solid and the graphics are alright, but the controls are really slippery. It takes really long to turn and it's difficult to slow down.

It would be great if there was also a single player option as well.
Apr 18 18:39:00 6m 00s Cyan Very solid platformer, I'm not sure why you chose XCV for your controls instead of ZXC (which is what I'm used to, but probably not others). The form changing mechanic works well and the level really accommodates for it.

Great music and minimalist pixel art as well!
Apr 18 19:06:00 27m 00s Golden Fold Managed to get far enough to get one Golden Fold. I definitely like the origami character designs and how each form can be used. Level design looks a bit rushed though.
Great work!
Apr 18 19:09:00 3m 00s Chemscape Good text based game.
Apr 18 19:29:00 20m 00s UNDERCOVER I like the voxel graphics.
Apr 18 19:42:00 13m 00s Black Heart Great idea, although that background once you play for long enough gets really seizure educing. Would have been good if there were two buttons for changing shapes, instead of one.

Aside from that, really good use of minimalist design and a really fun and simple arcade game.
Apr 18 20:06:00 24m 00s The Void Walker Having the level mutate the further you progress is really clever. I love the graphics on the title and game over screen, although I wish it remained that consistent during gameplay.

Gameplay is also pretty solid. Great job!
Apr 18 20:24:00 18m 00s Maze Shift Having the level change on command, and in what looks like randomly designed patterns, is really clever. Plus the isometric view works really well.

I did encounter a few glitches, like the player being randomly warped to an out of bounds area with no way to return to the level, and falling through what was clearly the floor.
Apr 18 21:04:00 40m 00s Endless Runner The puzzles are really clever once you understand what to do. It's nice seeing one of these deep games once in a while.
Apr 18 21:35:00 31m 00s Shapeshift Definitely a bizarre entry, but fun as well. The graphics look pretty good and the challenge of going through the area with the rock-paper-scissors mechanic is quite entertaining. Great job!
Apr 18 21:52:00 17m 00s SUPER HEXAPONG If this was intended to be a parody of Super Hexagon, you've done a brilliant job sir. From the microsoft sam voice to the small references this was quite funny. Not only that but it makes a great variation of Pong as well.

Also quite glad you added a vs AI option, something I usually find lacking in multiplayer entries. Excellent job!
Apr 18 22:25:00 33m 00s Space Junk Great graphics and set up.
Apr 19 08:26:00 10h 01m Shape/Shift This is excellent! The shapeshifting puzzle pieces really keep you on your toes and makes it just more challenging. The shading on the pieces adds a really nice and subtle 3D effect that really adds some depth to the gameplay. I'm not sure if there is a way to prolong the game, but it'd be great if there was. Excellent job! :D
Apr 19 08:29:00 3m 00s BlobWall For what is there, this is a great puzzle game. The camera movement is done perfectly for this kind of game, moving to the right angle so you can clearly see yourself and the oncoming wall.

Would be nice if you could expand on this idea, shame I cannot rate you for any of it because I probably would have given you 3/4 stars for each category.
Apr 19 12:20:00 3h 51m Rayshifting Really bizarre visuals, but a really clever use of shaders in a game! :)
Apr 19 12:29:00 9m 00s Down the Drain Neat idea. The different forms work really well. To make the game flow a bit smoother, maybe have the ability to change forms while in a form (but still keep the original meter). That way you don't have to wait to swap from one form to another.
Apr 19 12:36:00 7m 00s The Long Night Didn't really follow the story, but the puzzle solving was really nice, and the music was quite relaxing.
Apr 19 12:40:00 4m 00s Swarm Blast Quite a challenging game, really like the idea. Clever use of theme as well. Would be nice if there was more music.
Apr 19 12:43:00 3m 00s Soko Match Nice puzzle game, really well polished! Great job!
Apr 19 12:49:00 6m 00s Sub Dragon This is surprisingly challenging, the concept is really clever and requires a lot of strategy. The graphics look exceptional as well. Great job!
Apr 19 12:56:00 7m 00s Gallery Definitely has great animation and music. Game is a bit simple but the random shapes and art style definitely look really well done.
Apr 19 13:01:00 5m 00s The Purple Banana I get the idea, although it feels a bit repetitive and slow after a while. Nice job though.
Apr 19 17:54:00 4h 53m ADAPT Love the minimalist design! Did encounter a bug where if you transform while inbetween platforms you can get stuck, unable to transform, but other than that the level designs were great and there was a nice feel to it.
Apr 19 18:15:00 21m 00s Polytopian This is a brilliant mechanic of a game, it's like Portal but third person with two-dimensions! Unfortunately there were a lot of bugs that made it annoying to play, I got stuck on ledges, fell through floors, the player was colliding into walls that were in the other world, among others.

I did manage to pull through and reach what I think in the end (the pie is not a lie). With additional polish this idea would be amazing to expand on!
Apr 19 18:19:00 4m 00s Turbo Transform This is a really nice looking game, the way the boards and pieces move in a flowing matter looks really nice. It was also really fun to play so great job!
Apr 19 20:19:00 2h 00m CYGLiDE Love the visuals in this, you did a great job at the Low-Poly graphics. Controls were a bit difficult to handle at first but flying around was great once you got the hang of it.
Apr 19 20:34:00 15m 00s Name 10 Things That Aren't... Considering that you only had 72 hours at best, I can forgive the weak parody of Tim & Eric.

To be honest, for this to work the videos have to be really well made and entertaining, and I found the tutorial segment more entertaining than the main game.

Applause for the effort though, FMV games are not as easy to pull off.
Apr 20 12:37:00 16h 03m windowframe This concept is brilliantly executed! It is both bizarre and fascinating seeing your game window move and shake so smoothly across the screen.

It reminds me a lot of an entry done back in LD31 (http://ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-31/?action=preview&uid=14496), where you had to move the screen along to progress through the platform world. I wasn't sure if you were inspired in anyway by the entry, but I'm confident in saying you improved vastly upon it by having the screen move independently so well.
Apr 20 12:46:00 9m 00s Space Dimension Great job with the 2D/3D shifting. Sadly the game wasn't performing well on my PC, plus the UI buttons and text didn't align well in window mode (so text especially were going off the right of the screen).

The music was nice but there needs to be a different sound for enemy bullets and player bullets, else it's confusing who is firing and when.
Apr 20 12:51:00 5m 00s RhythmicalCreation Nice music rythem game, unfortunately my keyboard wasn't too responsive so I couldn't get all the notes. Maybe if you could use the mouse button as an alternative input?
Apr 20 12:54:00 3m 00s Exhuman Really like the graphics and music! Very nice looking game!
Apr 20 12:58:00 4m 00s Monster Jumper I liked the art style, definitely has some humour to it. But the button combinations you have to press are really awkward since there's no reminder or hint to pull them off unless you went into the tutorial.

Also not sure why, but I couldn't hear any audio.
Apr 21 12:32:00 23h 34m CarrotCatcher I like the idea of the shapeshifting platforms, plus the additional rotation made this game unintentionally funny.
Apr 21 12:43:00 11m 00s SUBJECT 26 Nice calm game, wasn't too good with the puzzles but the butterfly mechanic was really good.
Apr 21 12:47:00 4m 00s Shape Soup Really innovative! I loved the use of music, definitely made the game feel more pleasant and encouraged progression.
Apr 21 12:52:00 5m 00s Shadow of the Red Hand I never would have thought that shadow puppets would make good visual design in a game, but you found a way!

Platforming was a bit glitchy at time (I did get stuck once on a platform) but you did an amazing job!
Apr 21 12:55:00 3m 00s The Door This was a weird experience, although the ways you find the door were really clever.
Apr 21 12:59:00 4m 00s Run Rainbow Run Very cute graphics, but the game needs to get progressively harder, either more obstacles or increase the speed.
Apr 21 18:13:00 5h 14m Shape Shifter Nice simple game, it's a lot more challenging than I initially thought. I definitely like the minimalist graphics and how smooth the gameplay is.

Also brilliant choice of music, that track was amazing and I ended up playing in rhythm the entire time. :D
Apr 21 18:44:00 31m 00s Green Knight Pretty good action platformer, the bird was difficult to fight with but could fly so there was some balance.
Apr 21 18:49:00 5m 00s Spaceshape A space sim combined with tetris, I wish I came up with that combination.

It was a bit glitchy (I could move blocks outside of the grid) but I love the concept you did and your approach to it. Great job!
Apr 21 20:25:00 1h 36m ShootShift Very challenging and very well polished. I like the strategic element of choosing when and where to move to aim and fire at your enemies. Sadly couldn't get very far.
Apr 21 21:22:00 57m 00s Shapegrammer I saw this being played on Hempuli's stream and after playing it I found it really fun! The animations look really smooth and I like how everything fits together (pun intended :P).

I'm really terrible though, I struggle after three or four goes because of the rotation. It probably would have been manageable if there were only two buttons for rotating pieces (e.g. A+D for rotating left+right) and the direction keys for the shapes.
Apr 22 20:19:00 22h 57m h3ss Nice concept, definitely looks interesting.
Apr 22 20:25:00 6m 00s Through Oneself Woah this concept is trippy. Extremely clever how you achieved that effect. Annoyingly my mouse pointer wouldn't lock to the screen so controlling the camera felt awkward, but I really enjoyed playing the first few levels!
Apr 22 21:14:00 49m 00s Glyph Morpheus Very well polished game, managed to get past 45 gates before game over. I like the monochrome artstyle as well.
Apr 22 22:00:00 46m 00s SHΔPE Best tutorial I've seen in an entry so far, direct to the point and very clear. The shape shifting works really well and I got the hang of it very quickly. Great job!
Apr 22 23:01:00 1h 01m SHAPE.SHIFT() I love a good neon art style, so kudos to you for that.

However I think the game is a bit unforgiving with getting the pieces through the holes. It feels like you need to be really precise with your position to get through. Combine that with the slow movement and it gets really difficult to get a good score.

I did manage to get far, but it took longer than it should.
Apr 22 23:23:00 22m 00s Oh What a Night You managed to create pokemon style pixel art really well!
Apr 23 23:47:00 24h 24m Ghost Bird That visual effect on the level looks really amazing, makes the game really stand out!
Apr 23 23:52:00 5m 00s 2ShiftDrift An excellent entry that combines racing with vertical shoot 'em up! Brilliant work!
Apr 25 12:31:00 36h 39m SHIFTROMINO Managed to get through the first two levels fine, last level was really challenging. Great idea for a puzzle game, and very well made.
Apr 25 12:39:00 8m 00s News Anchor Simulator I didn't realise you could skip the text typing, it really slows the game down which is really difficult since the revolution media increases faster with each day.
Apr 25 12:43:00 4m 00s Shifty's Shape Escape Nice idea, the shapeshifting works really well. Really liked it.
Apr 25 12:46:00 3m 00s Runaway Clothes Nice idea, really funny having a wizard in underwear, throwing rocks made out of ducks.
Apr 25 12:51:00 5m 00s vertex. Clever puzzle game, nice idea.
Apr 25 12:57:00 6m 00s OUROBOROS Brilliant idea, it's incredibly smooth and the slithering adds to the challenge. However there needs to be some sort of countdown period before you start, because some levels do not allow time to prepare.

There also need some require some checkpoints, since you can cheat some levels by holding a direction before it starts, having the snake go all the way round to its tail without having to go around the level.
Apr 25 13:00:00 3m 00s Geometry Ninja Really good, geometry slicing works really well.
Apr 26 12:23:00 23h 23m PowerBeat The rhythm action works really well, and I really enjoyed the music. Great work!
Apr 26 12:26:00 3m 00s Space Shift Very well polished! The mechanics have a good feel to them!
Apr 26 12:31:00 5m 00s Strata: The Shapeshifting Microworld Simple but well executed. Good job on the 2.5D level work!
Apr 26 12:37:00 6m 00s Shapewings Definitely has a Star Fox vibe going for it. Really clever way to shapeshift.

The music and sound effects were pretty loud, as I was playing with headphones on at 50% volume.
Apr 26 12:48:00 11m 00s Shape Struggle If you haven't already, maybe you shouldn't have the title logo and other text rapidly flash multiple colours, it's seizure educing. At least slow it down or use colours that blend well with each other.

Aside from that, I like the progressively harder enemies, the amount of bullets increasing and even the player movement.
Apr 26 12:56:00 8m 00s Aeroteque Love the music, some of the best original music I've heard in this LD so far.

The designs are really clever, I love how the amount of edges on each platform also acts as a timer as well.
Apr 26 12:59:00 3m 00s Breaking Fat Amazing intro, so the contrast to the gameplay made this unintentionally funny.
Apr 27 12:24:00 23h 25m Snakoban - 倉庫蛇 Brilliant idea, very challenging sort of puzzle game. I gave up at the maze level, have no way how to solve that one.
Apr 27 12:36:00 12m 00s play Very cool music visualisation, it looks very nice even with custom music. Wish there was a bit more to the gameplay though, there's no punishment for missing, no power ups or even a huge benefit for actually destroying all the blocks.
Apr 27 12:37:00 1m 00s Shapeful World Low poly foxes. :3
Apr 27 12:52:00 15m 00s Slimes Really good puzzlescript game, that last level was really challenging!
Apr 28 23:46:00 34h 54m Do Robots Dream About Yoga? Definitely one of the funniest entries I've played so far. Gets really difficult to get the poses right, especially since any body part going into the pit is an instant fail.

The robotic voice, combined with the poses and physics made this very entertaining to play through.
May 2 10:44:00 82h 58m Shifter Very clever concept, although the game works much better with the tutorial. I like the smooth transitions between shapes and the glowing as well.
May 3 12:23:00 25h 39m Shifting Paths Nice idea. I like the unpredictable nature of the levels changing, yet the game is still beatable.
May 3 12:26:00 3m 00s The Un-Named Game about Shape-Shifting Aims are simple, transformation mechanic is straightforward. Good job on the enemy AI.
May 3 12:29:00 3m 00s Hexamorphosis The graphics are pretty good. I got the hang of the controls quickly and managed to get a good score.

I think it player should be fixed to a grid however, since you need to be in very specific positions in order to get through and you can lose lives by being a few pixels off.
May 3 12:32:00 3m 00s Roterra Shift Great job with the level rotation transition, it's a very nice effect. The controls feel way too slippery and you can easily miss platforms way too easily though.
May 3 12:35:00 3m 00s Zorg's Crash Landing I like the different behaviours depending on what animal you transform into, not only ones that chase you but ones that evade you.
May 3 12:39:00 4m 00s Maze of the Silver Elements Nice looking maze!
May 3 12:51:00 12m 00s The Mind of Marlo Love the music and graphics, reminds me of the classic point 'n click games! Great job!
May 3 12:58:00 7m 00s ShmupShifter Very well polished vertical shmup! The particle effects are very smooth and colourful.

Didn't really understand the benefits of the different ship types, there weren't many scenarios I had to shoot downwards and shooting at the sides didn't have much of an effect.

But as a huge fan of shmups, this was very satisfying. :3
May 3 20:20:00 7h 22m Infinite Trip I knew that sooner or later I'd find a montage parody themed game. Pretty solid gameplay, simplistic design and pretty fun to play.
May 3 20:37:00 17m 00s Biological Warfare I love some shooters and this is a visually creative one! I love the round shape forming levels and how you can recover from being hit by grabbing the heart.

It would be really cool if the bullets can somehow impact the shape of the level, like if those parts of the walls that come out of the level could be shot to change their direction, or if shooting the wall pushes it outward.

It would also be nice if there was some music, and if the sound effects felt more biological? I mean the theme and environment revolves around molecules and germs, so it feels out of place hearing realistic guns being fired.
May 4 12:31:00 15h 54m ShapeShift Definitely like the simplistic graphics, the physics isn't bad although flicking is a bit tricky with a mouse. Might have done better with a touchscreen.
May 4 12:41:00 10m 00s The Mimic I voted on your Steam Greenlight page before realising this was a Ludum Dare entry.

I really like the concept, although I think you need to change up your keyboard controls. I'm used to WASD being used to move, so it might be good to have some other keys for transforming/jumping or shooting. Maybe even allow the mouse to shoot/aim as well would be good.

Good luck with the campaign!
May 4 12:49:00 8m 00s Reconfigure Very solid twin-stick shooter, I like the inertia and smooth feel of flying and shooting with the ship.

Really nice graphics to boot as well! Brilliant job!
May 4 19:22:00 6h 33m SLAM_SHIFT This was quite fun yet really difficult, the ship is turns really quickly so it's easy to crash into the walls. I do like how the ball has no control yet is indestructible while the ship has full control but gets destroyed from one hit, I can see speed run strategies from this kind of game!
May 5 12:45:00 17h 23m Nyamo's Adventure First time I played, I took less than two minutes and only found five items. Second time, I explored a bit more, playing for almost 15 minutes and only found 38. The amount of paths to explore and the way you travel across to find them is incredible.

You provide a lot of platform mechanics and each level has many opportunities to use all of them. My favourite is number 4, where you fly off like a deflated balloon.

The character design is adorable and the music is very lively, it was great listening to all the world tracks.
May 5 12:52:00 7m 00s Elemental Shifters Very good graphics, I really liked the use of lighting and destructible walls when you failed. Gameplay was really solid, although I would've liked a button to cycle in reverse to get to some colours a bit quicker. It's also nice to see the game adapt to your ability, slowing down if you keep failing too much. Great job!
May 8 11:24:00 70h 32m I Don't Trust This Food, Man Definitely one of the funniest entries I've played, but I don't trust the use of the theme...man.
May 9 12:36:00 25h 12m Robot Snake Really clever idea, a very good take on the Snake game.
May 9 12:40:00 4m 00s Revamp Very challenging, really like the tutorial and the simplistic pixel art style! Great work!
May 9 12:44:00 4m 00s Maelstrom Mayhem Game definitely looks nice, although it's a bit too difficult to get into. No idea why you chose to use the left mouse button to move and the right mouse button to fire, you can get the buttons mixed up easily.
