| Apr 20 14:27:00 | Padilla's Pancakes | It would appear that my daughter has been practising to be a waiter at your restaurant, at least given by the way she always throws food on the floor. <br/> <br/>Enjoyed the sound effects. Gracias Senor! | |
| Apr 20 14:30:00 | 3m 00s | Picture Gallery | The creatures were simultaneously sinister and yet somehow adorable. The Mona Lisa has let herself go! |
| Apr 20 14:34:00 | 4m 00s | Dirty Fork: Unleash the Mayhem | I am not sure what kind of restaurant you generally go to, but they seem to have a rather unconventional dress code. |
| Apr 20 14:37:00 | 3m 00s | Playground Mayhem | It seemed to crash after I'd finished in the shop. |
| Apr 20 14:44:00 | 7m 00s | Use your head | Played it all the way through. Found myself wanting more which is always a good sign. Nicely done. Enjoyed it very much. |
| Apr 20 14:47:00 | 3m 00s | Goodie Bag | Slightly tricky controls. I like how the caramels sometimes bounce off the sides of the bag. |
| Apr 20 14:50:00 | 3m 00s | Answer Questions | Hmmmm. I had to answer "yes" to all of the questions as quickly as possible. It would have been more interesting if sometimes the answer had to be "no". |
| Apr 20 16:36:00 | 1h 46m | Hold Space To Fart | Honest gov, it wasn't me, it was the game. |
| Apr 20 16:41:00 | 5m 00s | Beauty Dungeon | The web player threw a few exceptions while it was running, but it played fine nonetheless. Hairspray fumes alone would kill almost anything, but I hear that nail polish remover is perfect for anything with a functioning respiratory system. |
| Apr 20 16:44:00 | 3m 00s | Out of Bullets | Dang it, how am I going to do the dishes now that I threw the kitchen sink into the vacuum of space. Fantastic take on the theme! |
| Apr 20 16:54:00 | 10m 00s | Nerd Nightmare | Good concept. It needs a bit of tuning, because sometimes you just get an unlucky combination of numbers. |
| Apr 20 16:59:00 | 5m 00s | Circus Escape | I thought that the combination of cut-out figures and photographic backgrounds worked very well. |
| Apr 20 17:06:00 | 7m 00s | Space Cripes 2 | Nice idea. I like how everything breaks into pieces when it's hit. Fun. |
| Apr 20 17:12:00 | 6m 00s | Rainbow Tank | The only thing missing was unicorns! It plays very well and I like the presentation, particularly the effect on the title text. Definitely fun to play. Cracking tune too! |
| Apr 20 17:16:00 | 4m 00s | BOOMBOX | I myself thought the boombox was a bit on the small side. Interesting game mechanic. I think I had beginner's luck on the first play as I played all the way through and no one died of sadness, but my subsequent attempts were more like my attempts at dancing in real life, ie, not so good. |
| Apr 20 17:20:00 | 4m 00s | Celery Samurai | I knew that celery in the back of the fridge would have a use some day! The Carrot King was excellent. Enjoyed playing this. |
| Apr 20 17:27:00 | 7m 00s | Think Like a Pigeon | I am still trying to figure out what kind of animal it is. Is it a pig with wings? Nicely presented, but it is rather easy as you can just spam the "poop" button to get 3 stars on all of the levels. |
| Apr 21 19:09:00 | 25h 42m | Tsurara Donna | I had a spot of bother double-jumping so I couldn't get off the bottom level, but I managed to throw a lot of icicles. <br/> <br/>Great tune, and the graphics are spot on for the game. It has a nice aesthetic too. I liked the fact that everything was double-tap. |
| Apr 21 19:49:00 | 40m 00s | PALBOT | It was rather text heavy (if there was a way to skip through the text in the tutorial then I didn't find it) but other than that I have no complaints. It played pretty well and had a nice retro vibe going on. <br/> <br/>Congratulations on making an ambitious game and doing it justice in the limited time. |
| Apr 21 20:18:00 | 29m 00s | HELP: The Mystery of the Not-Terribly Useful Information | Damn, that was AWESOME! You have created a fully fledged original concept in 72 hours. The wife and I loved it. It was everything you could want from an interactive novel. And the ending made us laugh - I always had my suspicions about that corporation! |
| Apr 21 20:34:00 | 16m 00s | U.C.O.N. | Good take on the theme, but I think it needs a bit of balancing. I couldn't really tell the difference between the effects of the weapons. Nice idea though - it would be interesting to see where you take it. |
| Apr 21 20:39:00 | 5m 00s | Captain BearBeard | I get that I'm playing a bear, but why is he so bouncy? Is he the unholy offspring of Tigger and Pooh? <br/> <br/>Short, sweet and fun! |
| Apr 21 20:43:00 | 4m 00s | It's dangerous to go alone... | It took a while to figure out what was going on. I hadn't realized that fairies were quite so malevolent. |
| Apr 21 20:51:00 | 8m 00s | Science is a weapon | I always thought that Fry from Futurama looked a bit shifty! Seriously though, this game is hilarious, and although I could kind of see it coming, I still enjoyed the ending. Nicely done. |
| Apr 24 19:43:00 | 70h 52m | AntiCon | Love the sound effects. Just how much helium did you have to use in the making of this game? Shows it doesn't have to be highly graphical to be highly playable. |
| Apr 24 19:49:00 | 6m 00s | Last Clown Standing | I always wondered why I was scared of clowns. |
| Apr 24 19:53:00 | 4m 00s | Word War 5 | Killed when I made an errer (error). <br/> <br/>I like how your typing game requires people to look at the screen, not their fingers. <br/> <br/>I like typing games in general anyway... a very successful interpretation of the theme. |
| Apr 24 19:59:00 | 6m 00s | Gluebie | I found it a bit easy, but I think once you have time to work on the puzzles, there will definitely be something to it. I liked how you had different mechanisms to have the enemies react differently. Overall it's a nice game. |
| Apr 24 20:03:00 | 4m 00s | Make It Rain | If only I could really make it rain. <br/>I'm always happy when it rains. <br/> <br/>Don't be disheartened that you didn't finish; we have ALL been there. |
| Apr 24 20:08:00 | 5m 00s | Screwy McScrews | Very smooth motion. Loved the little "Daleks". Good to see you try to put your dad in his place (coming from a dad whose daughter beat him last time she competed). <br/> <br/>Keep up the good work. Very impressed with how well the controls worked. |
| Apr 24 20:13:00 | 5m 00s | Scary Rocks | I never thought trying to prevent meteors would be sooooo relaxing. Very polished, fully fledged, and a really fun game. |
| Apr 24 20:35:00 | 22m 00s | Miyu | A beautiful atmospheric entry. |
| Apr 24 20:39:00 | 4m 00s | Floyd the Pufferfish: Slayer of Squid | Simple idea, executed well. Loved his face when he puffed up. <br/> <br/>Sometimes you do end in a state from which you can't escape losing health. But other than that I have no complaints <br/> <br/>Plays well. |
| Apr 24 20:45:00 | 6m 00s | Disaster Theatre | It looked fantastic, but it was really tricky to play. Perhaps as others have commented, improving the feedback to the player would make it easier to understand when the player has done something right or wrong. |
| Apr 24 20:48:00 | 3m 00s | Ding Dang Doom | I really liked the image of the old lady fighting with her deadly triangle. <br/> <br/>It was funny and had a good interface. Good fun. |
| Apr 24 20:50:00 | 2m 00s | The unconventional weapon trader | Where was this when I was hunting for ideas? |
| Apr 24 21:09:00 | 19m 00s | The Great Debate | Very original, very re-playable. +1 for Monkey Island references. I liked how I had to use my brain to play it. |
| Apr 25 10:51:00 | 13h 42m | rm | It's as frustrating as it was in the old days. It is just like the real thing. I got as far as the bank, had nothing in my inventory, and suddenly realized that unlike the old days, I couldn't go asking my mates for advice. <br/> <br/>The writing is very good. I just wish I could have progressed further. |
| Apr 25 10:57:00 | 6m 00s | Cheeseburger (in Paradise) | No idea why it isn't working for me, but it plays a tune and stops. It keeps crashing my browser (firefox). |
| Apr 25 11:02:00 | 5m 00s | Overward | I wish there was more guidance as to how effective different deployments are. |
| Apr 25 11:13:00 | 11m 00s | Spudcannon | I really wanted to get a chance to use the spudcannon. |
| Apr 25 11:18:00 | 5m 00s | Kids These Days | I feel sorry for the teachers at this school. Having said that, most teachers are younger than me, so they don't know what school was REALLY like. <br/> <br/>Humorous entry. Enjoyed it. |
| Apr 25 11:24:00 | 6m 00s | Bean Dip Duel | A little easy to play, but still, it's amusing! |
| Apr 25 11:27:00 | 3m 00s | Butterfly Effect | Very amusing. Enjoyed it immensely. However, I am not convinced that my actions really had consequences! |
| Apr 25 13:29:00 | 2h 02m | HOW TO DESTROY AN ISLAND | I like where it could go, but it isn't there yet. It would be nice if there was a destruction tree or limited resources for destruction. <br/> <br/>I think of you developing it into the opposite of sim city. |
| Apr 25 13:37:00 | 8m 00s | Classroom madness | Visually stunning, I wish it had sound to complement that. You paid good attention to detail - I liked the flickering strip light, and the screen shake, as everything came flying back onto the screen, was spot on. |
| Apr 25 13:41:00 | 4m 00s | Flatulent Bovine | It would make an excellent "how to use a mouse" game for kids. I liked the zombie cows. |
| Apr 25 13:46:00 | 5m 00s | Legend of the Barber | Simple to play, but a bit text heavy. If you'd had some sprites and animation then that would have hugely added to the enjoyment. |
| Apr 25 13:50:00 | 4m 00s | Mutated Software and Company | My only complaint would be that judging by this game, Canadians have no tolerance for alcohol. Nicely done though - I liked the effects as you got colder. |
| Apr 25 13:55:00 | 5m 00s | Ninja With A Teddy Bear | I know from experience that no one gets between a little girl and her teddy bear! Nicely done - fun game. |
| Apr 25 14:02:00 | 7m 00s | Combine Carnage | I feel like I'm back in Wiltshire. I enjoyed that, but my laptop did rather struggle to maintain anything like a decent frame rate. Funny, and very amusing, and playable despite the lag (probably my laptop, not the game). <br/> <br/>"I've got a brand new combine harvester..." |
| Apr 25 14:06:00 | 4m 00s | Sal and Papa | Loved the graphics, and the pixel art details in the background were just awesome. It could be expanded by having a list of foods that you had to season to fulfil orders. Very cute game. |
| Apr 25 14:16:00 | 10m 00s | Crushing Doubt | Interesting use of Lemmings style mechanics. The little followers were quite cute. |
| Apr 25 14:23:00 | 7m 00s | 5 Days with Tiffany | Found a little bug in that the spawn point for one of the teachers was the place that I happened to be standing as a level started, trapping me between the teacher and the edge of the game. <br/> <br/>That aside, it was fun to play, with amusing animations and sound effects. It reminds me of some of the Wii games that you get in Wario Ware. |
| Apr 26 16:40:00 | 26h 17m | Deserializer | This was really good. A very innovative concept and it has that "one more go" factor. My only criticism is that the code itself could be a bit closer to the action to bring it slightly closer to the field of vision. |
| Apr 26 16:47:00 | 7m 00s | Game Over [MY DEAD BODY] | This is a good idea with a solid implementation. I like it. It's challenging without being unfair. <br/> <br/>Very pleased with myself for having won! |
| Apr 26 16:54:00 | 7m 00s | Quiet Riot | The game itself is fun in its own right, but what really makes it for me is the tv effect. It has some nice touches (loved the dot-crawl around the title) and adds a ton of atmosphere to the game. |
| Apr 26 16:58:00 | 4m 00s | A Nunexpected Weapon | I was able to get quite a long way just by keeping X held down. When I tried to be a bit more discerning then I died - a lot! Good first LD - hope to see what you do next time. |
| Apr 26 17:23:00 | 25m 00s | Une arme peu conventionelle | It had a bit of an art film feel to it. The software you used looked cool and I like the gratuitous use of Lincoln. I did half want the girlfriend to end up being Darth Vader though. |
| Apr 26 17:29:00 | 6m 00s | Clashy Clouds | Very cute presentation and a good take on the theme. |
| Apr 26 17:33:00 | 4m 00s | Unconventional George | More laughs than a barrel full of monkeys. A fun game, and I like to see how you played the Green card by deploying a biodegradable weapon. One of the better games that I've seen. |
| Apr 26 17:43:00 | 10m 00s | Billy McMath Solves Problems | Is it wrong that I kind of wanted the ending going the other way with all of the hearts breaking? An excellent game - made me laugh a lot! My wife thinks the bully looks a lot like Iggy Pop. Highly enjoyable. |
| Apr 26 17:48:00 | 5m 00s | Serial Mother | I can't help to think you need to do a level where mum tries to visit the bathroom in peace. |
| Apr 26 17:56:00 | 8m 00s | Pebble's Bakery | Love the Easter-Egg. It was more fun getting the money off the patrons that way. Fantastic pixel art, great expressions and animations. A very good, enjoyable entry. |
