| Aug 27 19:36:00 | Evolution Stew | oh no, us poor german devs with qwertz keyboard layout :(. it took me a while to figure out because with only x and c i couldn't do anything :/ | |
| Aug 27 19:45:00 | 9m 00s | Survival Of The Tastiest | the game looks nice but i have no idea what i'm doing :/. also, using a black background in your 'cheapo web version' with black labels is very confusing |
| Aug 27 19:53:00 | 8m 00s | Simplex Evolution Tabulae Ludus | i like it! but if you play carefully and block the enemy all the time instead of going for the win, you get into a stalemate (filling each field) and then nothing happens anymore. maybe something like 'GAME DRAW' would have been nce |
| Aug 27 20:01:00 | 8m 00s | Octogeddon | loved it! also, the music was awesome! what did you use for it? btw i lost an evolution of a leg when i evolved it to snake and in the same step clicked 'current'(50). is that a bug or intended? |
| Aug 27 20:19:00 | 18m 00s | TOWER OFFENSE | too much text in the intro :P |
| Aug 28 11:12:00 | 14h 53m | ProtoZoo | hm. can't get it to run on firefox (web version), chrome did it. then i could play for like 10seconds, firing wqild and then the game got stuck? animations got very chunky |
| Aug 28 15:41:00 | 4h 29m | SUPER Levolution | Love the sound 'meow meow' |
| Aug 28 16:17:00 | 36m 00s | The Darwinci Code - Adaption FTW! | gotta agree with marudziik, at first i didn't know what to do, then i found the concept very interesting |
| Aug 28 16:23:00 | 6m 00s | OMG, GMOS! | omg i created a cow with a thousand legs or something |
| Aug 28 16:26:00 | 3m 00s | SIX | Like, whaaaaaaat? i also like the music, aside from my freakish hands with 9 fingers... |
| Aug 28 16:33:00 | 7m 00s | Lepton's Quest | whoa, 67MB? If I had a slow connection, I'd be cursing like mad. also, the game was very short, unfortunately. but bonus points for music, graphics and mood |
| Aug 28 16:37:00 | 4m 00s | Richard Dawkins' Magnificent Microcosm of Mechanically Mutational Evolution! | instead of number keys you could have used spots marked with 'continue' because, at first i played, after that i read the description (because tl;dr) |
| Aug 28 16:39:00 | 2m 00s | The Cycle | on a side note: you should make such huge games. this is already the third game i see with over 100MB to download. luckily i have a fast internet connection, but if i hadn't, i would not be able to play :P |
| Aug 28 16:45:00 | 6m 00s | Robot Panic | i don't get what the second update is doing :? the white bar |
| Aug 28 16:51:00 | 6m 00s | TreeVolve | beautiful entry, but i couldn't close the game, i had to force_quit it |
| Aug 28 17:07:00 | 16m 00s | Maze Evolution | very short game. as a note, it would have been nicer with smoother animation (holding key down and such) |
| Aug 28 17:12:00 | 5m 00s | Garbage Man: Return to Earth [HD] | i love the graphics, but i lost two times because i threw away the boost thingy. twice! ragahhhhhhh :D |
| Aug 28 18:39:00 | 1h 27m | Darbot Saves Science | as ghoulblade says "this game is waiting approval". you should take the link out as long as it isn't available :/ |
| Aug 28 20:52:00 | 2h 13m | Evolution | very nice concept, but a 'a reached the perfect state'-screen or sth when you win would have been nice ;). it just restarted the game on me |
| Aug 28 21:13:00 | 21m 00s | Winding of Isaac | no android :( |
| Aug 29 10:59:00 | 13h 46m | Evoland | at first i felt like getting sick from the choppy movement, but after that, it was nice. with the free movement upgrade, it was very pleasent |
| Aug 29 11:05:00 | 6m 00s | Peanuts! | yep, white screen :/. i like the idea and concept though. but with such a resolution, you can't really see the peanus graphics. if this should ever become a bigger game, don't let the effort made for the small peanus (peanusses?) go to waste |
| Aug 29 11:17:00 | 12m 00s | The Legend of Elzad | I'm really happy that you added a timelapse! Your graphics are awesome, and I always wondered how you did that. Watching the timelapse allows others to learn, and it actually feels like you raised the bar for graphics again ;) |
| Aug 29 11:28:00 | 11m 00s | LimiT | what? you hate hate hate hate programming? then you should consider making a jam entry next time with someone who loves lvoes loves loves programming ;) |
| Aug 29 16:48:00 | 5h 20m | Tokemon! VI : Struggle for eternity | it seemed like i always missed. also, the texts were very small and hard to read |
| Aug 29 16:50:00 | 2m 00s | Bioboy | hm. doesn't start for me, I get an error 0xc000007b |
| Aug 29 17:07:00 | 17m 00s | Promotion Chess (multiplayer) | I don't know if this is your first LD, but let me give you a few hints. Everyone has to start at some point. So: <br/>You shouldn't make such a complex game if you knew beforehand that the time is limited. Something like chess IS complicated, and definitely like hardcore impossible to write a decent computer playre for that. <br/>Next, I don't know where your focus was, but at least you should have added your complex patterns and rules into the game! Like when you click a pawn, it says 'Promote to star thingie' or highlight the fields it can move to <br/>Third hint: You should start to have a look at the other games. Not only will your own game get more ratings, the more games you play and rate, you will also learn a lot. LudumDare is community-driven, so if you want everyone to play your game, do the same and play the games of others. Luckily, there are still over 19 days left ;) |
| Aug 29 17:08:00 | 1m 00s | Kitten Farts | I don't like killing cats :< |
| Aug 30 10:40:00 | 17h 32m | Universal Adaptors! | jumping was a bit strange, and at the very beginning, i didn't even know where or what i was. maybe would have helped to have clearer graphics (like big red). also the enemies where really very linear. it would have been nice if the sharks would have followed you or sth, like the fishing minigame from zelda-link's awakening. and music would have been nice ;) |
| Aug 30 10:47:00 | 7m 00s | Keepers of The Harmony | crashed on snow leopard too: <br/> <br/>Identifier: com.whackylabs.Evolution <br/>Version: ??? (???) <br/>Code Type: X86-64 (Native) <br/>Parent Process: launchd [143] <br/> <br/>Date/Time: 2012-08-30 12:45:20.204 +0200 <br/>OS Version: Mac OS X 10.6.8 (10K549) <br/>Report Version: 6 <br/> <br/>Interval Since Last Report: 8250789 sec <br/>Crashes Since Last Report: 12 <br/>Per-App Crashes Since Last Report: 4 <br/>Anonymous UUID: <-removed this-> <br/> <br/>Exception Type: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (SIGSEGV) <br/>Exception Codes: KERN_INVALID_ADDRESS at 0xfffffffffffffff8 <br/>Crashed Thread: Unknown <br/> <br/>Backtrace not available <br/> <br/>Unknown thread crashed with X86 Thread State (64-bit): <br/> rax: 0x0000000000000055 rbx: 0x0000000000000000 rcx: 0x0000000000000000 rdx: 0x0000000000000000 <br/> rdi: 0x0000000000000000 rsi: 0x0000000000000000 rbp: 0x0000000000000000 rsp: 0x0000000000000000 <br/> r8: 0x0000000000000000 r9: 0x0000000000000000 r10: 0x0000000000000000 r11: 0x0000000000000000 <br/> r12: 0x0000000000000000 r13: 0x0000000000000000 r14: 0x0000000000000000 r15: 0x0000000000000000 <br/> rip: 0x00007fff5fc01028 rfl: 0x0000000000010203 cr2: 0xfffffffffffffff8 <br/> <br/>Binary images description not available |
| Aug 30 11:01:00 | 14m 00s | Get Your Cell Together | very nice entry! |
| Aug 31 16:43:00 | 29h 42m | The Destiny of Species | nice graphics, but sounds would have been nice. also, it's very annoying taht the movements are so fast and that you have to start again from the beginning everytime you die |
| Sep 4 16:42:00 | 95h 59m | Ninjural Selection | love it, especially the quake effect with the charged shot and the particle effects. it's even more fun to smash your enemies and create new eggs isntead of just killing them |
| Sep 4 16:53:00 | 11m 00s | Slime Groove | i'd say, too much text in the intro. also, why can't i walk and shoot at the same time :< ? |
| Sep 4 16:55:00 | 2m 00s | R/evolution | there was a similar game in the last LD, where you could even run around (as planets were used) to gain speed to jump |
| Sep 4 16:57:00 | 2m 00s | Ludum Card Evolution | bonus points for fairness, else you should have made this a jam entry ;) |
| Sep 4 17:05:00 | 8m 00s | evolution of monsters | OW! OW! OW! OW! OW! OW! OW! is what I mostly got :D |
| Sep 4 17:12:00 | 7m 00s | Fall Of The Ark | Amazing! Graphics, sounds and I love the amount of detail, in the back- and foreground (like the digging earth). Also, the voice of that bald character was suprisingly fitting! (not everyone does it this good. Mostly it sounds very strange) |
| Sep 6 10:32:00 | 41h 20m | Evolve Arena | erm...doesn't load? i get a white page |
| Sep 6 10:36:00 | 4m 00s | DNADream | i liked the animation of the dna, but the sun seemed a little small. also, sounds/music would have been nice |
| Sep 6 20:56:00 | 10h 20m | Neurochronic Alien Fighter: Evolution! | i like the music, but you die pretty fast when you play it, which is frustrating (can you even survive, like a minute o.O ? ). |
| Sep 7 16:20:00 | 19h 24m | Gobbulator | amazing, how much gameplay you get with such simple things. nice sounds. it would have been nice to see some animation |
| Sep 7 16:22:00 | 2m 00s | Sandevo - The Evolutionary Sandbox | crashed on windows 7, 64 bit :( |
| Sep 7 16:31:00 | 9m 00s | Praegressus Bellum (Evolution War) | yeah, since this is your first LD: never never never never just upload your src :/. many people won't play your game because you made no executable, therefore you won't get ratings. even if it's python, who says the person that wants to play your game has python installed? or even is allowed to install anything? (this actually applies to many people). please keep this in mind , and since there's still time PLEASE MAKE AN EXECUTABLE FAST, if possible also for OSX and Linux :P |
| Sep 7 16:35:00 | 4m 00s | Blocks eating blocks and evolving into more blocks | the idea is nice, but i wish you would have had put some more effort into graphics. the first round, i didn't know what i was (same color lifebar and self), a few rounds or so later i didn't knew why i kept dying and/or why i couldn't go through darker blocks |
| Sep 7 16:36:00 | 1m 00s | Defend The Galaxy | Forbidden <br/> <br/>You don't have permission to access /browserbased/DefendTheGalaxy on this server. <br/> <br/>er...what? |
| Sep 7 16:42:00 | 6m 00s | Cat Evolution! | it's nice to have a instruction page, but no-one is going to read a page with so much info :/ (tl;dr!!). the more complicated your game is, the easier you have to create tutorial/intro levels |
| Sep 7 16:45:00 | 3m 00s | Germ Super Spy | it didn't run for me, i just got a light grey squared box :/ (windows 7, 64 bit?). the concept sounded interesting though |
| Sep 7 16:53:00 | 8m 00s | Evolve | there are several LD games here with the same concept, but so far, i liked yours the most. but one thing: you took some graphics out of other games, that's not cool and also not following the rules :/. come on, i'm sure you could do or could have done these few grass/cloud graphics yourself with paint. it would have had a better feel then |
| Sep 7 16:54:00 | 1m 00s | Blob Out | erm...couldn't start your .jnlp file? it just crashed... |
| Sep 7 17:00:00 | 6m 00s | Lab Experiment Demo | liked the music, but after the first puzzle i just kept seeing myself jumping into lava :? |
| Sep 7 17:03:00 | 3m 00s | GONADS | huh? the robots are cheating and just walk through my barricades :/? firefox btw |
| Sep 7 17:09:00 | 6m 00s | The SuperBugs | too many particles are also not good. i died, and the particles made the game suuuuuuuuuuuper slow |
| Sep 15 07:50:00 | 182h 41m | EvoluTone | i have to agree with saintheiser. a timer or some other kind of indicator, how long you could attract a cell would have been nice. because i played level one, won barely after 4 rounds, had the timing in my fingers, won level 2 with the same timing, but level 3 was just error after error :/ |
