I don't know if this is your first LD, but let me give you a few hints. Everyone has to start at some point. So:
You shouldn't make such a complex game if you knew beforehand that the time is limited. Something like chess IS complicated, and definitely like hardcore impossible to write a decent computer playre for that.
Next, I don't know where your focus was, but at least you should have added your complex patterns and rules into the game! Like when you click a pawn, it says 'Promote to star thingie' or highlight the fields it can move to
Third hint: You should start to have a look at the other games. Not only will your own game get more ratings, the more games you play and rate, you will also learn a lot. LudumDare is community-driven, so if you want everyone to play your game, do the same and play the games of others. Luckily, there are still over 19 days left ;)

I like it. I think it is a good idea.

Superb audio (easily some of the best)! I just wish the game were explained better in-game (and while I like complexity; it should probably be introduced incrementally with a few sample tutorial rounds). I hope you're able to improve on the concept and make a more user friendly version; I'd like to give it a shot!

Interesting spin on chess, good job on the design.

Interesting new chess idea, I would also prefer to see, which cells are allowed to step to with a dragged figure. The music is sophisticated and creates the right mood for the gameplay, but decent sounds for the movements of figures would improve the feeling.

Very interesting idea, but hard to grasp. Lovely audio!

Needs more explaining in game.

Interesting idea. I know is hard to design a board game and their rules in so little time, so good job.
I like the concept of promoting pieces, reminds me of Japanese chess.
