| Hitsuji: Shears Of Fury | WOW!!! Coming up with a game that has this many attacks and combos in 48 hours is definitely some kind of record.

I didn't really figure out all the moves, I mostly used dash and wall jump (and button mashing) - this kind of game needs moves introduced by an old man character one at a time so the player gets trained.

I was going to give completeness a 4 because you couldn't get hurt by enemies but then I saw the highscore saving so I'll swing the five.

Cool movement and combo system!
| Sheep Suckers | this is really neat. hard. flying sheep amidst swirling colors, it's a software equivelent of lsd. I think the -/+ should have moved a bit faster. | ||
| The Destruction of The Sheep | To me, ten levels is long, not short. :) Nice job. | ||
| Sheep Town | Astounding that you did this in 48 hours!!! | ||
| Sheep Dome | Needs a lot of little tweaks to feel right. It said "use standard fps keys".. that's WASD!! Which didn't work, but yeah I found the arrow keys.

The making platforms by shooting and holding down the button is very innovative.

I thought the sounds were great!

Lowered tech score because of repeated crashes.
| SheepCom | Ok, I'm going to be having sheep nightmares for awhile thanks to this entry. The marching music and hundreds of baa sounds work well and will drive you insane too. It's very cool how you can 'paint' walls on in 3d.

The readme said I could watch sheep explode but in reality it's more like they blow up like a balloon and disappear.

The mouse cursor had some odd problems the more you played, by the end I could only build in 1/4th the screen area. I had a crash while trying to build outside the fence... perhaps that is justice though.
| Final submission of "Living Sheep" | This is really an impressive entry, kind of lemmings like strategy with four levels (well.. level 2 doesn't really count..or the Mike level ;) ) and a map editor.

However, I have two beefs that really affected gameplay, fun and overall for me:

1: when shooting a missle right next to a tile the collision detection doesn't work. I almost quit on level 2 because I kept firing missles too close and thought the block couldn't be destroyed. Made the game much harder.

2: There is a one second pause enforced between building 'rainbow' blocks. This does force me to use some strategy but the way level 4 is designed this would be so much more fun without the delay, otherwise I just don't have the patience, takes too long.

Very good graphical look and gravity physics, reminds me of Ultimate Wizard on the C64.
| Sheep Rescue | very cool. Personally I really liked the low grav control and the jump noise is perfect, I got an atari 2600 flashback, I like how you can hold down jump and go straight to the top of the structure, nice touch.

It was fun killing the sheep.

| ||
| World Domination: Sheep vs Wolves | cool map and clicking system. looks like python gets more popular in each contest | ||
| Sheep Strike | Innovative mix of several types of games - graphics style is beautiful. I hate having to quit out because I couldn't lose though! ;) | ||
| chicken | Good concepts and I rather liked simple clean graphic style. The big problem was collision detection with the bird is like WAAAAY too sensitive, I couldn't get past that second bird by the hole. And I can't shoot it?? Not fair!

The 2 for cosmetic theme is because I've heard rumors there is a sheep somewhere. I just can't get to it.

This entry screwed up my dekstop after crashing a few times. :(

Block building was cool, but I couldn't figure out a way to build where I wanted to, only where my bullet hit the wall.
| Onslaught! Sounds intriguing, no? | bugboy, very nice. immpressive selection of walls, weapons and enemies for a 48 hour game

To those that haven't played it yet: Be sure to set your volume to max first to get the full effect.
| Trans-Icelandic Express | Interesting and unique, took a while to get the hang of it. Felt 'big' which is pretty rare in a 48 hr game. | ||
| Bleten | it has POOOOOP!!! | ||
| Sheeps R Us | sweet, I played for a quite a while. the graphics worked very well | ||
| Run Away Sheep | cool. i thought the jumping could use some tweaking | ||
| Counter Sheep | these are the best 3d graphics of the contest. most of the entries don't use normals/vertex lighting. | ||
| The Sheep Wars | Very strong entry, interesting gameplay. Shooting/explosion sounds would have really been great. Maybe I'm just bad but the computer is too tough for me.. !! | ||
| SheepShifter | I like this, finished all the levels. Nice job. Hey, to me, making a bridge <cough cough="" destroying="" water,=""> counts as construction so there. :D</cough> | ||
| Bleaters | Cool rts kind of sheep sim - a bit glitchy but the funny sounds make up for it. :) Control was FRUSTRATING as heck with the wood biters who didn't feel like doing what they were told until they were already next to the wood. Or something. I got to the level with the cameras on the right but I accidently clicked past the story part so I don't know what I was supposed to do and gave up.

The little stories that went along with each level really added to it.
| Robo Sheep | pretty sweet, everybody else already said the insightful stuff so I'll just say hi and cya on irc | ||
| Sheep & Crates | I'm voting n/a on gameplay as I couldn't test it with another person, as I understand it that means that part won't be taken into account on the vote.

Great graphics, reminds me of banja chat!
| Mut Shbin | Great concept!!! I felt like my sheep was too slow, didn't like having to wait 4 seconds per building to really demolish it.

I heard this weird sound, I thought maybe it was the sound of choppers flying but then looked at my health and it was almost gone.. that was a machine gun sound, right!!

The art style worked perfectly for this type of game. If the construction part had actually been finished this could have been like the old Ghostbusters game in reverse.
| Final | This is really a unique experience. Like weird dream.

I could not save one darn sheep. I think it's one of those things where if you made it, it's childsplay but to someone else it's really tricky.

Perhaps starting the first level with only one sheep emitter and only need to place one block correctly and gradually raising the difficulty would have made a great deal of difference on the learning curve.

Great music. Show off. ;)
| Sheepers | impressive. I thought it was weird that the buttons on the bottom changed order sometimes. maybe that's part of the original lemmings, i dunno, been a long time since I've played it. on a side note that was a really cool intro screen | ||
| Sheep O Rama | I liked it - Very cool graphics and the movement was good, but yeah, I kept getting stuck too. (spawned inside barriers at the start of levels a few times)

So I left it and went to the kitchen for a while and when I got back I was on level 15! It plays itself! Sound was ok but I dropped the score a bit because some of the .wav's were dated from 2000.
| SoaringSheep final entry | I really like this entry. Flaws in gameplay but some small rule changes could really help.. for instance a contest to see who could hit the most planes with sheep would have been more of a challenge.

I liked the overall style and presentation of the game.
| Sheepenstein | Really neat idea. Isn't really a game, more like an educational title for jr frankenstiens. | ||
| Attack Sheep | Really cool idea. I didn't really understand exactly how the robot programming worked but it was hilarious watching it keep doing funny stuff like bombing his way off the screen. | ||
| Killer Sheep, And A Cool Zombie! | Very weird, I like that. But the gameplay has issues. | ||
| Entry | Very funny, great chainsaw sound and some nice animations. If the bombs could hurt the wolf I think that would have made a big difference on gameplay. | ||
| Sammy The Sheep | Cool fireball effect | ||
| Sheep Pop! | Strangely addictive | ||
| Sheep Craft | i saw a sheep. then it ran away | ||
| 48game valles | ah ok, I figured this entry out. Put on Pink Floyds "The Wall" and play it backwards while tapping the right arrow key to the beat!!! It's amazing!!!! Also required is a projection system to beam it onto your dome shaped white cealing. |
