LD49 — Unstable

Button's Garden by Matt Heinrich 2021-10-05T02:33:25Z

Outside the issues said in the description, the game was pretty good. I absolutely loved the art and gameplay. It was relaxing but still made me have to think about the plant placement. Only other issue I had was I couldn't plant the funeral knell even though I had 3 of each resource.

To Heaven and Back by Barji 2021-10-04T23:26:58Z

Took a bit to realize what exact mechanics were, but was overall pretty fun and had nice parkour mechanics. Not sure if I was doing something wrong, but I couldn't turn down the loud music.

De-stable-ization / Unstable by treenut 2021-10-05T13:28:28Z

I found this quite enjoyable, especially with the comedic writing. The physics were a little wacky in just the right way. There were noticeable performance drops with multiple balls on screen, but aside from that the game was good.

Don't Tell HR! by bongo227 2023-10-05T03:16:37Z

I enjoyed it, was a fun and simple shooter. I think less floors and some variation between the floors would go a long way and an end screen that allowed the player to restart rather than automatically exiting would be nice.

Warehouse 2319 by Silas Reinagel 2023-10-05T04:23:05Z

Overall an absolute blast, you guys got great gameplay, writing, and graphics! I encountered a couple of glitches, one where I clipped through the stairs and exited the boundaries and one where I got a blue box at the final level despite having no blue boxes in the map. Other than that, and a little bit of physics jank, the game is easily one of my favorites so far.

STOP BURYING ME ALIVE, BEAUTIFUL! by robobarbie 2023-10-05T02:57:55Z

The art style and overall atmosphere were gorgeous! I had to play a few times to see if I could get all the endings (I think I did).

LD55 — Summoning

The Summoner's Apprentice by Vodzik 2024-04-28T00:38:51Z

I really want to like this game, and in many ways I do. However, the glaring flaw is the player is forced to do trial and error to figure things out. A little to a moderate amount is fine, but there is just so little direction given between the teacher and the book that there is way too much guesswork for the game to be fun. The art, the music, and pretty much everything else is great. This game has a lot of potential, and I suggest you keep working on it, there's a lot of fun to be had with this foundation.

Dungeon Evoker by VPhyre 2024-04-28T00:05:27Z

Definitely had some fun with this game. Generally I enjoy rhythm games and this was no exception. The premise and art style were fun and the gameplay felt pretty smooth for the most part. Only thing I didn't like was there was no transition between hitting the notes and attacking, which made me mess up a few times since it changed right as I pressed a button.

Bring Forth The Master by Justin Pena 2024-04-27T23:45:14Z

A creative take on the stealth genre, playing as the 'bad guy' for once. The tone and ambiance of the game was definitely the standout, and the general dark and lack of color look contributed a lot to that. Some areas in the map got a bit tedious to play, and a little more variety would've been good, for a game jam this was definitely quite fun.

Summonpalooza by tucan 2024-04-28T00:51:34Z

I very much enjoy your guys game. Mechanically it was pretty simple, but the pixel art was off the charts. There were so many detailed sprites jammed into it and I can tell a lot of effort was put into each one of them. Overall great job!

Child of Ruin by Rick Williams 2024-04-27T23:00:46Z

Such a big game scope for a game jam, overall loved it and had a blast playing. The game was very fun and enjoyable for the most part, a little bit of jank here and there but still impressive with the massive project and large amount of people.

Deep State by Polygraph Polypraphovich 2024-04-18T00:52:49Z

Good effort to make a game by yourself in 72 hours, and bold choice of topic, though I don't think this one exactly turned out. Definitely good effort though, it's not easy doing these, especially solo.

Summoning Tower by Julian France 2024-04-28T01:11:03Z

This takes me back to bloons tower defense, but this is certainly a unique take on the genre. I had a blast with this game. The balancing was near perfect, the graphics were simple yet worked very well. Overall a great submission to the game jam, great work!
