Wow! The idea is really cool, the ambiance is nice, the animation of the posthuman cap was neat *uwu* I replayed it thrice just because I had fun. I love the fact that we could spam the letters :P I would LOVE to see it polish, with damage feedbacks, screen following when we go up, a victory screen, etc... Gg guys!

We had a similar idea we didn't do in the end, so I'm glad someone did it!! :D The stamping and posting categories are really coherent to the universe! Even tho the graphism are a little less coherent, but you had three days to make it happen by yourself, so big gj! It's pretty fun having to stamp but you can't clearly see them on the packages which makes this game less accessible to color blind people :/

But thank you for your comment, we sure would like to add more feedback of your choice on the characters' thoughts! And you're right about reading everybody's thougths but not being able to send them letters, it can be frustating or overwhelming, we're working on that too!

@protowlf Haha, nice, we're currently trying to make it even more intriguing but we'll update these features after the ratings ;-) As for the impact, there is one, but it is very light for now. We have planned on adding more event corresponding to what you've sent them and thus create full narrative arcs, also edit the text of the events depending on how you made them feel with your letters. Having the characters interacting is really something we want to implement!! Although we wrote some meeting events we sadly didn't have time to implement them in the game yet, but in future updates we hope to make it happen ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ˜‰

I wasn't sure that it would be consistent to write the letters with the combining system, thus I'm glad you liked the feature ~

The concept of having to manage resources in order to go on an adventure and discover a beautiful story is pretty smart! I would have liked either a save system, (outside of a jam scope:) maybe such as when the player has tried that option in a past run already they know what it does ?

I found my Orpheus! โ€‹I liked playing Eurydice. I loved the "aouch" SFX. Spammed it.

Thanks to the traders, it wasn't too repetitive and the โ€œfailsโ€ weren't too punishing. I'd even just look for white ghosts nearby and get slingshoted. The two-stage runs are really interesting, with the โ€œlife barโ€ being the ghosts, very meta, very smart. Thanks for making sure that the white ghosts come out first when you get hit, and so on in ascending order of rank.

So, in fact the first "left, right, ahead" choices have no minigame to them, this passage is supposed to make you feel getting deeper and deeper into the tunnels. Which made me think that since these choices have no impact at all, I should just put a {write_on} there instead. Or in the future something like "follow the voice"/"leave these tunnels". Thus, thank you.

But then, in the actual "Left, Right, Ahead" minigame, you have in fact exactly these descriptions. About them, I understand that if you just want to get it done, you don't spend that much time inside the echoing dead end, and you don't get the clues supposed to help you to exit the maze without getting caught by the beast. I guess then that the choices for which path you take feels arbitrary and the descriptions abstruse/useless.

What I would really like to know, is that if the players who spent time reading the echoing dead end descriptions, could decide which path to take and exited the maze more easily.

We also put a Mariana trench reference in our game, lol (literaly a Mariana's trench coat easter egg). Love the wiggling hair on our character's chibi. Well written. Interesting approach of the theme, enhanced by excessive use of 'deep' and 'depths' words xD (we did it too). Very fun. Wonderfull art and music. I DID it!! Gg for this game you made all alone. The starting animation is very much needed bc it makes it all clear and is very cute, too.. (reminded me of these mario party minigames when you "jump in" in flies from 3 quarter view to top view). A simple, effective game.
