Game is just really confusing, I have no clue what's going on or what I'm supposed to do.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → Users → Cracky

This seems like it's going places. Needs more levels!
Beuatiful, but as others have said. Not really a game.
^It basicly jsut sucks in the list of upgrades/levels that the two best performing enemies of the last wave had (based on life time, kills add 30 seconds). And then semi-randomly divides up their upgrades to create 4 new enemies. Those 4 new enemies then have a random selection of upgrades removed or moved down a level, then all 6 enemies have upgrades randomly added until they reach a certain "total cost" for upgrades. (This cost increases each wave, resulting in larger enemies)
Overall pretty great! Gameplay is a bit lacking though, you end up spending a lot of time just waiting for enough DNA points while you do nothing, and the enemies also do nothing.
Could use some texture on the background to indicate movement. The other thing it lacks is some sort of "Direction" to it. Even something as simple as a score counter would eb nice.
Very good production quality, but...
- gameplay Got a bit repetitive
-- lack of sound effects
-------Fixed to a LARGE windowed resolution!
Probably the best sue of the theme i've seen yet
THe balance between ships is a bit off, and the difficulty definitley doesnt scale right. But I don't expect anyone to get those things right in a mere 48 hours. Everything is spot on! Excelent job!
Certainly an interesting and well made game... only issue is that I spent the entire time just randomly pressing strange buttons. I eventually won, somehow, but it wasn't really clear what I was doing...
Kindda falls into the "more a simulation than a game" pitfall, but nonetheless really cool!
