This actually really fun. I kinda wish this was a game on Android, I can totally imagine playing this :) The mechanics are simple yet fun, and graphics are very nice.

how do i give rating
My god, this was surprisingly fun! I went all in on frost, so the last boss never hit me, finished the game with 50/50 hp. Good job!
Hi @hank_the_tank. If you see the star buttons near the categories under the game's description - you can click on them. 5 stars is the best rating and 0 stars is the worst.
@thatsommes Thanks a lot, what a surprise that you finished with 50/50! I should roll an update with the balance fix :) "Going Down" looks great by the way, awesome work!
@iluvatar Thank you for the kind words, much appreciated. Absolutely in love with your pixel art in the "The Void" and projects from the previous Ludum Dare events. This is what I should definitely check out. Keep doing the amazing work.
Really enjoyed this game, very polished and fun
Liked the game. Overall very addictive gameplay. Potentially a great mobile game.
Cool game, really addictive! Feels very juicy and engaging!
Really good game, i struggled to understand how ennemies are attacking but after that it was so cool ! Different upgrades of the tools you have are all useful in certain strategies, i think the ice is the best so you can attack freely the ennemies. Graphics are quite polished this is nice and the audio ambiance is pleasant =)
Ahh I had so much fun, until I accidently pressed on the restart button, when I was mining minerals :D Got to level 11 I think. The only thing I was missing is the fullscreen button. Great entry!
At first, I was a bit bored — the rocks felt too tough. For some reason, I didn’t quit the game, even though I wasn’t really enjoying it. But after a few levels, when I went deeper and started getting new gear, the game really came to life. Before I knew it, I was mining ore in a trance, torn between healing up or diving into the next fight! You did an excellent job!
I do enjoy the peace of digging through rocks, and managed to beat the final boss with little trouble. The game looks visually great. I do wish there was more room to make strategic choices. A single run is enough to get a feel for each effect, and the freeze on the pickaxe was easily the best effect to deal with enemies without getting hit at all. There seemed to be little incentive to go for floors that had enemies as even healing floors offered gold to be found. It was pretty funny to get to a shop near the end and it had a basic sword to buy when I had a shining legendary I just found. Very nice work!

This was so fun! This is the first game I jumped into to review for LD57. This is a really entertaining gameplay loop. I love the rougelite elements, mining aspect, combat.
I think I played all the way though without understanding how the shield system works.
My only wish would be to have more content/items, but I understand this is a game jam and can't knock you for that!
Level and player progression makes it pretty addictive. I have played for pretty long and could play some more. But the enemy mechanics stays a bit unclear for me. For a long time I wasn't even noticing that there's any damage (some sound could be useful), and then, well, the 'fighting' just doesn't feel right in general. Great job anyway
At first I though it was a bit slow, then I started to find my own way through the game mechanics, and it became quite fun! The effects (thunder, explosion, earthquake...) are super effective, the mini-map helps a ton, and the game idea is good. I beated the final boss after some time, was a bit disappointed there was no "you won" message, but fun game.
You nailed the theme and I really like the upgrade systems. My favorite is frost. Pretty addicting to just blast all the rocks open. Great submission!!
This is so cool! It's so satisfying to mine the blocks, the sound design on that is crucial and you nailed it! I love the progression and the different upgrades on your tools you collect throughout the game. I could see this being a very popular addictive mobile game if fleshed out and released:)
Like gameplay and sound, good job! Check my game and rate too, comrade!
The game was very fun to play ! Could totally be a mobile game. The only thing I found a bit weird is the background that quite doesn't match the graphics of the game. Otherwise, well done !
Great game, I really liked it. Interesting gameplay and idea, I would like a sequel. Thanks for this game!
very cool game, would have liked some background music, graphics are nice and polished :ok_hand:
I enjoyed it a lot! It has a strong and simple core loop, reminded me of the caves in Story of Seasons when you have to find the "hole" to the floor below. I like the different power ups and that you can select to replace the ones you have or not.
One of the games I enjoyed the most so far.
That was a great game!! I think it was perfectly balanced, and had lots of strategy to it. It was strangely addictive, and I felt like I wanted to go all the way to the end.

The progression was just perfect, and the mechanics were simple to understand yet had complexity to it. I love that you also added elements to the weapons, and also to the pickaxe, so there was strategy to destroy some rocks first before fighting some enemies. Such great risk reward balance!
I think my criticism is just that every other element besides frost needed some buffs, because frost was easily the best element while the others were pretty useless. Also I want to point out that there was no use for gold, but I assume you didn't have time to implement a store to spend the gold on haha.
That was a great entry! Thank you for the game.
