Fun mechanics and great music!
Great game made, I can tell lots of effort was put in this!
The racoons are sooo cute! I love their designs. Fun little game, groovy music, great job!
Very cute!! Really great for a first game. Love the style. The purple-launch aspect can feel a lil stuck and finnicky at times. If this were to be fleshed out as a full game, it could be cool if there was a button to walk them all at the same time for crossing larger distances.
Interesting mechanic! I found it a little annoying to have to cycle between the characters, it might be nice to include an option to select a character with the mouse instead
The raccoons have so much personality! Animations look super sleek as well. Music's groovy and it's fun to play with it in the background.
Fun Puzzle platformer! Great art and a cute style!
Impressive art style and those little creatures 🥰
This reminds me a lot of a game called Snipperclips on the Nintendo Switch, at least now I can play something similar to that in singleplayer! :sunglasses:
Good art, nice gameplay, your team came together very nicely :thumbsup:
Impressed that such a large team made this for Ludum Dare, I tried being part of a large group before and it was very hard to have any cohesive effort. A job well done!
Well done! The raccoons turned out to be very cute!
Cool game,cool music. I like super juuuuuuuuump.
@qab @daredevinbegins @bizzybee @blackcat508 @tiberiusuciu @darsor @cloistered @gudkova-ds thank you for the feedback!
@giraffalope thank you for the feedback, the superjump was originally a bug, but we liked it enough that to we didn't fix it and used it as a feature
@balimaarthebassfish it was fun time. It was basically the first time for most of us making a game and we learned a lot together. It was hard to manage but we all came together and worked on different things to even out the load
Using a bug as a feature is a pure developer move. Nicely done! If i'm not missing anything you can softlock the game at the final level. Oh and the music is well made. Congrats!
Congratulations on your first game! The music fits really well. The character sprites are quite cute but the background looks a bit strange to me and the controls are rather floaty. It's a great achievement for three days and your first jam as a team, though. Oh and how did you manage do upload your Godot game to Ludum Dare without any errors?
I LOVE the idea of working together to advance. Great job!
Super fun! It was just so great working together to achieve the goal. Great ramp up on introducing the game elements and then the final level that lets you use them all together. Launching was awesome. Only one character being able to go under ground also lent itself to fun problem solving.
Maybe give pink an ability to? Like the others copy her movements or pink can carry blue and still jump or something.
Nice work, great game!
Congratulations on your first game! Love the basic idea you got going, the puzzles and progression was done well.
Some tips: - Pixel art should be cohesive! Pay attention to resolution sizes and the size of pixel art, differences in size can look a little jarring. Your racoon designs are super cute and the little launch animation was pretty funny, but it being different pixel size than the background and other objects are a little off. - Limit yourselves! You have a lot of little mechanics that was not necessary. I loved the repeat use of the pipes, underground, and launch. I thought the moving platform bridge might've been a bit much.
Other than that, nice game!
@emozdemir thank you for the feedback, i think the bug made it a lot more funnier! yeah there might have been, we made that level in like the final hours when we realized that all of our levels were just tutorials and we wanted something more
@nubels thank you! the music by @JustinHanSocalMan was one of the first times he had made music and when we all heard it, we were all shocked. yeah, the background compared to the characters were different. we had actually had a mis up in the communication with one of the team members making the background, but its something we can learn on and improve for our next jam together! for exporting, i watched a video on it, and when an error showed up when uploading it to ludam dare, i just straight went to their embedding rules and checked and found the fix. i have some work in websites, and so i had some background experience to kinda know at least what to fix, but we gave ourselves a lot of time to try to embed it. all in all a very rewarding experience, we are planning on doing another game jam soon so i hope we have as much fun then also
@desibragg thank you!
@rufenerd we had worked on a feature for the pink guy, it was the ability to talk and interact with NPC, that why there is the heart on their stomach. we were working with a addon that i saw in a video to handle it, and did some work on it, but by the time we went back to it, all the files either corrupted or just refused to work, and so we scrapped it last minute. thank you!
@pious will take notes, we kept on throwing things at the wall instead of really forming a real plan in the beginning, and the game took a different path then we originally had planned for. we had a miscommunication with the person who worked on the background, 100% my fault, but i still think it added a bit nicer of a touch then the white background that it was before, but will remember these things for our next game jam, thank you!
@wesel Oh that'll definitely happen. It's no big deal, still much better than my first jam submission years ago. And definitely any background is better than none! That was definitely a 1+ up than my own first submission!
@wesel > ability to talk and interact with NPC
Sounds awesome!
The game mechanics are super fun, and I love the art style!
It's really cool to see every raccoon use their abilities for each level! Great concept! I can see these critters get a spinoff for another Jam if ever you wanted to reuse them. Make sure to give them names aha!
Fun game. I was stuck at the level that said launch blue. Idk how to launch blue. Good mood with the art and the music.
@shamiya @taigumii thank you! will give them better names the just the colors
@crimoudin If you stack them, with purple on the bottom, pink in the middle, and blue on the top, you could hit G with purple to activate their ability and launch blue into the sky. Thank you for the compliments on the art and music!
funny toy very cool
Audio is super cool, had a lot of fun, mechanics are so interesting!
Very great game for the first time , good luck 🔥
@musiiirrornka @pachino55 @m1fex thank you!
It's a bit like a combination of Tetris and some kind of cooperative puzzle game. The level design is very interesting. If different keys can be used to control different characters, it would be even better to make a cooperative puzzle game!
the puzzle is very fun,the animals is so cute
The racoons are so cute!! I think the only thing that majorly bothered me was the barrel physics and trying to super jump. Swapping between characters fast was kinda clunky, but thankfully you're not required to use it all that much. The barrel physics were crazy though. I'm glad it was only an issue once, and fyi I think there is a setting for a Rigidbody to not act like a moving platform/not add its velocity to a character stepping on it, that might help!
@4tr33 thank you, we were thinking of that early in the process, but never had time to commit it
@rsheepdv yeah, the barrel was very rushed. it was to just make an item that can be pushed and jumped on. i will look into that for the rigidbody, didnt know that was a thing. thank you!
@reeeid thank you!
I love the raccoons! Very cute! Swapping between characters was a bit of a hassle and made it hard to super jump. This reminds me a lot of pico park-but-single player :) Great job!
@dinobobbo thank you!
Very cool idea! Reminds me of The Lost Vikings, from way back when.
@juju thank you!
@juju thanks for the comparison, I personally haven't seen many platformer games where you can stack and switch characters, so making this game with the team really helped us revive some sort of the genre a lil bit :)
Adorable art, amazing music, and it's a fun concept! I appreciate the slow tutorial introduction, but found it hard to memorize all the controls
I enjoyed the game and the music! It reminds of an old game called Alley Cat that I played as a kid on Windows 3.1.
I had trouble with accidentally launching raccoons on the chasm level, which at first I thought was supposed to be the game mechanic, but maybe is a bug? But then I figured out that I could move sideways when I'm up off screen.
@wavicle hi yeah, the launching raccoons idea was originally from a bug, but we grew it to be implemented in our game. The Idea of launching the raccoon to reach other platforms was an interesting concept we didn't see implemented in many games, so we decided to put it in ourselves!
Thank you for the support for our game!
@bestjess thanks for the input! We definitely could have fixed some of the controls to be less confusing, but overall we are proud of the output given the timeframe and other personal issues within team cooperation.
Guys, i love this music) And mechanics very nice, very good game for jam!
This was fun! Reminds me vaguely of Thomas Was Alone vibes with the character switching and stacking. I liked that there were quite a few different levels (especially given the time constraints). Also, that's hilarious that the super jump was originally a bug!
Nice job my man, this project was great. loved that you used a creature that wasn't seen in much other places
the design is very cute and nice. The game is a pleasure to play
cool mechanics!! reminds me of Home Sheep Home back when i played it haha. Music is relaxing, graphics are cute and it was p fun to figure out the levels :] Only thing that i must say is- there were too many controls- maybe keep them noted somewhere? Nice job!
I liked the game, however it feels like it is similar to many older Flash puzzle games and didn't really bring anything new to the table (except for those cute raccoons, of course). The stacking, needing a key, travelling through pipes are all often seen in such games :confused: launching the blue raccoon was a nice touch but not often necessary.
The levels were quite short in my opinion, it often was obvious from the start what you should do and in what order. But I see that there's not much time in a jam for designing compicated levels.
The physics were quite erratic, but as someone who worked with Godots physics engine before (well, tried to) I absolutely understand that struggle to get it working - it is a mess
Really interesting mechanics, I wish all 3 racoons had their own powers to help mix things up a bit.
@logovostudio @nataku92 @vittima thank you!
@lumbra will do that for the next jam our group is doing. we dont really know whats best to do since its our first game, but we will make the controls a lot more clear next time! thank you!
@langit other then the purple guy being able to expand, and the blue guy being able to go underground, we were planning on allowing the pink guy, be able to talk and interact with npcs, that's what the heart on their stomach was meant to represent, but we sadly had bugs and ran out of time to fully implement it. thank you!
@lunaria-rava thank you for the criticism and advice. it a lot of ours first game and we strayed far off from what the original plan was that we had created. we are planning on doing another jam in a week, and we are taking the time right now to plan out organization and make it a lot easier for us to work with each other, and hopefully make a more polished and unique game next time. thank you!
Cute racoons, very groovy music, so cool !!
What an utter joy!! Raccoon antics are tragically underrepresented in gaming. What has the world even given us since Sly Cooper?? The characters somehow manage to be so charming and distinct inherently and the puzzles are really cool. It's just an awesome game concept and execution all around.
@roroto-sic @indie-game-academy thank you!
this is gas!!! very cool mechanics very nice
This game is fire congrats guys! Nice level design, level progression and music! Some small improvements that be done would be the maybe make the raccoon launch animation snappier and add some sound effects feedback for when we do actions in the game.
WAW! OMG! Game are insane!
Nice puzzle game and cute raccoon, really addictive and challenging!
@master-yeet @dimoseek @rickyokita thank you!
Interesting concept. Cute raccoons. I had fun playing the levels. Puzzles were challenging, but not too much, good job!
It was funny to extend the purple raccoon and launch another one to infinity. I wish you had time to add pink's ability that you mentioned in the comments.
I noticed that you can switch characters while they are walking and they keep going, that made movement feel faster and overall better. Nice!
I just wonder, what are these raccoons trying to accomplish...

This was so fun!! I loved the music and the little raccoons! Congrats on making this really cute little awesome game!
@kristirose88 thank you for your support!
@drinlan Hi, we did have a concept of having the pink raccoon find his love at the end of the level, kinda like a princess peach and mario situation, however we had limited time to apply it and so we had to switch gears. Thank you for your input though, it is greatly appreciated!
Lovely little puzzle-plateformer! Nice and varied mechanics, good job!
I feel like you give to many instruction, "Push the barrel to climb ontop" or "Launch blue across" could be things that the player as to figure out on there own
For a first game, this is a very solid effort. Congratz. Also, this moving platform stole my heart, as it was trembling, and I've seen myself in it. Full of anxiety.
@yeris @just-a-dev Thank you guys for the feedback!
