Nice one :)

mijio 2024-10-08 09:03

okay you try...

memz 2024-10-08 19:15

a bit clunky on the controls, and rather short for a platformer. Good try though

ricoshade 2024-10-08 19:16

Nice try! idea seems cool, wish you implemented the settings menu lmao , got a mini jumpscare from the music when you start XD

onvi-54 2024-10-08 19:39

Interesting idea and very nice art!

vittima 2024-10-08 20:19

Cool design and a good idea. But it's a little hard to get through

athospap 2024-10-08 20:29

Liked the metal soundtrack

bstabuu 2024-10-08 21:17

I... couldn't get through. I think my biggest issue was that "launch pads" worked inconsistently. Sometimes they launched me just like I needed to move forward and sometimes they didn't. Good job on the visuals and art though. I think I'm gonna get back to this game for another couple of dozens of tries later.

rensun 2024-10-08 23:39

I liked the drive from the beginning, the music is rocking, adjust the hitboxes and it would be great!

mdsalomon 2024-10-09 06:30

Starts with a bang, but movement and general detection is clunky. Was constantly getting stuck on the scenery as I tried to run away. Concept is solid and the art is extremely charming, but I wish there was better telegraphing on the spikes, jump vents and so on.

aripize 2024-10-09 13:33

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to play fully. When I opened the web version, the screen was too close and Cerberus caught up quickly. But, what's for sure - you have great music and artwork!

pimping 2024-10-09 14:29

Nice match with theme, but i guess you forget to remove physics material from your character.

brdyy 2024-10-09 16:29

Fun platformer! I found all of the movement to be quite fluid, with the only exception being wall collisions.

tomrijnbeek 2024-10-09 17:28

The music and the big Cerberus starts the game off right, but the platforming just didn't feel very fluid, so it was easy to get stuck. It wasn't clear to me that you had to use the launchpad to go up either, so the game definitely needs a bit more polish. Nice art and music though.

james-wilson 2024-10-09 19:03

Cool sound track and vibe. I found myself getting caught sometimes on the geometry and I think there could be some better signposting in certain level interactions such as making it clear what kills me and where air geysers air. Well done for submitting.

nikitastarostin 2024-10-09 19:28

I think the game doesn't really fit the ludum theme, as cerberus is big on its own. It would be more suited to the Big Creatures theme. But the realization in 3 days is not bad! Way to go! 8/10 is my rating

dianavi 2024-10-09 23:25

Nice music, it's cool but might be a bit difficult to manage

iwant-pizza 2024-10-09 23:26

Cool, funny in places, but otherwise a destructive ass, why? Yes, because the technical implementation, to put it mildly, is lame, along with the dog that gave birth to a cat) well, something like this, the whole team went through it and at first they couldn’t get through the first big jump, but then it rolled along.... In general, the game is cool, but next time think a few times about the technical implementation

juju 2024-10-09 23:41

Cool game, but maybe a little too challenging? Either way, very nice!

miku 2024-10-10 05:00

This is a really tough game! I wished that there were some check points past the first few jumps because it was disheartening to start again from the beginning, but overall the style and mood of the game was really neat! ;-; One thing that constantly got me was that my character would become stuck in the terrain, it would be really nice if it was refined for future iterations.

kotolazer 2024-10-10 08:33

The difficulty is well done in this game, the game is very challenging but lacks checkpoints. It is not clear in which places there is a force that throws you up and it should be conditioned by some effect. And so the game turned out to be very exciting and I had a nice time in it. Good job!

googlefrog 2024-10-10 08:50

Great game. I really like how the frantic pace keeps things moving and makes me just go for jumps. At one point I thought checkpoints would be nice, but the stage is short enough that I figured they weren't needed. The platforming can be tough, but not unfair (with one exception), and by the end I found that I was breezing through most of the game.

I had some trouble with the air vent at the start. It wasn't clear what was going on, why I was going up, so it took a few ties to figure out the mechanic. Something that might be solved be some visuals. But once I figured them out, the air vents were interesting to use. They often meant that approaching from below was the better option. I particularly liked the puzzle with the first sun.

Some sort of ending would have been nice, but it is perhaps the least important part of the game. It was also not clear what the powerups did. I figured out that the caduceus gave me a speed boost, but I don't know what the meat or the suns did. I tried collecting all three suns and winning, since there was a giant sun at the end. This gave me the one bit of platforming that felt a bit unfair: the third sun.

In terms of bugs, I was unable to die to Imps and Tridents, however this was a plus, because if those were active the game would probably have tipped over into being too hard for me to persist. Overall though, it's the most fun I've had with a platformer so far.

beelzeboss 2024-10-10 09:03

I like the pressure of being chased and the music. The controls felt a bit weird, but i can't say why exactly. As others have said I think some effects on the thing that makes you go up would be a nice addition to indicate what it does. I had good fun, GJ!

h1soka 2024-10-12 18:22

The game has a cool concept and great visuals, but the controls can feel a bit clunky at times. I enjoyed the music and the frantic pace, but clearer signposting for mechanics would enhance the experience. Overall, it's a solid attempt with room for improvement!

saumon 2024-10-12 18:38

The gmae is quite chanllenging for me. the music and difficulty have created a good vibe! Good Entry!

yaen 2024-10-17 21:28

Really awesome music! I liked it a lot. The lack of sound effects made it not really come together as a whole though.

The graphics are fine and have a consistent style which is always a big plus.

It was really difficult to make it through and because there were no checkpoints and the controls weren't all that polished, I kind of gave up after one try where I felt like I got really quite far. Didn't feel like starting all over again.

I didn't really understand how this game relates to the theme to be honest.

jedontrack 2024-10-20 18:28

Good fun, I enjoyed the theme and the little story intro at the start. The air vents weren't immediately obviously to me, but honestly I think that's fine. Once I figured out what was goining on the mechanic was really good fun and you can get a nice flow going. It felt like a nice level of difficulty. The only issue I noticed was the controls sometimes felt a bit slow to respond, particularly when trying to jump and move at the same time.

Overall though I enjoyed it, good job!

brainloaf-studio 2024-10-23 00:31

This game is hardcore! I honestly like that it's so difficult, it feels like a real gauntlet when you get farther in and a true representation of the hellish environment. With that being said, I do agree with others that some sort of more forgiving system could be implemented, maybe with the stipulation that it's not a "true" full run if you want to keep the purity of the intended difficulty intact. Nice work!

sleepystudios 2024-10-24 20:24

This game is super chaotic and I love it. The graphics and the music are really great. The platforming was chaotic especially things like the air vents and the hitboxes around some of the platforms but overall I really enjoyed it once I got the hang of it. Cerberus was a nice touch to add to the rushed and chaotic atmosphere. Nice work!
