Very cool game! Love the artstyle and the typing sounds. Is there an end to it, or is it normal to get overwhelmed eventually?
LET'S GOOOO TYPING OF THE DEAD GAME!!! Generally, one of the most cohesive entries I've seen in this entire jam. Lots of it all fits together - the music, the UI, the enemy and environment art, and it all feels high quality. I really, really enjoyed this game, and it immediately got me wondering how you would expand it given more time. I think that's always the mark of a great jam game!
This looks and plays SO WELL, great style that encompasses the whole game. Loved it, just a shame I can't take a break to read what the demon lord is saying XD

Maybe this game will finally teach me to touch type properly, it also helps that it makes me go out of my comfort zone by having to type words I'm not familiar with. Overall a fun little typing game!

How neat! Pretty graphics, right on theme, and the "talking" gimmick was also very nice. I will say that, once like... 10 monsters or so are on your screen (i am not the fastest typer) it gets _very_ hectic, and I found it irritating to not be able to finish some monsters because their LONG names were covered by the shorter ones that sprint at you... The music was also not... my cup of tea, though fitting. I didn't reach it, but, is there an end? Will have to give it a few more tries eventually :)
Wow what a great take on the theme. The typing is super fluid and the game juice on the letters getting matched really stood out. Blew me away when I realised that the menu was also using the typing game approach, great idea and really added to the games vibe. The artwork is impressive, it's very stylised and was executed well, just my kind of game art. The difficulty felt pretty good and the different creature attack speeds meant you had to constantly juggle which word to type at a given time. Great work to your whole team :)
Really simple game but it does what it does extremely well! The graphics are incredibly charming, the sound effects immaculate, a real treat of an experience.
Beautiful graphics, mature gameplay. Just not sure why the protagonist knows the names of the enemies. (Probably because I missed it and English is not my native language)
At first I was thinking "I hope this picks up, I wanna TYPE!" then it got really hard, but that was fun! Got 1309 score

I was playing this thinking about how easy this is cuz I type very well but kinda ended up playing a decent amount smile. Good job was fun :)

I think it would have been nice to see the current speed/swarm level somewhere, so see beyond the score how far I got and the difficulty where I lost
Overall absolutely great game

I always love me a good typing game! The art is great, and the difficulty ramps up nicely. The words getting covered during the more hectic parts is maybe something that needs tweaking, but it also adds to the difficulty, so maybe it's fine. I did notice that you run out of the dictionary pretty quick and words start repeating a lot, so I would've loved to see a much bigger dictionary.

I'm curios, does the game have an ending? It looks like waves of enemies are endless. It is hard for me to judge the game because I don't like typing much, but it was fun. I like the design of small quick monsters with few letters and big slow ones with many letters. Nice game with cool graphics!
Just got a new keyboard layout so this was perfect for me! 🎯 The art is great and the voice that is voicing out while you are typing is a really fun touch! How did you do that? Amazing entry! Wish there was a clearer ending or indication of progress in game✨

The graphics are super engaging, and the quirky voice when spelling adds a great touch of humor to the gameplay. The whole concept is brilliant and really stands out in this jam. Btw we also did typing game
I found it quite challenging to manage the controls and read the text while also trying to keep an eye on the bat tlefield, which made the experience a bit hectic. But i love the art and sound!
Playing this made me realize how slow i type lol. The art and music is great. being able to hear what letters i press made it more interesting and funny when i failed. Good job!
I love fun typing games! I really feel like typing correctly and quickly is a lost art - glad to see things that bring it back. While some repetition was nice, I felt like the word bank was maybe a bit small and I got tired of seeing the same ones (or maybe I didn't get to a high enough level!0. I especially like the touch there you had to type the menu names to work the menu (though maybe if you click on them it should show a hint at the bottom.) Good use of simple 2d art too.

Hi! Visiting you back! Creative idea for the theme and cool art. A nice game overall! I think the demon lord speaking would be rather more interesting in a post jam version. I wasn't able to read anything he said cause I'm a typing boomer sometimes. My game had a similar issue. :sweat_smile:

Well I made two attempts and didn't manage to reach them, so I guess the answer is no :joy:
Really nice art style, and the mix of fast moving easy words and slower moving complex words makes for some nice balance. I think the demon lord was talking, but I have absolutely no way of knowing because I was fully concentrating on the words I needed to type.
