This was a lot of fun! I got stuck at around 52% - couldn't work out where to go next - but I really liked the concept and gameplay. Fun art style and world, cute animations and sound effects, and nice voiceover! Good work!

Such a fun game! I was most pleased with your voice acting, especially the sound of the territory increasing lol. In fact, I also wanted to voice my game myself, but didn’t have time
Hi! I enjoyed the atmosphere of your game. It felt like a weird cross between ASMR and Bill Wurtz lol
Below is my take. I do want to caveat that I didn't finish the game, so please forgive me if I'm missing something later on in the game.
Pros: - Sound design. Somehow, the simplistic music and the vocal sound effects work really well. I can't explain why I like the voices so much. - Narrative. I love how you gave a story to the game and voiced over the character's thoughts when approaching new puzzle pieces. It adds life to the character and the game :)
Room for improvement: - Pacing. I wish there was a way to move faster. Or if there is later in the game, please ignore me! I also think some kind of indicator about whether I've achieved all I need to in each day would be nice - Goal. I get that the end goal is to clean/clear all the air, but I wish there was something more that I'm striving for at the end. Maybe a little more writing to explore why the air needs to be cleared will do? I guess what I'm getting at is that I didn't feel too motivated to clear all 100% of the air.
It didn't work for me in Firefox when trying to run it on LD website, I got: Uncaught DOMException: The operation is insecure.
I had that issue too but got it to work when I disabled Data Cashing in the publishing settings: https://ludumdare.com/resources/guides/embedding/
The hit boxes to pick up items are a little small and it seems like they are in different spots for different tools so they're hard to pick up. Once you get it, you use the tools to progress and unlock different parts of the map. It's cute looking and the music is nice. The voiced sound effects were a nice touch too.
Being able to see the next tool you are close to being able to reach is good for keeping you from getting lost too. I got to the ending without having to do too much back tracking because of that.
Excellent entry! Voice acting and unique graphics made this epic. Honestly a good concept for this theme too. Congrats on a great entry. I felt a little slow at times but not unplayable.
I really love the sense of the limited world expanding over time and how the theme is also kind of explored by marking the end of the day and being able to only select two tools at a time. This game feels so heartwarming - there's something about the choice of the graphics and the music combined with the voice acting and cutscenes that felt emotionally moving. I like that some of the sound effects were voice acted too - from what I could hear anyway. This kind of game would really benefit from having having dynamic music - layers being added over a single theme as the perimeter of the world expands. The theme that was chosen works well given the timeframe.
It seems like some of the barriers have no texture to them - I'm not sure if this was intentional or if time ran out and a graphic couldn't be found to be added. It seemed a little strange and took me out of the experience. Gameplay-wise, I found that picking and choosing the tools on the end-of-day screen were not always responsive. I would go over to a tool and click and sometimes, the tool wouldn't come into my hand. It seems like the game wants me to be positioned directly over the tool in the same hand as where I click, which is quite finicky.

Other than that, I really enjoyed this a lot and played it all the way through. I think I got to the end (spoilers I guess but there's a single image) but there was no option to replay or an indication that the game was indeed finished. However, on that screen, I could still hear myself being able to use my tools sometimes if I left or right-clicked. Overall, this was such a charming and comforting experience.
@random-storykeeper Thanks alot, I appreciate the in-depth respond and playing it all the way through. I try hard to play everyone's game all the way through and give it alot of attention since that's what I would like people to do with my game and I feel like you've done that, so thanks. It's tough to tell whether people enjoyed your game since everyone's trying to be nice, but I hope you did have some genuine enjoyment with the world and thought it was "heartwarming", also indeed, the ending and bad collisions was me running out of time haha. Thanks.
@benisu For the story of the game or reasoning for cleaning the air, I did think about it...but didn't really know what I wanted it to be. I figured maybe so wild life could come live there, I decided against having it be where the main character would live...so yeah, I guess I did leave it kinda blank haha.
And I have noticed for some reason the picking up items is a problem, not sure why...I blame Unity and not me haha jk.
I did wish for a sprint button during times I had to backtrack. :stuck_out_tongue: Aside from that though, I really liked the concept. It starts out really strong with the intro! I liked the voice acted story. The colorful visuals were by far my favorite. Great job!
The visual and the intro was really fun. Gave me super good vibes. The voice acting was good also. I really enjoyed it!
I like how the game encourages you to manage your handheld inventory to expand that limited airspace. Good job.
Oh!! I really enjoyed this one! I really like exploration games and I feel like this game did a great job of being one! I was really invested in finishing it!
I see a lot of effort put in it! I adore this entry cutscene as well your humor and voice-acting! I think they really do benefit your game a lot. I also like the main mechanic and I really enjoyed having to pick two instruments for the next day - I feel like this mechanic has a really good planning aspect to it? Though near the end it would be just a little bit annoying, since there will be a very little objects left to clean, for which of those a little irritating keep starting new days. I also liked how interactive choosing in instrument for the next day and literally going into the next day was! The only thing at first it was extreeeemely confusing, what I was supposed to do and where to go - it could have been a little clearer. Later on I would also worry a lot that I would start a new day without picking an instrument up - some of them were really close to the bottom, so it was really worrisome. I also see you worked on sound effects for using instruments which is great! I wish there was one for picking one up, maybe.
Overall it was in fact a very good game! You surely know how to make them engaging and fun! The only thing is left to learn is how to polish them!! And I'm pretty sure you'll get a hang of it in the very near future!
Thank you for your great entry! Please keep making games and have fun with them <3
Nice game, Funny cutscenes and VO. Took a moment to figure out what to do, then it turned into a mini-metroidvania. I like the MS-Paint art, but was a little put off by the way the trees overlapped. I found the milk without needing to go into the desert, never found a shade thing, and I was a bit annoyed that as I found the float and used it for the first time to the north, that I was just immediately met with another gate. I liked the idea of planning your day, and taking the tools you needed for the day. I think it would have been nice to keep score of the days passing, just to see how many I used, or to try and improve efficiency. Good job overall!
Great game! Good job =)
This is surprisingly fun! I wasn't expecting there to be such a large game world, with so many tools to find and use. The crude graphics and sound effects are very charming.
Once I got to 100% air cleanliness, it took me ages to figure out how to reach the "one last thing" I needed to find. It's also a bit clunky when you try to switch tools, you have to try and wiggle around to get into the exact right place that the game wants you to be in before it'll let you.
Overall, though, good job! I enjoyed playing this.

Sorry I kept getting pestered to wrap up early. Glad I was able to witness the glorious ending!

Wow what an amazing take on the theme! It is super creative and the gameplay was great. Great job on setting up a story as well.
charming cutscenes. Very methodical gameplay, retracing your steps every day, which I think adds to the vibe you're going for. Having cutscenes in a Jam game is impressive af. Gameplay wise, I didn't feel super challenged, and for a game that mostly relies on movement and item interaction, those systems didn't feel super satisfying, weighty, or well tuned to me. In a game where you do so much walking, I think it would benefit you to make the movement more satisfying. Tuning those curves about how fast the character skids to a stop, gains momentum, etc.
very cute game  it was nice and relaxing, definitely in my top 5 despite being quite easy. It was all about the vibes
