Hilarious and creative! The timing of everything was done very well. Certainly stands out from the other games I've played.

Very good game, would buy from this man
It was really fun and creative, a simple idea but very effective and really well performed !
lmao, funnies game so far. Having mold is a good reason for prescription lol
Wow, the game is super, I really liked the recitative!)
A game that is very funny from beginning to end, resembling a rhythm game in form, but also paying attention to what is said to make a choice
I really like the art direction and now im scared about cats with mold :(
It was hilarious and super fun! I had a great time playing it, loved the song and the cat pictures. 10/10
Game of the year, it’s not even debatable.
Good execution of a simple concept, and really hilarious. The twist on the second level had me laughing _again_. The slides in the deck were on point, the deadpan delivery of lines... Easily the most funny entry I've played. Well done! :tada:
Really good humor, also some banger rhymes. I had so much fun playing your game. As others have said, I also like the timing of the game, very clean
Absolutely amazing game! Who do I need to talk to about investing for my moldy cat?
i was jamming so bad it was sad when his pitch ended, i miss the guy.
forgot to say that im glad you included dogs as well at least for 2 secs
ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE GAMEEEEEEE, the theme was a bit forced, but the games so good its worth it! so much fun!
Top marks for humor and creativity, this is so cool haha. I kept saying "and we do prescriptions if your cat has mold" all the time just because it was hilarious - despite losing points. Nice jam! I left yearning for more
I remember playing You Call The Shots in a previous Ludum Dare and I was wondering if you guys made a new game. This one is great and the idea is super unique. 5 stars again.
I got an A+ on the first one and I got away with it on the second one.
One of the best games I played at this Ludum Dare.
Creative and fun! The song is hilarious. Loved it!
Incredible!!! Such a hilarious and well built game, only complaint is I wanted more! I'm sending this to all my friends
A genuinely funny game and a really well executed idea. Lots of hilarious little touches (squeaky shoes). Good preparation for going on Dragon's Den.
This was absolutely hilarious, and fun to play. I would love to invest in those sunglasses for cats - where can I invest?
Jokes aside, I thought the songs were great and super well done, and the jokes are absolutely on point. If I could give more than a 5 for humor, I would. Great game!
LoL great game. Funny and fast
I had an issue on chrome where the audio was garbled: on Firefox it worked fine (I think that there is a generic issue between Unity WebGL and Chrome)
Fun and creative, it took me a while to get the hang of the rhythm, but I was doing great by the end. I though it was done after the first song, and was delighted by the second. Very funny, GG.
Hahaha this is great  the failures were great, stumbling over words and stuttering, as well as me telling the jury that I'm guilty at the start of my defence.
It's always a problem with rhythm games, but I only got to see bits and pieces of the funny slides as I was focused on delivering the words with the right inflection. I still got to listen to the bouncing beat though
Nice job! Would invest in sunglasses for cats.
This was really fun, and DELIVERing a speech is a great spin on the theme :). Maybe I just have no rhythm but I found it pretty hard to anticipate when I'd need to go up or down--might be improved with a bit more of a graphical indication. LOVED the mechanic where you have to decide which words make sense on the fly (to avoid saying things like "your cat will die")--very creative!
@kromeboy that's a shame, we did develop this on chrome and it works fine for us (tm)- we're using FMOD for audio and it's quite likely running up against limitations, either network streaming limitations or local performance issues (did you try closing a bunch of browser tabs + ending other local processes?). Thanks for the feedback! FMOD will be tamed!
@dougggggg You should be able to switch track quite late and in time to the beat and it still count as a success. Though I think you're right, perhaps there's something extra that can be done with the UI. If only we had more tiiiime :D
Loving reading everyone's comments thanks everyone! Glad you enjoyed it :). Looking forward to trying out your games x
I've been going through creators whose games I liked in previous jams and I have to say I'm not disappointed. This game is just as crazy as the last one I played.
I was thinking about using the theme to "deliver" a speech, but I couldn't think of a way to do that in gameplay. This implementation is really cool, having two audio tracks in parallel that you switch between and pick which one best supports your case. And it's very expandable to more writing/songs.
My only note is that I wish there was more visual feedback for when you should switch between tracks if you have to go up and down really fast. I tried to do it on-beat, but would get tripped up by words with multiple syllables. And it could use some audio and visual feedback for when your score goes up or down, like you get in most rhythm games.
Fantastic. 10/10. My team bounced around the idea of a rhythm game but discarded it; this has made those unrealized dreams come true.
@choo By the way, our project uses FMOD, too and we had some major audio issues at first (on Firefox and Safari only?), but in that case it mostly turned out I had forgotten disable the option to load banks at initialization (sigh). In your case, it might be more to do with the number of streaming assets...? I had some mild crackling when I played it, but nothing major. Sometimes adjusting the buffer size can help (but in a low-latency situation like this, may not be workable), and also telling it to explicitly use JavaScript audio rather than leaving it on auto.
lmao audio, humor and graphics are 10/10
funny
you have made a perfect game, because it might be the funniest game i've played since warioware. amazing. audio was perfect.
graphics... well i didn't get many of the cat images because i was enjoying the words going past too much. the gameplay is obviously pretty easy but it doesn't matter, it's all part of the joke. to me anyway :-) the david tennant dude was wonderful, i guess AI generated?
Thanks for all the nice comments everyone :)
@benk yes all the graphical assets are AI-generated apart from the UI and WordArt lol. Definitely aware of ethical issues surrounding AI art, but I felt more comfortable in this "photoreal collage" Monty Python world, that still took a lot of fiddling/animating etc. ! Our man was generated after many prompts of "anxious nerdy businessman in his 40s with messy hair" or something like that. And then his face was animated to the voice using Studio D-ID (you may have seen this used on those Balenciaga viral videos). Thanks for your question!
That act 2 is exactly where I guessed this game would go. Perfectly logical next step. Really liked the humor in this one, well done!
I would buy sunglasses for my cat and this game.
