I think you are on to something but I think you have to encourage the player to bungy more instead of spam clicking which seems a superior strategy at the moment :)

This was very very fun! I really enjoyed the sort of physics-based Vampire Survivors gameplay, mowing through a bunch of cones with my giant saw, spamming the anchor buttons to keep me swinging like a possessed yoyo. I noticed that the "heal %50" perk seemed to heal %50 of base health and was less useful late game, and although I would see the vfx of the pumpkins getting harvested, after a few moments the sprites stopped spawning to show me where they were. Not that I really needed to know exactly where pumpkins were, though, I just kept swingin' as hard as I could. Had a great time. bungeepumpkinharvester.png

So first of, really fun idea and something I hadnt played before, so kudos. The game is however currently way to easy if you spam click. Maybe you could limit the user input initially and have that upgradable as well. Also, after a while I was collecting invisible pumpkins. But other than that, really fun entry!

Really nice game! The idea is pretty cool, and the mechanics are nice. Simple to understand, hard to master.

Probably it is a bug, but my saw would bounce like crazy with no reason defying all physic rules I know of. This harvester was an unstoppable monster. The camera was also not very smooth, and as it followed the CrAzY harvester it was very hard to figure out what was going on.

On the other hand, these mechanics were really fun and I have to say that I enjoyed it very much, especially the funny sfx. It was a really nice game, excellent idea and implementation. With a little bit o polishing, it will be perfect! Kudos!!

Very fun to get the saw flinging around back and forth at high speed. As others pointed out a lot of invisible pumpkins got collected, I imagine just an issue with their billboard rotation towards the camera.

oooh, this is super fun! and so satisfying. the movement scheme is so fun! i couldn't really understand whether i was supposed to kill the cones or not, but 'evil cones of evil' had me nearly laughing out loud. there's something here that's really fun (and of course the sfx is the cherry on top). a solid submission!

@zonoxx I've actually tried it with cooldown on anchors at first, but it was counter-intuitive on the level "I clicked but nothing happened, the game is broken". And I decided not to limit players so they could limit themselves if they wish. Swinging with precise timing can make you much faster than spamming. So everyone can select personal moves and style.

@greenphox yeah, it is a bug for web version and I even know why it is happened (~30 wav sounds and game load a new one only when it first time played, so that create a micro-lag and that mess up physics). So if you play for a while the CrAzY mode stop happening.

This was fun. I like that you did something different with the controls, although I ended up just spam clicking wherever I wanted to go. Didn't seem to be much reason to bungee/slingshot. Maybe with things you have to avoid you can force the player to actually try to control it a bit, maybe walls/rocks.. (The cones were never really a problem). It might also be cool if you get extra points/exp for having high bungee speed when cutting pumpkins, that could encourage players to make more use of the bungee mechanic. Good job overall!

This is nice idea! I wanted to play more but the camera got a bit too much for me, with it following the saw. The physics movement is fun though!

Really like that you did something new with the controls. I wasn't entirely sure if my saw was working or if I was supposed to press a button to hit the cones with it? Or is it a case of needing to hit them at speed to avoid taking damage? Either way it was fun to move around and collect experience. Well done.

What a bizarre but amazing game! I love the crazy movement mechanic. I found I could spam 1,2, and 3 and click and pretty much go where ever I want LOL nice work!!

For everyone saying how easy it is to move with just spamming 123 - yes, it is. But I prefer not to limit players with artificial walls like cooldowns or minimum distance between anchors. Players can create restrictions themselves. My game is more like a toy than a game - you can play with it in any way you like. Slow movement is also satisfying, or moves synchronized with swings. Experiment!

Nice usage of the theme and twist on the genre. A bit easy to cheese by spamming all pins at once, but that doesn't stop it from being fun to play.

Interesting concept and the sound effects are 10/10 lol

The bungee physics was a bit weird at times but it added to the charm. I could see this working with the purpose of crazy physics or tuning them a bit more to be more strategic and slower paced.

If the crazy physics is what you are after maybe reducing the bungee count to just 1 and having it based on momentum / slingshotting across the map would be cool.

For the slower paced it could be more puzzle like and deliberate on the bungee positions, similar to when you get the multiple point grappling hooks in Terraria and have to hit them in certain orders to maneuver to a spot.

Fun game, although currently it seems you can just sorta ignore the whole "bungee" angle and just spam 1-3. It might work better if there was a cooldown, or maybe if you couldn't place the anchors too close to each other.

So I think this was a really interesting concept! I did find that it was far more effective to just click quickly on one side of the screen to move. From the beginning, I think the leveling up happens too quickly. Even after I stopped clicking all over the place to slingshot myself across the screen quickly and just moved normally, leveling up interrupted gameplay frequently. Also, I clicked the slow enemies perk every time it appeared, but they never seemed to actually go any slower. Overall, I think the idea is really cool, and it was a neat take on the Harvest theme. @augmotic @quadtree @ginathepotato yes, you can spam-click and it kills bunging. But you also can not-click and play in any style you want. I was thinking about cooldown, single pin but decised against it. Because it is jam and better to allow people play however they want. I was trying to create something like a toy, not a game, if that make sense. Pure fun from mechanic, satisfying movement and all that stuff.

Хорошая игрушка получилась, но через 5 минут начинается морская болезнь )) Мне кажется, нужно дать игроку возможность выбрать какий именно из маркеров двигать, ну или где-то в интерфейсе показывать, какой именно из них будет сейчас перемещаться. Но вцелом, особенно для compo, отличная игра, респект! 5/5

@sublustris а там можно жмакать 1-2-3 для красного-зелёного-синего якоря, вместо мышиного клика.
