Man, this is really well-presented for a jam game! The crumble effects and the shaders are really slick and the tutorial's a nice touch. I do wish there was a quick restart key (I might've missed it), but only because it felt real good to play and I wanted to get back into it!

Ohh)) Really nice, beautiful and joyful game! Good flow, simple but well done mechanics. Really like it!
I really like the style and the tutorial was charming. Don't be fooled by that though this game is hard, mainly because of the 10 second time constraint. The dash was a bitt hard to use and certainly made me feel rather "fumbly". Overall a fun and interesting take.
I like the tutorial before getting into the main game. I never managed to collect all of the coins, the green and light blue ones are hard to get before the inevitable crumbling. Overall, I really enjoyed this game, you have to think a bit tactically.
I think it would be cool to see an effect that shows the timing rather than a color.
Also, the texture overlay shader is really cool.

super fun and super stressful! i loved the tutorial, super cinematic and lovely!
Incredible! Fun fast paced movement and maneuvering. Tricky course design, great sound design and those visuals! This is fantastic, and I am proud to be able to call myself almost slightly better than below average after playing it!
Very difficult. Very cool
fun although a little lagggy

Awesome game! How did you manage to get all that done in 72 hours?? :D The movement is super fun and the levels have just the right difficulty to be challenging but not too frustrating, well done!
And I'm wondering, did you create the levels in blender?

@recyx Mostly ! The first level was bashed together out of an island and a couple buildings modelled in Blender, but the 2nd and third level were made entirely in Blender and only partly re-arranged in engine. The fracturing of everything was done in Houdini using a simple Voronoi fracture :)
I enjoyed this game. I almost immediately forgot about the dash ability which made the game seem unforgivingly hard until I remembered about it and then it was a nice level of challenging. It can be somewhat frustrating to miss a coin in an earlier area and then be unable to complete the level and have to wait until the level completely falls or jump off the edge.
It might be more interesting to have each block or piece of terrain break 10 seconds after you step on it. I think there are some interesting puzzle type things that you could do with that. But that wouldn't exactly fit with the every 10 seconds theme.
I like the shaders and the breaking effects. They do a great job of making simple shapes and colors look good.

Super fun and intense! I love how the music accentuates the breaking of each chunk and how tight it gets, especially in the hard mode. Would love to see more levels :p
Absolutely loved the game! Really enjoyed the world break effect, as well as the crumbling sound effect! -Peter

This was so polished! I really appreciated the opening tutorial. It taught all the mechanics in a very interactive format. And I must say, all the effects and textures were excellent.
The movement felt a little floaty at times, but maybe I needed to improve my jump so that I didn't overshoot the target (and have to wait for gravity). It was smart to give the player limited dash -- did you decide this because the player can actually reset their jump off of walls? It felt a little like cheating to me, but I needed the help, lol.
Your transition screens are a real gut punch XD

@hawkin haha you can thank Nolram for all the snarky text!

@greenpixel no doubt! Also, I have to say I appreciated the music and how you built the intensity at the end of the timer!
This is an interesting take on a first person runner/platform. The visuals are really nice, though made me a little cross-eyed after a while. The tutorial was also a nice addition, though it was possibly a little too verbose. It would also be nice to see the full sequence of collapsing colours in the level, rather than just the next colour.
In all great job, I hope you'll continue to expand this in the future!
Took me a bit before I realised the dash was in any direction and not just a horizontal one. Very fun, nice and clean visual style and the movement feels good. I do feel the level design could be a bit more forgiving on one ways but I managed to beat the full thing and I had a good time doing it. It's not too often you see good first person movement platformers!

Truly excellent game! Definitely one of the best looking games in the whole jam. I really like the shader you used and the colour choices were so vibrant and nice, and dont even get me started on how good the breakaway effects look! The player controller was excellent as well. I think it would have been nice to have the colour order showing on the side, although I did notice the font colour for the timer was indicative of the breakaway colour, but that realization only came on level 3. The only thing that mars an otherwise amazing game are the condescending remarks for dying. I feel it crosses the line from jokey teasing to just plain mean; I don't think you should take it all out it certainly gave the game some character, but I think it needs to be dialed back a bit.
Wow - like others before me the production on this is super great. Feels solid for putting it together in a weekend! Love that you injected humor into it, and also contributed to the polished feel. I wish there was a simpler level between the tutorial and the first level as it really jumps a LOT in difficulty, but hey, when time I tight it can be hard to find time for these things and what you provided was a great exploration of your movement system and a great use of the theme.
