Nice art!!
It was hard to determine what to do, or what were the consequences of my choices. I like the atmosphere though.
My record is 4400. I like that everyone doomed no matter how I try to be a good player.
@nulldreams Thanks! @bunnybones Yeah we tried to explain a bit in the tutorial but it's still a bit obscure @yaroslav-kravtsov Nicely done :) We felt like dooming the player whatever he does would fit the theme nicely
Took me a bit to figure it out but now that I get it I think its pretty fun
Overall fun, though pretty hard to understand what sanity does.
I love this game. This game let me reflect on what the theme UNSTABLE can go. You did a good on design this complex narrative choice system, and it works well. I feel like playing This way of mine or Frostpunk, where my choice matters and could make the situation unstable. Nice work!
A fun strategy game with great art style. But the text on the card in the H5 game is very small, it would be great if it were bigger! It's already a very strategic game
Really cool game. Atmoshpere is nice and progression is well put, taking off slowly and getting harder and harder as we're losing every leader. The sanity mechanic should receive some love though, as it's not very polished and it's relation with the cards is not very clear throughout the game. Great job! (and btw, I made 5200 :) )
@anthony-servedio Thanks, we indeed should have work the tutorial part a bit more
@noctiphobia @concker-88 Indeed the sanity mechanic could be reworked a bit, we would definitely have went in his way if we had a bit more time! (And congratulation for your 5200, you beat @clement-carre who is our second developer!)
@guinytime Thanks, we increased the text a bit but it's indeed still a bit small, I advise playing in full screen for a better experience
@foursay Thanks a lot! I remember that we spoke of these 2 games during our brainstorming so I'm glad you're comparing it to them, that means we managed to transmit the mood we wanted!
I like the space theme... but the game didn't catch me.
It was a bit difficult to understand the underlying game systems, but I really like the concept! I see potential in this!
I like the game! The art is really nice, and the music playing in the backround really sets a good tone. 9/10 great game!
Took a minute to get used to, but after a minute it became pretty interesting! Good job!
Really cool game! There's a little bug where you have to click 2 times on a card, and i didn't quite felt the sanity mechanic, but overall, a really cool and original game!
Thanks for your feedbacks!
@florianbald Sometimes the same event happens 2 times in a row and since we don't have a transition between each one, it looks like the click didn't register
Enjoyed it so much :) Such a cute game. Would love to have a longer version of it, maybe on Steam. Great entry!
Really great idea and I had fun, though I wasn't too sure what the end goal was or what the consequences were. I really enjoyed the management of cards and choosing what to do a lot. Some of the UI was a bit confusing to figure out at first and could use some extra polish and UX, but overall it was a ton of fun!
Great idea. The effects of the actions are a bit hard to gauge. I was never sure why exactly someone died. This is worsened because the sanity gauges are hidden behind the main UI, making them easily missible. Otherwise I enjoyed this, its a great narrative toy to play with and when expanded on could make a great fully fledged game!
Wasn't really sure what the consequences of my actions was but the art was very nice and the mood seemed to fit the game quite well. Fitting BGM as well. Good Entry. Keep it up.
Interesting concept, felt a little like Reigns (in a good way). The game is extremely punishing and I felt that my choices didn't really matter and I was at the mercy of the rng. Having cards taken away so often felt really bad, and many crises required my entire hand of cards with very little replenishment.
very interesting game liked it.
Nice art and good spin on the unstable premise.
@nivbeth Thanks a lot! I would love to continue working on it but we would have to see how realistic the idea is
@pascone @poweranze Thanks, our UI was indeed a bit messy, we wanted to improve how the sanity was displayed but we lacked time, definitely something we will remember for the next jam (or if we improve the game, who knows)!
@cedric86 @firequake Thanks, we indeed should have make a better tutorial to explain a bit more how choices works! The "crisis keep pilling" thing was intentional but maybe it was a bit too much, I guess we should have rig the random a bit on that part
Really interesting game. I think it would make a really cool table top game. My only gripe really is that sometimes reading through the various cards was a chore since they wouldn't always display correctly. Maybe the ui could use a little more development. But all things considered I'm very impressed with that was accomplished in the allotted time. Nice!
First, I really adored the graphics. They were very impressive and created a nice atmosphere.
On the actual gameplay I'm a bit torn, I think there is a solid foundation, but it was hard for me to identify it. I felt a little lost through all the numbers and stats on the screen, so that I didn't really have a good overview about consequences of my actions.
And what was the gallery menu entry for? It stayed greyed out.
My highscore was 4500.
Thanks for your feedbacks! The UI part would indeed need some polish
About the gallery menu... you can actually access it! But for that, you need to get all the endings
Dandy game! I love it! But I think you need to polish UI)
