To anybody struggling to get started, there's a double jump. To @antom and team, other than the hidden double jump i loved it. keep it up!

The game is really cool ! I think it deserves a bit more polish on the checkpoints, sometimes i just respawn into the void as the platform disappears right as i spawn Overall it was really nice and the music was cool aswell
@popertots @llaumegui Thank you very much for the feedback, we are very motivated to see that someone has played our game
Cool game! I'm terrible at it, haha. I really liked the minimalist pixel art style and the secondary animations on the players face were a nice touch. Congrats on your first Ludum Dare entry! :)
Nicely done. I like the 1 bit art style and the reduced viewport. It led to a nice aesthetic.
I agree that the respawns could be a little better. I think I would have liked the disappearing and reappearing blocks to be solid until you jumped on them and then disappear rather than the randomly blinking in and out after jumping on them the first time. It was a little frustrating to jump towards a block off the screen and not know if it was going to be there or not.
I also felt that the players controls were just a little too floaty and loose for this kind of precision platforming. The top speed was good, but turning up the acceleration and the drag I think would go a long way towards making the controls feel more responsive. I felt like all my deaths were more around slightly over or undershooting platforms because the acceleration was a little too low, but maybe that's what you were going for.
Overall, nice work!
Sweet pixel art!
Liked the feel of the game, good choice on the art and music! Liked the variety of platforms. I would prefer a bit more snappy controls for controlling the character. I thought it was fun though overall.
The art and chiptune music is fantastic! The mechanics were a bit floaty but once I got used to it I had a blast playing this entry.
I love the art style and setting. The double jump is nice to have even as a way to save myself if I messed up a jump that should have been a single jump. The jumping could be fine tuned to make it a little less floaty, but nice job for your first entry!
Double post because of network issues. Sorry!
Triple post because of network issues. Sorry!!
@minibobbo Greetings! We greatly appreciate your feedback, it helps us to improve in the next version of the game.
@minibobbo Thank you so much for the feedback! We most to take al the suggestions to make a better game on future updates!
That's one perilous river crossing! Love the style, and the song is a jam.
A pretty fun game, despite how tricky the respawn points / floaty physics can be at times. You've done a really good job with the art and the music!
(Also, I love the Aztec Mythology theme, very original)
@ericfreeman Its incredible that you have noticed the detail of the character's face, it took us a bit of work to do it :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
@lychee Thanks for the feedback!! we'll improve the controls :video_game:
@ericfreeman Thanks bro!!! We appreciate your nice comments, and it's amazing that you could see the animation so small hahaha :D
I made it across! It would be nice if the blinking platforms stopped blinking after death, and there should be a message explaining the double jump. Enjoyable platforming, and nice art + audio. Looking forward to future updates!
@lucdeligne Thank you so much bro for the feedback! We will work on that points to make a better game, and for us it's incredible all the support and the comments!
@boxedmeatrevolution Thanks for the Feedback Boxed! We appreciate the comments, and the Blinking Platforms and the Layout to indicate the controls, we will fix them soon!!! :D
@animawish Thanks for taking the time to try our game
I loved the art style. Well designed, simple pixel art is my favorite style and this was very well executed. The platforming was a little floaty, but I enjoy a challenge. Great job!
I can't cross the bridge on the first screen... :-( But the game is fun and looks just great! The loading screen is cool, the font, the sprites, the animation... just great graphics! <3
The controls were a bit hard with using shift to run. Maybe you could swap it, with the character running by default and have shift make the character walk instead. I liked the music and the 1bit art style!
@salohcin894 Thanks for the Feedback bro! Yeah we must to improve the controls to make a better game!
Fantastic art style, really enjoy it
A nice, short game! The pixel art and chiptune music are good choices! Who did the music? I really would love to know the song! I also like how the water does not instantly kill you allowing you to retry from another low platform! Though that does allow you to just skip the level by swimming to the end. Had fun seeing the art and music but the jumping needs to be more thought out. Maybe the moveset of the character can be more than just jump and move. As well as maybe a lower priority on tight platforming?
Overall, good work!
Nice aesthetic, don't know if you've done the music but it's cool. The game could really have a nice atmosphere with more polish, like less floaty physics and let the game be more reactive and energic. Ah and actually you can cross the river just by swimming in it ahah
The overall game seemed really polished. I liked the art style and the music fit the atmosphere nicely. I do think the very first area could have been a little bit easier since we're still getting used to the controls. That first disappearing block was really tricky to start off with, maybe it could have just been static blocks at the beginning. Good job!
