It was pretty funny. The idea of having arguments as RPG combat got a laugh out of me. Realized to late that health carries over from the last battle though.

Good job! Interesting concept, tough i have the impression that the same sentences get back too often.
It's a solid game. The visuals and interface work really nicely and the conversations are fun. The game mechanics feel a little bit one dimensional since it feels there aren't that many meaningful choices to do in the debate once you learn the basic rules. It could get real fun with more fleshed out cards and some synergies between cards.
Really funny, and beautiful illustrations! But would agree with the other comments before me
Good game. But the battles start automatically. I would like to initiate battles myself (with the people which I hate hahaha)
Great entry, the core idea is super striking and so is the art, but it lacks the depth to be engaging for more than a few minutes. As the player you have already exhausted all mechanics after the third enemy and there is nothing new to keep you in. If you would expand on the core ideas you could have a real winner on your hands. One major minus for me is the lack of transpareny in the enemy actions and that I could not see the values on the cards without hovering over them.
I love the concept! Visuals are cool, with a real identity. I'd say it lacks a feeling of progression, you get around the cards you have quite fast and the game feels quite repetitive after a few minutes.
I think it'd have been a nice gateway to a lot more humor if we'd been able to see the enemies' sophisms.
As it is, it's also pretty easy to exploit the game.
Great design combined with snappy gameplay! I think the design of the UI and the cards is definitely the strongest point of this game. However, I did get a little bit bored with the main combat after a while. The enemies are a little bit too similar, it would be nice if you could see them playing cards as opposed to just dropping your health. But I did really enjoy the humour in the card's text.
I really respect the amount of writing that went into this. I wish it was clearer which comment triggers the encounter, maybe it could be highlighted in some way. Soundscape is pretty barren which is a shame and combat lacks tactics imo. But, it looks great and is pretty funny and none of the issues are things that can't be fixed. Still, good job!
There definitely needs to be more warning for when an encounter happens. My first 15 seconds were me trying to figure out what to do and then suddenly a battle.
I noticed that the first turn was always 4 attacks and a heal. Since you can't win in the first turn the heal gets overwhelmed, so you just lose eventually regardless of your performance.
I do wish there was some music to go along with the sound effects.
I'd say your UI is the strongest part of the game its done.
Fun concept, but a little undercooked. There's something irresistible about chipping away at an opponant's stats, so that was fun.
One issue was that the shield and buff values didn't always seem to work as expected, or more likely, the CPU opponents' strikes weren't communicated well enough. There were times where I had 4 or 5 shield value but a single attack from an opponent would take out 4 of my hit points, which implies an 8+ DMG attack(?). Deciding whether to focus on either damage/buffs or shields/hp on a given turn was hard because it wasn't always clear if adding more shields would even help.
Seeing which card the other player just played would help resolve this confusion (that is, if it's not a bug). Actually, revealing the entire hand of the CPU player would be a good thing, too, allowing for some risk/reward tactical thinking.
Overall, a silly concept well made!
Необычная идея. Не понял, правда, как выбираются битвы, видимо, случайно. Было бы круто расширить игру, добавить реально интересные темы, что-нибудь еще. Спасибо! ^_^
Really cool concept. One thing is (maybe because I'm using a touchpad) it scrolled really fast and I couldn't take in all the humour. Overall really cool.
Great idea which deserves to be explored further. It would be great if there was some music to add to the feeling of the anger growing inside you though. So if you decide to explore this further, here are few suggestions from my side: - The "offending" posts could start changing color or their outline to indicate they irritate you and you're about to go on your epic rant pretty soon - While playing card maybe show the post thread itself growing with your replies and theirs each round - Perhaps some cards could be played as combos producing even more epic replies in the fight - Winning should produce some reward which could be used later on, maybe to heal or as a pre-battle prep - Some response combo could maybe draw others into a debate, you know, fueling the anger of the masses, starting the usual epic social media battle - Getting noticed on the media and based on your debate style (good arguments or just pure trolling or hating) could attract attention of authorities or the companies looking for an influencer giving some permanent bonuses or deteriorating effects
Cheers! Keep up the good work :)
Interesting concept! Nice color palette and stylish graphics.
Some remarks: 1. Loud crash sound after silence scared me. Expectation: game gives audial feedback from the beginning to tune the volume. 2. It is hard to find necessary cards: effects are under the bottom of screen. 4K display here. Expectation: you can see effects without hovering mouse over cards. 3. Gameplay is pretty monotonous. Expectation: new cards, effects or skills give the game feeling of progress.
Nice entry!
nice concept!! i feel like executing an abstract idea like this is a lot harder than it looks. especially balancing meme-iness with gameplay. i think some of the timing could have been adjusted - i couldn't tell which person's tweet i was beating up. i also wish your turn automatically ended when you used all your action. but both minor things, nice work overall!
This was really cool. The humor was top-notch, and scrolling through the feed was really entertaining. I wish I could pick posts to attack, but the random encounters in the feed were fun. My only issue with it was that the UI overflowed my screen a bit so it took me some time to figure out how many cards I could play. Outside of that this was really well done. Nice work!
P.S. The art is killing it. Amazing.
Great game and what a concept!
Awesome entry, great concept, just needs a little more variety in the messages and feed. Definitely doable in a day span of time
