Wait...this is actually genius. I love it. I did find a bug where i got my pinball stuck into an area that wasn't unlocked yet

I really like the idea and the game is overall fun to play. Both the music and visuals is all overall pretty good, but maybe the music loop was a bit short, but okay it's not a big issue for a jam game. Overall well done.
I loved this! Innovative way to execute on that theme! Enjoyed it immensely.
This has too be one of the best ones i have played thus far very good
This was really enjoyable. Never before have I, in a pinball game, defeated a big alien boss and literally went to space. Super cool!
@william-corrin Yeah, the collision detection isn't quite as solid as I'd like and sometimes allows passing through geometry if you're going fast enough or if you squish the ball between a flipper and the ground. I didn't have time to look for solutions. If my brain had been a little less fried I'd have at least remembered to add an "abandon this ball" option as a workaround, but... Ludum. :P
Insert fake quarter to continue made my day.
@jk5000 Yup, it's not quite 21 seconds long. Play-testing and level design ended up taking several hours longer than I'd planned, so in the end I was only able to spend 80 minutes on the music (some of which had to be spent consuming pizza rolls, obviously).
@secretjuice You should check out Sonic Spinball. It was one of my favorite games as a kid and is what inspired this.
I encountered some bugs with the physics as already mentioned here, but otherwise this is easily the coolest pinball game I've ever played!
I hate you. I was near the goal but for some reason I sent the ball on top again, and well, it was very bugged and I had to start again :(.
I never played a pinball game where you kill a monster and take a rocket. Better than Space Cadet.
Since a few people have had problems with collisions, I've gone ahead and cranked the physics_fps from 60 to 600. Should clear everything up.
A fun game, but I don't have the patience for this kind of games. But still the game is cool.
I just let a little comment to tell I tried the game and I think I could really like it. Unfortunately my machine seems not powerful enough to run it properly, everything is going really slow. So I will come back later on a newer PC to test it as it deserves, and I will let another feedback and note the entry then. See you later!
@loonydrope It looks like the thing bogging the game down on older hardware was the lighting effects. I've added a little popup when starting the game that lets you choose between high-quality and low-quality graphics, which just iterates through all the nodes in the map and hides any Light2D that it finds. This allows the game to run smoothly on my old laptop, so hopefully it helps make things more accessible!
This was really clever - a very interesting take on the theme. I found the physics a little hard to be precise with, but outside of that everything was smooth and reasonably predictable. Good work!
Ah, I got stuck just above the rocket's spring by not launching at full power and landing on the first one-way block. Fun game though, I always like a unique take on pinball. Unlocking more depth is a cool concept, and I like the twist of having to race back to the top again (even though I died and got reset to the top almost instantly :P) Nice work!
@GogglesKitty: Whoops, sorry about that! I don't even know why that one-way is in there. It serves no purpose. I think I was just so tired that I thought "lol it's an airlock" without any consideration for the impact it could have on the gameplay. Anyway, it's fixed now. Thanks!
bgm and the sfx meshed well together, found myself paddle-slapping along with the beat. neat twist on the classic pinball game. nice work!
I generally don't like flipper games but your game is really fun to play.
This idea was so nice. You desconstructed the pinball game to fit in the theme in a impressive and creative way. Loved to play it and I got really immersed!
Not sure I've ever seen a pinball adventure game. Very interesting idea. I wasn't crazy about how my progress was being reset at certain points. Getting sent to the top and having to wait for the ball to drop got kind of old, and at the end goal; that damn ball seemed determined to fall right down in the middle between those last paddles lol
The visuals are good. I muted the audio though.
Besides the nitpicks, it was fun throughout. Good job!

This was much more than a simple flipper ! I love the fact that you've made something new with such an old mechanic. And a lot of level design elements to, even a boss. Congratulations, this was very fun and innovative !
My only nitpick is audio wise, It's good that there's at least some sfx, ut the overall sound "musicality" is a bit lacking.
Otherwise, very good job !
This was fun I farmed a lot of lives at the one up thing in the start only to realize later that you can simply use fake quarters :D Certain sections become tedious after a while especially if it takes ages to reset just so you get another chance at a shot that would let you progress
Best game so far! 5/5 on innovation. Sometimes I struggled when a left and right flipper were in the opposite configuration, but apart from that, it was great! (I used a lot of fake quarters though)
Fitting the theme with a pinball game is innovative. I like the progression system, and what actually happen throughout the game. It game could have been harder and faster without the possibility to farm 1ups. At least reset the score when the player continues. On my 2nd run I ended up with 200 points (including the end-game bonus).
Wusses credit-feed the game. True gamers™ git gud and 1CC it.
