The mood is on point! Good job

The grafics and gameplay are super slick. Something that could really add to the difficulty would be items that you need to travel around. Overall, nice work!

I got 767! Very fun game! I really enjoyed the time pressure, it made me not overthink things and I ended up developing an instinctual understanding of where to go, which was very fun. The different powerups are also done super well!

Thanks for submitting to the jam.

Obviously you werent going for super modern graphics or audio, but I think your aesthetic was on point. Really great combination of sound and graphics. I enjoyed the different types of materials to dig through and I was able to intuitively read that some would be harder to get through than others, etc.

It wasn't an innovative game but the execution was FUN.

Great job.

Good graphics and musics. I wish you continued success. By the way, I was wondering which engine you use.

fpeg 2021-04-28 13:33

3097 points on my third and final try! Not sure if it's a good or bad score, but I had a blast when playing :) Graphics, sounds and music all blend really well, and the gameplay is easy to understand, yet there is a lot to do and consider when trying to better your score.

I noticed that I got better items early on in my second and third run, which really snowballed my timer a lot :P Is that controlled somehow? The droprate of powerful items?

Great game!

total retro feel, loved the gameplay, very smooth. Had a good time playing it :)

Quite creative idea. Felt quite satisfying breaking this blocks and the art is pretty good as well. It fits the theme well. Good job!

HighScore.PNG I had fun digging and using all the different tools. I wasn't sure what some of the powerups did but didn't seem like a reason not to pick them up. Was a lot of fun.

Very pleasant game. Good work!

jokubasg 2021-04-28 13:45

Very fun and satisfying game, nice art.

Super solid. There is just enough there (three terrain types, four gem colours, three mining tools) to make for a great quick-decision arcade game without overwhelming me with choice.

Very nice little game! It looks finished and most importantly very fun to play. I like the different bonuses around, the graphics is very cute also :)

devastus 2021-04-30 21:18

Simple and effective does it, this was fun to play! And graphics and audio are very fitting for the chosen aesthetics too. It seemed maybe a bit rarer than necessary to find tools/powerups, but that's a minor thing (and maybe just bad luck on my part). Great job!

sleepystudios 2021-05-03 17:20

This was super addictive and I loved finding all the new weirder/whackier digging tools too. The sound design was really good too - retro but not too grating on the ears (loved the new record sound too).

sasashasa 2021-05-03 17:30

Thank you so much. It was nice to once again plunge into the atmosphere of retro games.

noahro 2021-05-03 21:06

Had a lot of fun with this! My highscore is __2124__, I'm happy I got over 2000 :)

niall-chandler 2021-05-03 21:23

That was superb! It was a lot of fun trying to get the best high score I could. (Also, I think I'm your 20th rating, so now you have 20 ratings! Yay!)

nandelind 2021-05-03 21:43

Nicely polished game. The animations are great! I don't know how people are getting scores in the thousands; did I miss something?

dhavavamba 2021-05-12 05:41

The most beautiful game I have played at ludum dare: solid, decisive, refined and fun!

gamebuilder 2021-05-14 12:52

I love games like this — simple, easy to learn, and super-fun. Nearly everything about this game, from audio to graphics to gameplay, feels right on. This is a fine use of Pico-8.

Seriously such a simple yet great game. Well done with everything, really enjoyed it and played it lots of times. An online high score system would have been totally awesome!
