Would have loved to play, but I'm on a mac. Please consider a WebGL version if possible with future games. Looks fun though.

Really cool game with great graphics. Only thing that is bothering me is that swimming up is on space instead of the arrows. Good job otherwise!

Great visuals! But please, do something with hitboxes, stalagmites and sharks superb punishing. Game is neat, but requires somewhat polish. I would play it again with pleasure.
Wow, this art is excellent! That must have been a lot of work, and I think it paid off. I thought the controls were cumbersome at first but I quickly got used to them and found they game me a surprising amount of control. I really enjoyed the boss's animations and also found that they telegraphed the attacks very well - I was able to avoid being hit by the attacks just by moving away from where it looked like he might be attacking. Sound and visual effects when the player hits something would add a lot. My only gripe was the damaging stalactites/mites in some levels - they didn't look like a hazard initially, and the hitboxes on some of them were much larger than they felt they should have been.
thanks everyone for the very kind words abt my art!! I'll admit the rooms were a bit rushed so i feel like the spikes might have been poorly positioned we plan to update the game in the future and we'll take all your comments in consideration!
The gameplay and visuals are great! The only thing I couldn't get used to was the controls. I kept wanting to press "up" to go up instead of space, considering movement was on the arrow keys. I think a small change like that would go a long way. Great Job overall!

Great game! Art is stunning, I'm not sure where you found time for all those animations! After playing for a bit the controls started to feel really good, and I found that the gameplay was very enjoyable. Boss fight was the best part! Only nitpick I've got for you is the same as others mention, adjust those hit-boxes just a tad. I'm in disbelief that this is "pretty much your first game," great work!

DANG YOUR ART SLAPS. Controls were a little weird and floaty so I had some trouble getting into it, but I loved loved loved how looked. Aspirational to be honest. Would love to have some simple music in it, feel like I could have played it for ages like that.

Very good game. The mechanics are simple but it works very well. I was able to complete the levels but couldn't get past the final boss, even though there were only a couple of hits left. I couldn't help but think that some metal song would be a perfect fit with the final boss.
Great graphics. Controls are fuzzy. Why having different buttons for attack and collect, why any for collect at all and one to enter doors - makes it complicated.
@itzemii it was a combination of setting a separate button for testing purposes and then later getting used to it xD but thanks for the feedback, we want to work this game a bit more in the near future and i'll keep that in mind c:
Cool art style and roguelike idea.
Having the attack and interact buttons under the movement buttons definitely makes it harder to do both at once; especially since the swimming up button is in a different location as well.
I liked the graphics. I also liked being able to choose the doors to go into.
Olá amigos brasileiros! Gostei bastante do jogo, é bem desafiador e legal. Vejo que a interpretação do tema que vocês tiveram foi bem criativa. Os gráficos são bonitos e o som é ok. A jogablidade é um pouco complicada de se entender no começo, mas depois fica tudo mais natural. Foi um excelente trabalho! Parabéns e sucesso para vocês!

Excellent artwork. Like others have said, the hitboxes need tweaking and the controls reworked.
Controls are very frustrating. Also, music would be a nice addition to the game. Great art style tho!
The game is really hard. You give very little to the player and expect them to kill an immobile enemy with like 20x your health and that kills you in three hits. Controls are also really clunky. Other than those, I really like the visual style here and the sound effects fit very nicely. Music or ambient music woould be appreciated
