Wow that got really hard really fast! I managed to catch 4 on level 2 but I kept getting a space crab by mistake! Really requires a lot of patience, timing, and some quick reflexes.

I like the artwork for the space farmer in particular. Very challenging but I like the idea in general :)
I had caught almost all things, when i made one mistake and had to restart the complete level! That was super harsh :)
So, I like the game, but i had to quit in level 2 ^^
enjoyed the game, the aliens are very cute
could not finish level 4, even tho i had caught 5 Grongsnippers one time and several times 4
edit: in the menu it shows that i have completed the level
Very cool mechanic and it is well executed!
The only remark I have is that the mission goals were not correctly detected. Several times I had to catch more than was stated at start of mission.
Overall very cool entry, thanks for the game!
A "fishing game" with spacial cow! It is so cool! Simple but beautiful art and a fun game! I lost in the 3rd phase for 0.1s! Animal was in the roller but the time over!
Great idea. I like your interpretation of the theme.
What an original interpretation of the theme, well done! Nice entry, I had fun.
nice idea.. but those controls are really really hard..
I enjoyed this, and I particularly like your take on the theme. The difficulty level is pretty harsh though. I had a near perfect run in the grogsnipper level but still failed. Actually I'm a bit confused by that because I thought I caught four of them... In general the lasso is a bit hard to control, and of course that's a part of the intended challenge here, but maybe even just having some visuals showing where exactly the lasso is landing would help? Not sure what the right thing would be there.
@pekuja Thanks for the feedback! I jsut fixed that bug where the last grogsnipper doesn't count, sorry! Thank you for playing! I was going to improve the controls for the lasso but ran out of time! :)
@dusho Thanks for the feedback :) I was going to improve the lasso controls a bit but ran out of time!
@evogengames I had a couple of bugs which meant that the levels completion criteria were not detected, I have fixed them now in accordance with the rules :) Thanks for your feedback and for playing, it is much appreciated! :)
@seskon Thank you for your feedback! Sorry about the bug where the last creatures to be captured were not detected properly - it is fixed now :)
Super difficult! I'm not a huge fan of the retro aesthetic, but I think it's done very well! I like the menus, and the art style works really well I think.
✔️ The simple graphical style is very effective.
✔️ The loop throwing mechanic is quite unique and one of my favorite takes on the theme so far.
✔️ The different types of challenges and the different enemy types kept things fresh.
➖ I wish there were more levels.
Very literal interpretation of the theme. :) I like that each level was pretty different.
Good job on the game! Very good art style!
A very interesting little game, I am very happy to play
Those animals are awfully cute <3 idea is refreshing, but levels along the way are a little bit too tough in my opionion (this time pressure). Had fun playing it!
Neat game! The art style is really cute. I didn't realize you had to target their necks, but it makes sense. A lot of variation to keep the game fresh, too. Good job!
Nice! It took me some time to understand how exactly to handle the lasso, but afterwards I enjoyed it.
The lasso has an excellent feel to it when it snags. I really enjoyed using it, only wish there was more content! Maybe a randomized level creator - randomly generate objectives and the creature mixture? Well done though, really unusual mechanic!
Man I really had a love/hate realtionship with the core loop mechanic by the end. It was the quintessential easy to learn, difficult to master mecanic. I beat the game, and by the end, I felt like I had improved my loop-throwing by about 1000%, so that shows the game teaches you as you go. Very nice.
Honestly, the game is pretty perfect as is (and my scores reflect that), but I always like to provide some point of constructive criticism. On Level 3, where you had to catch 3 green guys in 20 seconds, I lost multiple times because I had the last guy ON the conveyor belt, but time expired. I know that 20 seconds is 20 seconds, but this felt 'unfair' to me from a game-design standpoint, as I can't control the speed of the conveyor belt. It might as well be 17 seconds because it takes about 3 seconds for the belt to complete its circuit. Just my 2 cents.
Overall, this was a great entry :)
Finally an accurate Space Cowboy simulator game! I myself have a ranch of blubberbobs and let me tell you something – it gets pretty boring out there! I mean from time to time you have to deal with passing herds of grogsnippers, but other than that it's a pretty calm life. Well now, thanks to you, I've got something to play in my spare time)
I like a lot about this game. The animals, the atari-esque 2d graphics and audio. I even like the idea of the mechanic, but I found the unpredictability of the loop to be a little uncomfortable. I never really felt like I had enough control of it to get good at throwing it. This could be fixed with some sort of targeting system perhaps.
Loved so much about this game from the aesthetics, concept on creatures you put in are brilliant!! I wish there was a bit more visual cues from the space rope but that is all!
I enjoyed that quite a bit! I like how the levels are actual separate challenges and don't feel like the same thing over and over again with some parameters tweaked. The little creature handbook unlocked after completing the game was a nice touch.
One thing this game is missing is a restart button; Especially in those timed sections, sometimes you know you messed up, and you can't do anything about it besides waiting for the time to run out. Another thing that felt off is that the collected creatures only counted after the feedtape carried them into the slot, which added a buffer of 1-2 seconds to the timed sections.
Nice job overall!
