This is all I could have ever asked for.

Good game.

Funniest game in the jam that I've played so far -- just wish that there were sound effects though

eamon-kane 2020-04-21 04:12

The tone was spot on but I had some trouble with the camera. Would love to see this refined down a bit!

simin 2020-04-21 04:12

I think this is my favorite in terms of how it actually plays. It's unique, funny, and the aesthetic fits everything about it! It's also really fun to break by drawing stuff everywhere. I think this is worth mentioning because most games aren't fun to break.;) I think this is currently my favorite one I've tried.

billnotic 2020-04-21 04:15

The gameplay is stupid, but in a fun way. I do wish the graphics were better, and maybe some sound effects as well.

tubadude99 2020-04-21 04:18

It's quite fun, and I like the humor and the D&D references (yay nerds), but it's really hard to aim the magic missile. It would be much easier if you aimed with a single point, then the missile fell from some point above it. I really have no idea where to drag the line to get the missile to go where I want it.

kokiriboots 2020-04-21 04:18

This is a true work of art haha I love it.

macdoom 2020-04-21 06:17

Most creative game of the jam so far! I had a really fun time. Great work.

PS: Is rocket jumping allowed? Cause its hilarious!!

a-dot 2020-04-21 10:30

There is so mush content for just a game jam ! I just passed almost an hour on it !

The ragdoll is a little buggy but I can't really make it a bad point as it adds to the charm. True art.

Thanks everyone for the kind words :)

@ukumeme i had planned to voice all enemies, but unfortunately ran out of time :(

@eamon-kane the camera definitely needs work (surprised it works at all)

@tubadude99 glad you like the nerdy references :). single point target makes a lot of sense. I can't actually remember why I used vector targeting

@macdoom oh yeah - it's encouraged

@a-dot gosh thanks for playing for so long! honestly had no idea long an average playthrough would take

bakemonomori 2020-04-21 19:59

I tried playing this, but in a few minutes I somehow managed to get stuck in my own structure... my skeleton won't come back. A funny concept brought to life in an hylarious way; I would have liked more refined graphics tho.

vesper 2020-04-21 20:56

Mwhahaha. I reached the end and feel immensely satisfied. That had just the right level of frustration to be addictive, and though waiting for that little shambling skeleton to get himself together can take an age, somehow it's part of the charm. Really fun to play, well done.

thedoctoroftime 2020-04-22 06:02

I like messing with the wizard

khud0 2020-04-22 13:30

Wow, I have no idea how you pulled this thing off in terms of programming and it alone deserves my respect! :) It seems like missiles don't always go in correct direction though. :c

asgardheavy 2020-04-22 15:09

I think the mildly janky controls and ridiculous rag-doll of the skeleton are a big part of this game's charm. I couldn't swear it was deliberate, but it *seemed* deliberate.

The graphics read just fine and I really enjoyed the 'spooky' skeleton rattling. Great job -- it was a lot of fun!

thebreakfast 2020-04-22 19:54

Reminds me a bit of Cortex Command! Cool idea, and very ambitious for a game jam game but I think you did a good job. The barrier drawing works well, the missiles can be a little finnicky, but overall I enjoyed it.

matthewi 2020-04-23 04:33

ow oof my bones

Super funny I'm still laughing at "I haveth no eyes sir please be to help skeleton." Clicking and dragging to create obstacles out of thin air is super creative and really fun. The only thing I found off was the direction the missiles went in. Also is there a way to permanently kill the goblins? I found that they kept getting back up.

walnoot 2020-04-27 20:33

Great game, very charming and the humor was on point. I liked that there was an unique, QWOP like skill too it. Even when it was frustrating, it was still fun to draw yourself out of the problem.

red-ash 2020-04-27 20:34

I hate those goblins, they keep bothering me, they even managed to drag me down somehow. This game has an odd charm, thats for sure.

madbarron 2020-04-27 20:58

Very funny! The writing and gameplay work well together. It's just a little too frustrating for me. The wizards were very tough and I gave up at the traps :(

sharbelfs 2020-04-28 21:21

the skeleton movement seems a little weird but it's actually quite good, I create a lot of rocks and he managed to walk on most of them. One nice thing I did was to create some rocks around the goblins to kill them. Nice game, congrats
