**Known bugs: ** Spotty collision detection.
Not enough time to animate Alcindor.
Glitch when traversing gridspot 0 in Y direction.
No compass, so finding the keys takes a while..
No description of the "door" home: It's a block with circle on it.
No legend of all items:3 potions types, 3 enemy types, a healing stone, water, fire and so on...
Keys: A is fire. X is water, Y is stone. B is quit level.
The game is way too hard.
The project was way too ambitious for the 32 hours I could put in to it.
So I suggest focusing on the game play element rather that pointing out bugs...:-)

I agree with your comment. Maybe a little ambitious for a short game jam. Either way, it was worth it for the effort and learning. You are already familiar with the bugs, so you already know what needs to be fixed.
I kind off like it! Curious as to how you did the water effects?
I like graphics and isometric mode, but it's difficult to understand what can i do, and after death sometimes i appear in flames and die again, it's very frustrating, otherwise the engine is good for game.

Oh man as you said it is SO HARD :') I really tried, and I was like "uh, I suck at this game", and then I watched your video and... I was doing fine after all :'D
So yeah it may not be perfect, but still, congrats on making it!

Game doesn't want to start, because OpenAL32.dll is missing. Is it possible for you to include this file in the download, or give a link where I can download this library?

@griz The OpenAL installer is included in the zip file.

Norton Antivirus doesn't seem to like your game D:
What is this OpenAL installer? I'm a little jumpy installing dll's to be able to play game jam entries unfortunately. The video looks kind of cool.

@tommislav It's a sound driver used by a lot of the games here. So you'll probably need it at some point. You don't have to trust me, get it here instead: https://www.openal.org/downloads/
you did a great job, especially for a one-man jam :) it's a nice little game
Music is great and I love the water effect. I'm afraid I was never able to find a single key, despite walking all the way to the right side of the map. I would've liked to experiment with the potion mechanics but they were relatively rare and I couldn't seem to aim them into the fire or water without dying immediately.
Difficult to understand the mechanics. But the design was neat!
Well done!

Nice game, I really like the water effect. Took ages to figure out how the spells worked. The buttons seemed to just do nothing but make the number go down really fast. I initially thought you were supposed to use them on demons. Perhaps you shouldn't be able to waste spells where they will do nothing. Also once I did figure it out, it was really hard to get the cursor where I wanted. It was always too close to the character so I would die before being able to transmute a tile. Moving up+left or down+right seemed way faster than other directions which felt weird. Probably to do with the projection. Spawned in the middle of lava a few times. Oddly in one playthrough before I figured out the spells, water seemed to do no damage. Found loads of keys that time but it eventually crashed.
Nice textures and animations, and +++ for SFML! Nice to see someone who's not using a game engine :)

Neat. I really enjoyed the water and fire. Game had a pretty nice, consistent visual feel that I enjoyed. I couldn't ever figure out how to successfully use a potion to do anything useful, seems like usually they did nothing, once in a while they left a water spot on the floor, but I never managed to defeat a demon :(.
