Nice game! It kinda feels like playing a game of speed-chess against a timer. I can definitely see potential for expanding the mechanics too. I found the slow bomb-diffusing 'robot' to be the most reliable, even if he was slow. Definitely felt like sacrificing my other 2 pretty early and often.

Great job, I actually ended up playing this one for a while. I didn't really use more than one robot at any point though, so maybe tweaking the mechanics to make the game punish you for losing the other robots would be good so that the player is encouraged to try to keep them all around (although I understand that sort of defeats the point of the whole sacrifice theme). Just something to think about I suppose. Nice job overall though!
First up, thanks for the tutorial! It really did make my life easier. The little 'one-step' bomb guy is, well, da bomb. Though, I did enjoy zipping my 'bishop' around to collect those gold points more quickly. If you refined this a bit and pushed it to Android, I'd probably be playing it for quite a lot of time. Well done!
@benbusby Thanks for playing! Yeah, the original idea was to have each character with a different ability so the selection of who to continue with would mean something but I quickly had to de-scope features so I don't feel I got the balance quite right.

This was a really fun one, I see a lot of potential in the mechanic.
Fun idea! I ended up with one robot and made it to 185 points before getting stuck.

It didn't take long before I ended up sacrificing my dudes, and it was still challenging to keep moving. Fun game!

Nice idea!
Pretty interesting Gameplay, but its a bit difficult to control 3 cubes at a time, so you mostly end up choosing one cube and fast leaving the other, which is finally a great including of the theme ^^ After that the game is well made, simple and easy to learn, great job then ! :-)

Interesting idea. The gameplay is simple yet challenging. The only problem I see is that controlling the three cubes is too hard so you loose two of them too fast. I thing it need better balance, that's all. And maybe better graphics. But overall great game. Good job :)
I like the idea, even if I typically don't like frantic clicking games. What if you made the playing field only move if one of the bots move? That would give me time to consider my next move :) Easy to pick up, but difficult to master, as much action puzzles should aspire to be. I agree with the others this would work well on mobile, especially since your playing field is vertical.
This would be a great mobile game. Perhaps there could be more variety in robots? (getting a random 3 every game)

Well done! Good game. The pace of the game seems a little fast which ends up being more about fast clicking than strategy. Also I suppose most players are going to just choose 1 robot at the start because eventually they won't be able to handle more than one. Maybe the mechanics should give the player a valuable reason to try moving the other 2 robots as long as possible.
Yo, this is like some weird mix between an action game and chess, I like it a lot! It's a very novel concept that I think has some potential. Here are some suggestions for improvement if you decide to continue working on this.
1. First and foremost, the bomb sound effect scares the shit out of me every time it blows up. It's a REALLY harsh sound in contrast with the soft muted "setting" sounds of your bricks. Consider either changing the bomb sound or revamping what you want your game to sound like so it fits in better. :)
2. Maybe remove that "Default Unity Skybox" you got there. ;) I'll excuse it since it's a game jam, but for future reference it's pretty easy to change that one background. Even any sort of solid color would be less distracting, I think.
3. I personally think the camera moves WAY too fast at the beginning to manage all 3 bricks at once. I would start a bit slower, and save the frantic brick management (which I still think is a fun aspect) for later on in the level. I really appreciated the ability to fool around in the tutorial for a while (and thanks for putting in a tutorial in the first place!) but I still think the player needs some time to get used to how to manage 3 bricks at once.
4. Currently I think your game has an optimal strategy of only using the Blue brick and ignoring the others. If you're fast enough, you can just jump from bomb to bomb for massive points, at which point the other two bricks become kind of a waste of time and resources since every time you move them, you're not moving the blue guy to get 5 points per bomb. Pretty standard balancing issue that plagues most game jam games anyways, so it likely just needs some time for testing and tweaking. :)
Sorry if it sounds like I'm bashing your game. I tend to be a lot harsher towards games I like, since I would love to see them improved and expanded. I actually really did have a lot of fun with this one, and I hope you have plans to take it places in the future!

Simple, but oddly intense. I could see this being an addictive mobile game.
@willbl3pic @bart-huylebroeck @zachz I designed it to be a mobile game but didn't have time to do a build. I may continue the project and turn it to a pure mobile experience. tapping probably works really well for this style of game.
@coleslaughter Thank you for the great feedback! Interesting you found the blue block as the optimal. I found that keeping the "castle" piece to the end and keeping the single move "pawn" early was how I got my high score. Getting the 5 points for the bomb racks up quick. The speed increases by time not score so try racking up as much as you can early, then just survive.
Thanks again for the feedback!

That was a very fun game! I like the idea of sacrificing and during couple of my play times I usually sacrificied the blue as the first as it was very hard to manage all 3 of them and the blue was the slower one :)
