Don't know if I'm doing something wrong, but can't figure out the controls.

qazikol 2018-08-13 00:21

@jackou Ahh, sorry; forgot to put that in the description! Or game... It's just the spacebar for everything!

viater 2018-08-13 00:23

I'm really unsure what I'm playing? it looks good and sounds good but I'm not sure what I was doing

kiotikid 2018-08-13 00:24

LOVE the aesthetic! The hand drawn characters/animation/background with the music creates a very mellow atmosphere. Very cool little story game. Not exactly sure I know what is going on or if I get the backstory from it, but very cool nonetheless.

fadex 2018-08-13 00:26

@qazikol i figured them out! Lovely artstyle and music. So chill!

haley 2018-08-13 00:41

Awww...This is so cute.

jackou 2018-08-13 00:54

@qazikol ahh :D mhm i simply didnt hit space, even though i myself created a game with only spacebar as well :D - now i got to play it. LOVE the art and music =) nice short story!

A very different concept of what a game is, glad to see such an entry here.

The art looks beautiful, and while short, the music makes for a really relaxing experience.

cobear25 2018-08-13 15:06

Very beautiful. Not super fun, which probably isn't the point. But I love the art style and the mood the music gives.

qazikol 2018-08-13 15:14

@cobear25 Yeahh, ahah; if I could've opted out of "Fun" then I would've, as off-putting as that may have been :')

Short, but very sweet! Honestly, I was a little blown away when the guitar came in. Something about the transition caught me by surprise and really struck a wonderful feeling. Fantastic job.

I think it's really beautiful. It's very soothing and I really love the traffic sounds. Great to see this kind of entry!

I admit I didn't "get it" at first, but I came around. The art is really pleasing, and you do an excellent job of invoking a mood. I wish there was a little more feedback that hitting space bar actually does anything (some vignettes were more clear than others).

qazikol 2018-08-13 16:36

@rumor Ahah, yeahhh; the idea was meant to be that the impact of your actions would decrease with each new vignette to help communicate the whole "comfort in the insignificance of yourself and your actions" theme, but then even the first one allowed very little interaction, so that progression didn't really work...

nikasxirtla 2018-08-13 17:45

Pretty different game. Art and sound design is amazing.

garygreen 2018-08-13 18:21

I really liked that original piece of mellow storytelling, and liked how you varied the control even with just the one key. Great art style too. :)

donitz 2018-08-13 19:06

I feel ya. Living in the city makes you feel like an ant.

cary-stanley 2018-08-13 20:58

Art is really nice, and has a great mood. I like the simplistic story telling 🤗

jchaplin 2018-08-13 23:27

Love it! Beautifully done.

stateoff 2018-08-14 02:02

Nice work. Refreshing and one of the few games that has simple controls ... really simple. Keep up the good work. Would love to experience more of these.

somuch 2018-08-15 08:25

Calm and very personal. I really like these narrative pieces and wish people would make more. I really wish it was longer though <3 Does it really end after the stars?

tuism 2018-08-16 15:46

So I guess that's it?

It's a nice sentimental piece. Great art and music.

I can't argue that it's not a game :)

jern 2018-08-19 09:50

I loved the audio. It was sweet and complemented the feeling of the piece really well.
