A surprisingly tense game for one about growing flowers. It was really nice to play and I love the way the flowers look as they grow. I couldn't see anywhere that told me how much money I had, which would have been nice, but a really great entry. :)
I found myself forgetting about selling all the flowers and just growing a ton and buying up a lot of plots. Very fun, didn't expect that from a game about growing flowers haha
Loved this game. The flower graphics are beautiful, and the chill mood created is super enjoyable. Wish there was some laid back music in the background to garden to. The selling mechanic didn't make a whole lot of sense to me, and how the price was what we 'thought' it was. Seems like the safest option was just to wait until the people who wanted to buy my plants for $2 were replaced with higher options, or just use those plants for seeds instead of purchases. Also the space upgrades gave multiple options, but I only needed to choose one to beat the game- I'm assuming they were for continued play afterwards. The game wasn't super on-theme, but it didn't get in the way of my playing experience- over all one of my favorites so far.
Aesthetics are great, although without sound the animations are a little too subtle. A post-jam version with sounds and some nice music could add quite a bit of enjoyment. I actually think you handled the theme well, too, even though you say you missed it. (After all, if you lose the garden, you've run out of all your space!)

Great game! love the chill mood of it. Agrees that even a little audio will make it that much better.
The flowers are beautiful, especially the growing animation, and the idea of discovering new seeds makes the game interesting to play. Some ambient music would have been nice and sometimes I hit the "buy more space"-button accidentally.Unbenannt.png

That was a lovely game! The growing animation on the flowers were beautiful and the game was very relaxing. Some music would go a long way for a game like this. Well done!
Beautiful graphics and UI. Definitely agree that music would've helped the mood but very cool regardless!
It's fun. A bit confusing that you have to switch between the different modes. Would be a bit better if the interface was more streamlined.

Really interesting and zen gameplay. I once made a growing garden gameplay 1 year ago and couldn't figure out how i wanted the to grow, seeing this impressed me because you got it done in 48 hrs, well done. It's really beautifully done, we don't even know it's 3D (it is right ?). Couple UI problem both technically and design, the input seems off, you should make it more Mouse click friendly for more zen attitude points !
A nice, relaxing game. The UI kinda throws you off a bit, having two modes and having to use arrow keys to switch between different seeds - a fully mouse-controlled, streamlined UI would work wonders with this. Some music and ambient sfx would be the icing on the cake.

@anstabo @devastus thank you for the feedback! It is 3D (flat petals oriented in 3D). In hindsight, it would be easy to just add arrow buttons to the book, but I guess when time is of the essence these things get thrown to the back sometimes :|
It's really hard to interact with the flowers, I klicked them several times, but some of them seem to not do anything.
Super cool game! I love the visuals and the strategy it takes to win. Some chill music would really enhance the mood.

@fenderbate yeah, another friend of mine had this issue, but I can't seem to find out why, and it doesn't happen often. I hope you had some fun with it though!

I also had the 'cant click on flowers to sell them' thing where I'd get stuck, but really nice game otherwise! I really liked the graphics for the flowers!
