Farming meets pong/arcanoid - very unique combination!
Very good combo. Pixel art could be just better but it is a fun to play game
Very cool. Lots of fun!
don't quite understand how things worked, need more instructions
Thanks, you all! @roy I've added more instructions on this page, hope they help clarify the mechanics better.
Interesting combination but it is kind of a struggle to find out what is what and how it works
This was really enjoyable, but it did take a minute to get the hang of what was going on. Not the actual controls, just the mechanic of what each selection actually was. Instructions on page were a nice addition.
I liked the audio in the game, helps give it a super chill vibe. Overall enjoyed this.
If you have time, you can also check out my game as well https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/slime-battle-royale
it was an enjoyable game good entry and congrates for doin it in 10 hours
This is AMAZING game. Enjoyed it so much, can't give more than 5 stars, sorry :D Even it is not something I'd play daily, but it is so much fun, I play it more after LD is over. Good job!!!
Thank you all for trying out my game!!
@Firesplash Entertainment @ManBeardGames Hahaha, I really need to learn how to keep things simple or make proper tutorials. Added that to my to-do list!! Also gotta practice art, better art might convey things more effectively, not to mention I rushed this while working on another LD41 game in a team :D. I had plenty of fun even though I didn't do much due to the lack of skills on my part.
I can't make music well, but I wanted audio in the game, so I had an idea. The audio consists of an array of 7 pitches of some instrument selected at random to play everytime a ball hits a tile, in the main menu though, a timer is used instead to play a selected pitch. Guess what, it was done in 5 minutes using SunVox, then another 5 minutes to code in.
@LERPish @mintarcade Thanks!! Hahaha, guess I've found my niche? I wanna add more stuff to the game, like rocks, pickaxe, different crops, seasons and pests, and.... so much more but for now, I'm gonna focus on learning how to make proper in-game tutorials, better art and balancing the difficulty.
And oh, oh!! I'm also gonna play and rate all your games when I wake up since it's past 3AM now over here and I gotta sleep!!! Those who like farm games, check out other LD41 games like Crash Crops and Harvest Doom you guys!! @Firesplash Entertainment made a farm game too!! So did @mintarcade. Whoa farm games everywhere. Can't stop making farm games!!
A bit hard to get the concept, but the game is so chill and the visual are good enough. Nice entry :)
HAD TO READ!!! NEVER MAKE ME READ!!! No, just kidding, it was difficult at first to understand so I read the manual which was very good actually. The concept of the game is very clever but it needs a bit of polish, and like you say yourself, a simple to grasp tutorial. Nice work!
This was very well done, the only real problem was figuring out what to do. I didn't want to read a wall of text just to play a 5 minute game, so the video was a nice addition. Thanks for making an HTML5 game!
It's definitely a challenge but one that I'm more than happy to go back and learn. It's always great to have a game that makes you frustrated but leaves you feeling rewarded when you've figured out the next step. Well done!
Oh man, not sure why I like this so much. But I do.
Simple graphics, **but satisfying**. Simple sounds, **but makes soothing music as you play**. Simple gameplay, **but deeper than at first glance**.
It really shows how you can't just look at a screenshot and judge.
Interesting idea! I'd say it perhaps needs some more visual clues to let the player know they're doing something right.
I couldn't understand the instructions, but I enjoyed the music and graphics.
This is pretty cool, but I couldn't understand how to do a lot of the things. I was able to plant a few beets and get one, but I don't know where to turn in the beet.
Edit: I booted it again and got audio to work! Not bad! I also figured out - you have to feed yourself by putting completed beets in the left, and pay more money by putting completed beets in the right. Interesting!
It tooke a while to get what I was doing but in the end it's a nice concept!
Challenging game! I included it in my Ludum Dare 41 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WIle2FLl2RM
Good job! Cool game!
I left my rating of your game, if you can leave your feedback in our game, Witch's Escape.
I hope you continue with the project.

Very nice game.I like pixel art .Good audio PS. sorry for my bad english
This really fulfilled the theme better than a lot of games I've seen this LD Jam! A really great entry. I found it tough to distinguish between the second and third options you had as balls once they were jumping around on screen. More on screen prompts or feedback could really help polish this title up. Good job, keep making games!
