I didn't find any download button nor link on the page linked. Did I do wrong, do I have to buy glasses, or did you forget something ? By the way, if you used Unity, why not a web version ?

@LeReveur OMG! Thank you for the notice! It had nothing to do with you, apparently it has I who needed the glasses:nerd:. All downloads should be up now, even a web version:thumbsup:.
This game is a short but beautiful audiovisual kinda meditative experience. The colors are striking, the enviroments are very distinct and you can just sit back and watch it. In regards to gameplay there isnt much of it. It's just clicking and forcing you to periodically switch the enviroments which is nice and makes you see all of them in a very natural fashion.
The only problem is that there are no upgrades to your basic axe. And thus you have to click more and more for each upgrade of the other tools without getting that feeling of progress and satisfaction. And there also no ways of making it automatic. Pretty much all clicker games get to a point when it just plays itself and you just watch numbers go up. Well, there is nothing of the kind in this game, so my personal opinion is that is lacks this integral part as a clicker game.
And again to repeat myself and to end on a positive note. This game has very pleasing and relaxing audiovisuals. Wish the game did not pause when clicking off its window, so I would be able to hear the soundtrack while writing this feedback :)
@detectiveLosos Thanks for the positive feedback man, especially the soundtrack! The time restraints didn't allow for the more complicated aspects of clicker games like you were saying but we are planning on expanding the game more to bring it up to standard :)
@detectiveLosos Going from what @Fynzyme said, we were planning to add automatic upgrades, but there was a problem with having the autos take away from your health stats and we didn't really want it to go that way. We also kinda didn't want you to ONLY use automatic upgrades so we held back on adding them in. If we continued with this game we would definitely add them in, somehow… Anyway thanks for the feedback!
This was great. The visuals were fantastic and the audio worked so well. I can see how cool this would be with more dev time to iron out the gameplay. Great job!
Well done, team! I love the pairing of the gorgeous pixel art with the music that changes to the mood of each scene. I feel like the game has so much potential to grow from here, if you add more features and iron out some flow issues. I had a hard time figuring out how much my upgrades were helping me, and wanted to see different upgrades for the other resources.
Overall, this game is beautiful and moody and I loved it. Once again, well done!
That art is absolutely gorgeous - great silhouettes and bold monochromatic scenes that, along with the excellent music, really evoke a different mood for each activity. On the other hand, the interactivity is a little bit lacking - it could use more audio and visual feedback for the clicks, and a lot more indication of how the difficulty is increasing and how the upgrades are helping to counter that difficulty. Also, if death is inevitable, as I think it is (?), a scoring system and some scope for approaching the game strategically would increase the replayability a lot.
Overall a really great entry, and I look forward to seeing more from you guys in the future.
I think that some automatic upgrades would break the mechanic of the game, but instead of that, I suggest upgrades that minimize losses on some aspects. For example, a "blanket" upgrade that minimize dehydratation while resting, a "shoes" upgrade to reduce power needed to hunt, ect. Those upgrades wouldn't have levels, they would give a fixed bonus, but you can have severals upgrades for each gain type (eg. the "shoes" upgrade can be followed by a "bow" upgrade for the same effect, cumulative). Whatever, I found that playing this game as is was very pleasant, mainly thanks to the meditative music, and surprisingly a little challenging : I tried to reach the higher level for the three tools, and I sillyly lost my second game because I forgot to watch my hydratation bar. Good job, I liked to play this game. Edit : also, as the "spirit" bar can go down without dying, a win condition or a score can be make with it, for example by gaining levels of illumination each time it is fully filled (starting the game from zero, and restarting from zero each level gained).
Wow, that's a very clever "streamlining" effort of the survival genre. I like how the game is very easy to understand even without any text. The mood is excellent, so are the graphics and the audio, and the game deliver a very entertaining experience.
I feel that water is waiting depleting a bit too fast when hunting, especially as it's very slow to drink even with a upgraded scooping tool, but I'm just nitpicking here.
Congrats for your great game!
Ok, this is probably one of the best games I have played so far for this LUDUM DARE. I'm not sure if it just me but the overall aesthetic of the game was totally amazing. The different theme music for each different stage was really nice and I am amazed that @Fynzyme managed to make all this amazing music in this short amount of time. @Zuezazon, the graphics of the game were just exceptional, the graphics are beautiful and are done really well and I will repeat what I said before about how amazing it is that you did all that in a short time. @tyranosaw the overall gameplay mechanics were also amazing. I could find very little flaws with the actual game. You guys should all be very proud of the game you have made. Great Job :)
If I try to refill my hunger then my energy goes down, but if I try to refill my energy then my hunger goes down. I feel like I'm fighting a losing battle, but I guess that's the point? Interesting concept though and I like the art.
@LeReveur Thanks for the constructive feedback dude! You have some really cool ideas for this game and I think you may have inspired some further aspects of this game in the future. :)
This mood created by the visuals, colours and music in this were really impressive - it is clear (as you guys said) that you created something simple but put time into polish and quality. I personally don't enjoy clickers, but I enjoy my time exploring your game. If it wasn't for the audio and visual quality, I probably wouldn't have enjoyed as much so really good job. Note: thats nothing personal, that's just the genre of clicker games. I did enjoy the concept of balancing the difference resources and think it suited the clicker nature. The incompatibility could be questioned, though naturally idle and survival don't often get put together.
This is an absolutely beautiful game. I love the simple design, it really adds to the mood as a whole. This is a great entry. I feel like it fell a little short on the theme, I've played quite a few survival idle games, so I didn't really feel like the genres were incompatible. However the game as a whole was very well done! Great job!
Fantastic visuals and audio, albeit not always suited for its purpose. On the occasional visual feedback and audio track, I'd go back to the drawing board to achieve a more cohesive and enjoyable experience. If this game can double down on what seems to be its philosophy, it would be worth paying for.
Nice game but my finger hurts
super interesting concept! but really hard to get anywhere, at some point it feels like i cant get the average of the food, water, and energy to go up; even disregarding knowledge it seems to go down consistently. other than that, i really appreciate the separate art and music for each area! cool concept
Really cool idea! It's quite hard to balance out the resources correctly and clicking gets quite tedious, but I really like it! The art and music really make it enjoyable.
I really love the art, and the sound. Would love to see this expanded!
