We had the exact same concept when we discussed the theme, we even had the animal thing with nuts :P Now to the game itself, it fits the theme greatly and I love the aestetics and feeling. Where I think it falls a little flat is that the gameplay. Moving slower is just not alot of fun. I think to make a theme like this work better, you would need to add some strategic level to it to make it an interesting desicion. As it is I did like the game for the look, feel and theme alot so great job :)

Cool concept and great art style - sadly it crashed for me a couple times (web player) Also, I didn't quite understand what the animal noises meant? Very unique look and fee - good job!

Awesome unsettling art style. Agree with @PartTimeIndie that the game is lacking interesting gameplay.

Really cool graphics and sounds! Needs something else than slowing down movement to ramp up the difficulty though.

I like the graphics, difficulty is also quite challenging once you have to defend against hands. I'd like to see more to the world than just two locations though.

I also like the graphics, but I agree with the rest of the comments that it's very difficult to defend against the hands. I felt quite overstrained collecting my nuts and get rid of the hands every time (because there are also so many of them in a short time!) But a very unique gameplay :3

Really funny, it fits the theme really really well, it took me a bit of time to realise where the sounds were coming from and that I could close the holes, loved the art and the idea, well done ;)

very unique, cool visuals and sound / music

Unexpectedly intence gameplay, good job! Well done and polished, also amazing art style. I had a great fun just looking close at every corner of the game locations.

The art is great, the details were what I enjoyed most. The anarchist squirrel, and the monster sound effects were my favorite part. I kept imagining you recording them and it made me smile.

Very interesting visual style. It is simple, but really fun game. Makes you worry about the future of squirrel :)

Really great art and fun gameplay, the theme/setting fits well with our current weather/season here haha. I wonder: The "criticism" of anarchist ideology and the squirrel's hypocrisy are intentional, right?

Beautiful aesthetic choice, reminded me of woodcuts. The game is simple but interesting, congratulations for the work.

Linda escolha estética, lembrou-me de xilogravuras. O jogo é simples, mas interessante, parabéns pelo trabalho.

Seems the theme is a common one. I made a different type of squirrel carrying nut game called "My Nuts Weigh Me Down". I went for a different style then you guys though. Your art style is really cool, and I dig the B&W look. I felt the gameplay is a little simplistic though and needed more mechanics. I went with a little platforming and throwing nuts at enemies to break it up, but anything else would be a nice addition.

Nice! I love the art style, and the steady progression of difficulty/decrease in speed as you pick up more nuts. The audio is fun sounding, and i found the slapping noise a pleasant surprise. It's pretty innovative for this theme, although as far as the effects of the theme, speed is a pretty common thing. I did the same! Overall, great game!

Graphics are gorgeous, and I like the challenge. My only complaint is that it's too easy to accidentally get back on the elevator.

ayame9joe 2017-12-24 09:42

I don't quite understand the gameplay. However the art is so brilliant.
