Interesting mechanic. Wasn't sure how it related to the theme.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD39 → Rocket Barrel

Interesting mechanic. Wasn't sure how it related to the theme.
The graphics are really nice
Oh, Donkey Kong barrels! :D
Fun game, but it might go well with a quick description regarding what to do - I spent a few rounds just clicking the barrels as soon as they appeared, thinking I had to collect them all.
Good job, and nice entry! :D
Cool art style but idk how the theme works. Music is nice too. Looks like it could be a good mobile game.
It took a little to understand how to play but eventually I got a hold of it. I really enjoyed the graphics and the audio the most! It was fairly challenging to get to the other barrels. Good job!
I liked it, the graphics are nice! Keep making games!
Reminded me of those old egg catching flash games!
But this is unique! Really lovely game. The graphics are pleasing and the sound fits well. Good going. Congratulations and good luck!
Very nice
Nice game. The music was good and the graphics was also good. My only complaint was that is was to hard. My record is 6 barrels. Awesome game overall.
Unique game for sure! I found it a bit difficult to understand if the barrell I was aiming for was moving, or if it was the austronaut that moved sideways in the air. Some kind of feedback, or reference graphics would have been nice. But overall, a good game!
This reminds me of that time over years ago when I threw my SNES controller against the wall!! Your music soothed me, and the frustration didn't build to that level. Your world is siiick
Hey, cool game man. I got to 459 before I missed one :) (on the third try). It feels good once you get a hang of it. I think some variety in speed and size of barrels would be a nice improvement. Also the planets were pretty cool!
Cool game, but I'm still uncertain how the theme fits.
Very simplistic idea, but it works out well. Nice little game that could be added on and improved in the future :).
** Fun **
It's a bit like Doodle jump. I had fun for five barrels or so. :p
** Innovation **
I've seen many things like that before..
** Theme **
For me it's not that you get the Theme just by putting it in your story. The gameplay should somehow match the theme..
** Graphics **
Did you watch the Barrel tutorial of Brackeys? :p Graphics were okay. Liked the planet in the background (:
** Audio **
Liked the background music. SoundFX were okay.
** Humor **
-
** Mood **
Mood was okay.. Music and planets made the mood..
** Overall **
For me it was kinda easy and monotone. But I had fun for some time. Good Job (:
Very nice little game - the mechanic is easy to understand and the gameplay was quite fun from the beginning. On the top of that music and sound effects were nice. Good work.
Haha this is pretty good!
I love the setup.
Pretty decent. It did feel a bit slow though.
Love the polygon shaped Earth! I like art style.
I really enjoyed the mood that the game conveyed. This reminded me very much of all those Donkey Kong Country levels. I did like those, so this hit some nostalgia points for me. I also liked the plants going by in the background. I made it about 200 (meters? Feet? space units?) before missing a barrel and plummeting back to Earth.
Suggestions: The hitboxes seemed a little strange. The were forgiving, but maybe a little too much. Some variation in the barrels would have been nice too. Some that move linear, some that move more quickly, in a circle, quadratic lerp, etc.
Bugs: None found. Nice!
Graphics are nice and clear, gameplay easy to pick up, and I like that it's quick to restart. I found myself wanting a little more variation, and ended up taking risks that caused me to miss. Your take on the theme is a little bit of a stretch, but nice and quirky.
We streamed your game with Danae plays on Twitch. :) Here's a link:

Cute little game, I wish there was a bit more variety in the barrel types / jumps / angles, etc etc. It was interesting to see the various stellar objects in the background, a little motivation to try to get further :)
Nice job!
