Mood and art are amazing, I only wish instead of a score I could read like pseudo-comments explaining why some pictures get more likes than others.

This is the most aesthetically pleasing game I've played so far. It's a great idea for a game and it was done really well, it matches the theme perfectly. Very well done!

I uploaded my gameplay of this game on youtube, you can find it here

Thanks for being part of the stream :)

Nice theming, cute graphics and SFX. I have never found photo taking games to be all that enticing but this is a nice entry nonetheless

I love this! The art is charming and wonderful, even the credit screen was really cute and well-done. The notifications were great - I love your fake app names. My only complaint is that the internet didn't like my many cat photos as much as they should. :yum:

Wow, nice idea and good thing twisting the theme. This was a peaceful experience (dammit the notifications always screwing vacation time, hehe). I love the art and the details, was fun to find the little locations in this game.

I don't understand the likes in my pictures... but since I'm unable to do it in my own Instagram, it is almost a real experience!

Great game, goosd luck!

This is my favourite game from this Jam so far! My only complaint is that it's too short, I want to take pictures of other places in my vacation and get tons of likes!

deconstructeam 2017-08-08 09:11

I like the idea a lot! You're supposed to be chilling and take some pictures but the game is super stressing... just like a vacation in real life! Loved the mood. Good work!

Oooh, the game is kind of cool, like it ! The graphics are wonderfull ! However the likes in the pictures at the end seems just... Too random.

The humor behind the notifications, the dialogues are soooo cools, also the ambiance provided by the musics / sounds is just suuuuuper chill / zen.

Again, I love it ! :)

The game certainly has a certain ambience to it. It is aesthetically pleasing and consistent. I enjoyed the little touches, such as the palm trees blowing in the wind and the yacht sailing by. The music was a nice touch too.

I think I need a refund on that phone though as the battery runs down far too quickly.

I got as many likes on pictures as I get in real life :) I too would like have some information why some pictures get more likes than others. At moment it seem bit random. Sounds and music created nice atmosphere, graphics felt bit rushed. Overall interesting idea and fun little game!

Looks like a really great game, but unfortunately I get an error whenever I take a photo :disappointed:, copied below. It might be because I'm playing it on Windows but running on a Mac, but what I can see of the game looks genuinely great! Well done!

Love the idea. That's a nice little game, close to reality, haha

Geez if your phone is going to run out that quickly, you might as well keep it plugged in. :P I do find it amusing at the end, when the charger sneaks in to charge the phone, and you get to take a look at the photos you took. It seems as though sometimes, the entire picture is not captured and I only get half photos. The blurry ones with 1 like was funny though.

It was quite fun to try and figure out which photos were the best to take, all while managing the multiple messages and dialogue popping up on screen. The art is great and the mood set by the music and colours is fine, too. All around, I really like this game.

This is a nice idea. I think the main improvement that could be made would be having some way to know why certain pictures get more likes than others, so that it's possible to try to take good pictures - and then have some way that those pictures can be ruined, such as if a bug flies into them at the wrong time.

For example, my highest rated picture was a picture of the other pictures behind the boombox, which is not really what I would expect - I would expect the cat / plants / trees / butterflies to do good, and only some of my predictions were correct.

This is such a cool idea! I really enjoyed it. The art was nice with a cohesive style. I appreciated that the directions for the controls were clear, but it was hard to figure out what made a good photo (I was thinking the rule of 2/3 applied but couldn't tell in the scoring?) though I think having to try and figure out what worked best added to the replay-ability of the game. The game over screen was also hilarious in my opinion. Excellent work over all!
