I love the look of the sun, especially the glow! I'm impressed you got so much into the world in the time. Great job! Congrats on your first LD too :)

**First of all:** To me it was pretty difficult to get the hang of the controls honestly. Took me awhile to realize it's the gravity pulling you and how to deal with it.
**Overall game impression:** A little on the hard side I'd say. It's definitely not easy fighting gravity and controlling the probe to push the light bulbs around. Very unique and interesting idea I think. Felt really cool and was really fun to play once I got the hang of it. Well made. The gravity pull must've been really hard to program.
**Suggestions and comments on improvement:** Lower the gravity pull so you don't stick to objects as much maybe? Other than that not really. Pretty cool overall!
p.s. check out my game as well please.
I bounced off the sun... hmmmm :( even zoomed out, it wasn't clear where I needed to go.
Tiny feedbacks:
1: The ship is really dark for me, it's hard to know what direction I'm facing unless I thrust.
2: I wish zoom out zoomed out a bit more - I felt a bit directionless overall.
I found this game challenging and difficult to get the hang of. I like the idea presented and I enjoyed the audio and graphics. Congratulations on your first Ludum Dare!
I like the visual aesthetics of this. The controls were a bit touchy, so I had a difficult time moving around at first. Overall, nice work!
I love the graphics and controlling the ship. Really impressive!
Well that is certainly an interestring game you made here! The controls are a bit hard to master, but it's overall well done. Congrats, especially if it's your first game!
Now I think your game could have used a bit more info on where to go, or how to properly control the ship, as well as a better audio. I know it's space, but I think the game sounds too empty. Otherwise, the game is quite fun and quite pretty, and the idea is really good.
Thanks for all the nice feedback, great community! I was so afraid of posting this game  I'm sorry its really difficult, especially since I haven't have time/knowledge how to do a menu interface for instructions. Thats why I disabled the gravity from the Sun and let some % of thrust be available even without Wifi, before it was really hardcore  (also the "scanner" (spacebar) was supposed to cost alot of charge!)
Good Job ! I was a bit lost at the beginning but i found my way pretty quick. The physic is very fun to play with and it's a lot of good ideas. I like your game !
The game is really hard for me. At first I thought I can use my thrust to move the blue sphere, and then I realized it was me moving :P. Great work though.
I really like the physics and difficulty. Nice game! Any advice on how you learned to do the gravity?
@Johnnyc1423 I just Googled it. But the GravityWell is a sphere collider, with an onTriggerStay. ``` void OnTriggerStay(Collider other) { if (other.gameObject.name == "Player") { float distance = Vector3.Distance(other.attachedRigidbody.position, transform.position); //Get distance float gravityPull = (gravityForce / (4 * Mathf.PI * distance)); //change pull according to distance var heading = other.attachedRigidbody.position - transform.position; //get direction other.attachedRigidbody.AddForce(-heading * gravityPull); //pull with direction } } ```
Nice, but hard to play.
Nice concept, sort of reminded me of old gravity based games like lunar lander. The game was pretty hard, I didn't manage to beat it. Would be cool if the planets casted some kind of shadows or something, so the player could tell when they're about to enter an area with no sunlight even when they're further away from the sun and the inner planets.
It was a bit difficult to control the ship, when zoomed out you cant see the bottom and the tip of it, this makes it extra difficult :D But really good space physics!
I'm guessing you must be a Kerbal fan? I really like the game concept and and graphics are nice. The only obstacle to enjoyment is the zoom level seems off. The game looks nice when zoomed in, but it so close it's almost unplayable, and zoomed out is very import - I wish I could zoom out even more to plan my route. I really hope you continue this game though, because I love the concept! (I've done a couple games with planets and physics too, and it's so much fun to toy around with.)
Good looking game, and my KSP experience definitely came in handy.
@deathray I may have some experienced with stranded astronauts and lost probes
I do love games where you fly around space with thrusters. I liked the visual presentation of this and the dual complexity of maintaining solar charging and also wifi contact. I found it very hard to control the ship precisely, and I was frustrated that I couldn't zoom out far enough to see the goals, so I was flying blind a lot of the time. That kills the game for me, not knowing where I am supposed to go. Adding directional indicators for the targets (like you have for the sun) would fix this right up. I really liked the art style and the environment. Very nice work with this.
