Maybe if not for the 'recycle' function this game would be better - player would know that there IS correct solution using available pieces. I had some minor troubles with picking tile I wanted and placing it where I wanted.

This is a very original game and I had quite a good time playing it, although I didn't succeed.
Very innovative game, I like puzzles, I was not able to succeeded though. I wonder if it is possible to rotate tiles? I'm not sure what the meters in the bottom left mean, I understand there's one for each color and it's base on the quantity, but I don't understand their use... I think if you added more puzzles this would make an excellent android game!
Really fun game. I spent way too long trying to get everything to fit!
This was fun! I tried and couldn't finish it, but I really liked the idea and execution. Everything was well-done and polished! Great job!
Nice game, I like the style. It took a while, but I managed to fit everything. I feel like there is a really nice concept here (I love tetris), but the execution is a bit flawed. The effect of the recycling is that you just spend a lot of time resetting every tile until it fits nicely. Also I never paid attention or had any trouble with the demands. Maybe it would be better if all tiles would fit from the start.
Still, its a nicely polished game with a simple but slick art style that is fun to play, so congrats!
I didn't get it at first. I thought they were pipes that needed to be connected for some reason. But after it kept telling me I lost, I figured out I was just trying to fit all the pieces onto the board. I got it down to 2 pieces with around 8 spaces left and I couldn't get any further than that. Oh well. I had fun trying though. The colors add an interesting level of complexity to the puzzle solving. My only complaint is that the recycle feature kept giving me the same piece over and over again. It got tedious feeding it the same piece repeatedly until I got something different. Other than that, great job!
An interesting idea, and the game is easy to understand how you are suppose to play. But to me the game was much too difficult. I would really like to play a more simplified version of this game. And some music would could also be a great addition to the game.
I had a good time playing this game ^^ Its so fun!
Sick puzzle dude! This is the best I could do: https://i.imgur.com/3N0a4zH.png. I like the idea and feel like it fit the theme well, but my two biggest points of feedback is rotation would be nice, and the 'balancing' of colours never really felt like an obstacle, more an inconvenience. Maybe there could be certain rules instead, like 'no yellow can touch a green' or something. Reminded me of a puzzle game called blokus that my family owns :D Search it up on google images. :+1:
An interesting puzzle game. It's fairly easy with the recycle function though.
A great concept for a puzzle game, but I got a bit frustrated at the recycle system when it would give me the correct shape in the wrong orientation or colour that I wanted. I think it was still pretty fun though and enjoyed the challenge.
I had a lot of fun with this! It's extremely satisfying to try to fit all pieces in while trying to balance colors. I might tune the need to balance colors to be more aggressive, meaning just one or two extra pieces of a color will drastically tip the scales. I'd love to play a polished version of this game!
Nice, simple yet challenging puzzle. There is some weird behavior with picking up tiles that appear behind others, but overall, it's very nicely executed. I wasn't able to finish it, mainly because I lost patience. I think some easier levels with a smaller board in the beginning would be nice. The theme relation is kind of forced, but I don't really mind that if the game concept works, and it definitely does. Nice work!
I definitely like the graphical design. It's all very crisp and easy to read. However there are a few small things I'd comment on. Namely, the unclear theme and goal. It seems as though the game wants you to just fill in the board. Initially I was excited about the idea of having to put certain colored tiles around others, but quickly found that there was little point to balancing the bottom bars, or thought to my placements beyond if they fit or not. I also had a few problems with clicking and dropping, sometimes it would grab the wrong piece, and other times dropping it on the recycle button wouldn't work. Interesting idea though, I hope you continue to tinker with it, because tetris meets sim city is a cool idea!
If you'd like, I'd appreciate you taking a look at the game my team made for the jam, you can find it on my profile page
Nice entry - it's simple but everything works, and there is a win and lose condition, which is more than I can say for some of my earlier entries :)
I feel like the mechanic is a cool idea, but needs to be tweaked a bit before this can be really fun as opposed to just interesting. As it is, the requirements don't really affect gameplay, they could be made a lot stricter. The option to recycle pieces means you can be mentally lazy, and just keep recycling until you get something that fits, as opposed to carefully strategising your placement.
Maybe a smaller map, with fewer, simpler pieces that are pre-selected to fit together nicely. Also, stricter win/lose conditions would make this more interesting.
Also came across the recycle weirdness - I think it returns the same piece if you drop near the edges of the drop box.. Some sounds would've been nice!
Interesting puzzle game, nice game, good entry, great job !
Nice game, feels quite polished too. I'm pretty bad at it however... As some others have mentioned, I felt that the colour balancing could be more aggressive, as it currently feels a bit like an afterthought. Overall excellent entry :)
I had a game like this as a child, with loads of plastic tetris-like pieces which had to be fitted together into a square. In some ways the recycler makes the game easier, because we can build from the bottom using the recycler repeatedly, to get pieces the right shape to fit. In reality, this is tedious work because the recycler rarely generates the right shaped piece :) So the game has be doing as much recycling as I can tolerate, which isn't actually fun. So overall i think the recycler is a mistake - it would be more challenging to generate a set of fitting pieces, and let the user try to reassemble them. tl;dr - There's a good game in there, but I feel the recycler spoils it.
It's quite difficult but also interesting! good job
