At first I thought I played as an egg and commanded my egg-buddies to roll around randomly, which was pretty funny.
It's a pretty neat idea, but it's definitely a bit confusing at first. I played multiple times and lost pretty quickly each time, but then I got it.
I think the game needed more of an 'objective' to be fun for more than a couple minutes, but I like it anyway. Good work.
Game has potential, but I was a bit confused as to what to do. Perhaps a introduction level that walks you through game play? I did like the concept.
Interesting idea, but I think the goal of the game isn't clear enough. Also, being able to quit during a game (by pressing escape or another key) would be a good thing. I didn't understand how to collect pathogen, but I see some of the antibodies with green or purple circle, so I suppose I did it.
I've always wanted to make a game where you play as a strategic red blood cell fighting off infections. I'm glad to see that the concept is not only functional but also really fun! I love the system you have for commanding your cells and the way you can create your own immune system with the different colours against different viruses.

After the third try I finally understood what was going on and where the healthbar is. Maybe add some explanation.
For anyone who sees that comment: In the bottom left corner you see when sth. is ready, in the right corner you see when you have a sample, the health bar is indicated on the right. Planting the yellow thingies let's all your bloodcells go there and you can create new once. With getting the samples you can destroy the two big green and the one big purple blop (not sure on this last point, but I destroyed a blop this way).
Now more for the game: The difficulty level is a little too high I think, maybe you should change the downtime for new white cells or sth. Otherwise I really like the idea a lot! The graphics are nicely fitting. It is a shame you did not have the time to add some sound. Please go on and make great games

Congrats on your first LD! I have to say, my favorite part about the game was the way the cells moved around. There was something really soothing about it. I think it's a combination of the shape, smooth color, and lopsided roll.
I feel like the main thing that needed to be improved on is feedback for the user. I'll give you a few examples of things I had difficulty understanding: what was friendly and what was not, what the spawns were, that I could change the color of the spawns, and which cell colors were better against which other colors. Also, by the time I started the game, I forgot all the instructions (I also don't remember any of my biology lessons from my school days so that didn't help!). I had to go back and reread them after trying a couple times to understand how to play.

Really enjoyed the movement of the character! Was a bit confusing at first, but once I got rollin it was fine! Solid entry, nice work!

Nice movement and take on the theme, can see you put effort into this! Hopefully see you at the next LDJAM, always interesting to see how people improve :)

It's an interesting idea. However I had problems understanding what the goal of the game was. It took me a long while to get what I could do to win. The ability to drop reinforcements didn't feel that game changing, especially for the long cooldown, and the point click rally felt a little weird. Hope you keep working to improve!

Very interesting game! Took some time to find a way to avoid defeat. Didn't realized there's health bar until I read the comments, though
I missed the health bar at first too - which made me die multiple times.
Personally I didn't like the movement and somewhat missed the tutorial, but overall the game was quite fun to play. Congratulations on making it!
This is neat concept. It would be fun to play with an ipad or something using the accelerometer/ touch screen. I like the sense of momentum. With some sounds and a few more indicators I think smashing the pathogens could be even more satisfying. This is really unique. I like the bio theme. Good show!

It was a little tricky to figure out what is what in the cell, but once I got the hang of it, it was a lot of fun. Some satisfying sound effects and a score counter could improve it even more.
It's cool where you're going with this, but I had a really difficult time playing. I even got surrounded by my own white blood cells and couldn't move!

There's a nice balance between maneuvering your minions around versus not getting penned in by them all and unable to move. I definitely think there's scope for a much bigger strategy game here.
Is there a game ending at the moment, by the way? I killed all the pathogens and then just spent time rolling around to see if I'd missed any. Is there a Game Over screen?

Cool game, I liked the (imo) unique mechanic of having helpers that you can use, while also being a leader of them that can die. I liked the simple graphics, there wasn't anything amazing about them either, but their minimal style worked. The egg shape of them was nice too, even if it didn't greatly effect gameplay. With a little bit more direction (and perhaps explanation in game) I think it could get even better :)
Took a while to found text in left bottom about reinforcements and that it has cooldown. Anyway, good controls and idea of minions moving after you.
Congratulations on your first Ludum Dare entry! I feel that the game has potential, and the idea was pretty interesting.
Clearer instructions would have been nice as it took a while for me to figure out exactly what to do. There was also the issue getting penned in by the other white blood cells, which resulted in me not being able to move (I don't know if this was intentional, just assuming that it wasn't).
I did quite enjoy the whole colour based system of the white blood cells being better fighters against certain types of pathogens, although that could have probably been clearer in the gameplay.
Overall a good idea that has a lot of potential should you wish to keep working on it. Good job!
GG, really nice game for a first Ludum ! I liked the concept
Wonderfully done, and perfect use of the theme!
cool concept. With pleasure, commanded the eggs, but was not able to understand how to win. Really miss GUI
