So these are two birds in one stone. The first part is pretty easy and it puts emphasis on constant dying, while the second part is confusing (even after reading the description). Could use some work. Works on Wine.

I get what you were trying to do but I don't think it worked out well.
This would be a nice minigame compilation with few different levels like the first one - platformer and the second one - shooter. Could do like 2 more levels with different mechanics and it would be awesome.
Keep jamming!

The shooter wasn't that great, but I really enjoyed the plateforme once I figured out how you could recharge your jump (1 bloc = 1 jump)... Not sure if this is intentional, but your game could be more fair if you make this clear.
It was fun overall.
yeah i didn't have time to figure out a way of making the shooter part more obvious unfortunately, but yeah my idea failed slightly.
@Onyon - that was what i wanted to do but i couldnt think of another "level" so to speak. thanks for playing though.
@gdcvdgpl thanks for playing, i will add more information about the jumping above.
Thank you for trying out my game either way. at this stage i was just happy to have something to take part with XD
I really don't like it when games force you to spam a key as fast as you can. It hurts my keyboard :(
But on the positive side, I love the idea of making the first level look like a title screen!

Clever use of the theme!
Now THIS is a literal use of the theme.

Pretty cool but buggy as hell. For example you can collect the 5th yellow block on the first level and this will just skip all of the previous ones. I can see that you have great ideas for gameplay, but you need to improve work on the technical side of your games. Good luck.
The first part was nice but the second one with the spinning triangles was kinda hard. Nice entry tho!

Interesting, the second part was significantly harder than the first, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. The art style was cool. Good job!
I enjoyed the platformer portion, how the character is jumping around the title screen letters. I thought that was literally innovative.

Great idea on the first level's design! It's a fun game overall, but you could try adding some background music.

First area was nice, using the text as the level. Second area was too hard for me :)
It was smart of you to let the player just respawn when they die or fall off the letters. Keeps people going and doesn't give them an excuse to stop. I'm really confused by the second level, are the enemies invisible? It was a little tough to get my head around. Regardless, good show, keep on makin' cool stuff!
@Madjackmcmad Thanks for trying it out, Yeah the enemies were basically invisible & static, (top right, top center and top left of the room), they are coded to shoot triangle from anywhere between there supposed existence. I really should have thought of a better way to indicate where to aim. ran out of time putting it off till the interesting idea came, which is all good unless of course the interesting idea doesn't come. haha

Only played the platformer part. The player disappeared moving down the R letter, i think it's a bug. Good work, keep polishing it.

I like the idea!
Really very neat game. Well done!
The ability to have another jump while touching a block was a little strange, I really like the idea of making levels out of a logo though. Guess you and that walkie talkie game were on the same page.
@tjmolinski Walkie talkie game? I need to see this now haha, Thanks for playing
Hey, your game is actual really fun to play.
I hope next time you have time to make an option to close your game (I needed to use alt+f4)!
But Overall not bad for a compo entry
And please go and try out my game!

The first part was pretty nice. I like the minimalist graphics. I didn't understand the second part even when reading the instructions, sorry.

Kind of two very different minigames in one entry. The first one is more relaxing but still interesting, and the second one was more fun but lacked a real objective (endless survival is ok but it would benefit from at least a scoring system).
Good effort nonetheless!
