very interesting costume repair, good idea

dynamic-panic-studios 2016-12-14 03:08

Interesting game. Once I got the robot up and running the rest was simple. I got to the bank on the first try. My only issue was I didn't get how it fit into the theme. Other than that it was great!

A very fun game, good job dude.

afinkyu_pheaky 2016-12-14 04:29

I like how the rockets can hurt the enimies on the ground, that was a nice touch. Pretty cool, first entry I've played that breaks into the mecha genre.

mrevilguy 2016-12-14 04:34

I had the most fun trying to repair the robot at the beginning before I figured out what to do. Then it was super easy. But then the ending was really hard again if you break down during the onslaught! fun game!

@Dynamic Panic Studios that's understandable, the idea going in was having one room that you take along with you, but the implementation doesn't reflect that very much.

aflatminerstudios 2016-12-14 04:41

Loved the dual gameplay!

giardi 2016-12-14 04:51

Creative and fun. A good game.

madjackmcmad 2016-12-14 16:12

Neat idea! It's fun to line up long shots against two or three enemies at a time and tag them with the laser. Solid work this weekend.

firellon 2016-12-14 16:37

Good idea!

korvexx 2016-12-15 06:58

Cool entry. Was a little confused as to what I needed to do at the beginning, but once I figured it out I had fun. Art work looks nice! Random question: What do you think of Game Maker Studio 2? I'm still with GM:S 1 haha

jerwil 2016-12-15 07:18

A very cool game! It seems impossibly hard at first, but I got the hang of it and eventually made it to the bank. The game has cool little details, like how destroying just the plane would cause the bombs to fall on the cars, and how throwing items at enemies kills them. The sound effects are a bit grating, but it definitely sounded like a laser. Good work!

lekiy 2016-12-15 15:25

@Andrew Deem It's definitely an improvement, however I don't really understand the whole workspace thingy, and it gets in the way more then it doesn't. But the new room editor and tabbed events makes it worth having.

@jerwil Yeah difficulty curves and basic explanation of the game are things I need to work on.

bigbuggames 2016-12-15 18:49

Interesting game, even if it is not really related to the theme.
"Building" the mecha was cool but a pointer to see where you are aiming would be a nice addition!

Good job!

blaster391 2016-12-15 19:21

Interesting concept, maybe I missed something, but I found it very difficult, and couldn't really progress before my mech broke down and I had to jump out to fix it again

djfariel 2016-12-15 23:08

I do like the idea of repairing the mech.

The theme wasn't really present.

josho 2016-12-16 00:41

Fun game! Good job!

yvanor 2016-12-16 19:05

Nice little game, it lacks a little bit of content, but the repair mechanics and the fact that we can shoot planes so the rockets fall on the enemy on the ground add some strategy. Good job !

angelbait 2016-12-16 23:29

More engaging than Titanfall 2's player/mech interaction! I made it to the bank and really enjoyed the repairing mechanic. Thanks for your game!

leondryaso 2016-12-17 13:35

Nice graphics and gameplay mechanics

parias001 2016-12-17 19:33

Quite nice game! I really enjoyed it!

turkey2349 2016-12-17 19:40

Game doesn't quite fit the theme and the goal of the game is very present. Fun game though other wise and I like the repair mechanic. Only thing that was confusing was figuring out what happened when my mech broke down the first time because it hid my player model.

fufi 2016-12-19 22:32

Didnt find how it fit the theme, but good game overall. I prefer the gameplay without the suit ^^

romandtom 2016-12-24 10:09

ok it was too dam dificult,
oh and you didn't limit the player's position, I was able to go way beyond the screen (left)
but it's a cool idea!
