Looks cool, I wish there was a Windows version !
Argh, I thought I had fixed the link and apparently I deleted it. Shall fix!
Yeah I with it was Win compatible, I cant rate as I dont have a mac and dont run linux.
Windows link has been fixed, forgot to add the http:// to the url so it didn't appear.
Awesome art, and the database narrowing things down is actually pretty neat. Good job!
Pretty cool game. Unique art and style, and I liked the "where in the world is carmen sandiego?" feel lol. Great work!
Well done, though you can't actually run out of fuel (I was at -30% by the end).
Great artwork, by the way.
Got a little frustrated getting the same data multiple times even after a successful chase, but I enjoyed the solar system trivia!
@Halleflux I must have accidentally broke the out of fuel ending when I was tweaking the two main endings.
Found the criminal! Really well executed and a refresh of astronomy indeed! :P
Great game. I love the whole tininess thing, I just with that the one screen could be a little...larger. A lot of fun, not challenging but satisfying. Great job.
reminds me a lot of carmen sandiego, managed to apprehend the suspect.
Fantastic job! That was quite fun. You should consider making this a mobile game or something, because I could see certain people spending a lot of time playing something like this (especially if it was more challenging). I loved the subtle space trivia as well - overall, sweet game!
Yaaaay I did it. Fun way to learn some planetary trivia. Good "it is a mystery" music. I enjoyed the feel of narrowing down the potential suspects. I don't think this fits the theme at all, though. Not that I blame you, this was a terrible theme.
My nod to the theme was that everything occurred IG-BOT CAM computer screen, and you're using that screen to get into contact with the the agents, IG-BOT, and access the criminal database.
I figured whoever the Space Inquisitor was, they spent most of their time in an office on a giant Imperial Spaceships, checking in with all the lackeys who were doing the actual investigation.
Made me re-live my Carmen Sandiego days :) art was great!
Great! Reminds me of the old Carmen Sandiego game I played in school. I also enjoyed having to google info to know where to go, I learned a bit while playing :) Wonderful entry.
Cool stuff! Nice art, and I liked the educational aspects of it, quite refreshing.
Refreshing change from the usual LD entry. Loved the graphics and the use of Otomata.
Pretty solid! I was surprised by the Google involvement :) It's like one of those old educational games - I played Eagle Eye Mysteries (and In EEM London), aw really loved them :)
Didn't find much in terms of design fault, other than the fact I don't know for how long you could keep a modern person for with this kind of mechanic :)
But that's for a longer term game of course! No problem now! :)
Love the graphics! I Included it in part 4 of my Ludum Dare 31 compilation video series, if you would like to check it out :) http://youtu.be/Kdfz6b6_ebE
Fun and very polished!
Love you graphics style. Fun to play. Well done!
Hehe, my entry was initially meant to be something like "Where on the Screen is Carmen Sandiego" -- it looks like you got a lot more of the investigative stuff than I did!
Lovely graphics, smooth interface... and I like the sinister undercurrent that had me asking "...wait, are *we* the bad guys?"
I didn't get the connection to the theme until I read your description in the comments. Perhaps a couple of in-game word changes ("My fuel levels", "IG-BOT is travelling to...") might have helped make the connection.
Fun game anyway, good job!
Very cool art and great in general!Thank you :)
Pretty short but still very polished. I liked the whole deduction gameplay plus I get to learn stuff about planets at the same time :D.
first - thanks for making the python game easy to play - usually it is a nightmare - great graphics and music - nice mechanics - adding to play again list
It's reminding me of the old board game Cluedo, mixed with wikipedia element :)
