Hm, there doesn't seem to be a download link here.
No link?
Yep no link. Make sure you put the http:// before the link (That seemed to fix it for my friend)
This looks amazing, but no play link! Please edit so we can give it a go, I'll bookmark you for tomorrow <3
Sorry! I think I have the link fixed now! I'll keep that in mind next time I enter a Ludum Dare!
The text didn't print instantly — which is a pet peeve of mine because I am a fast reader — and there were some errors like effect/affect, and I think I saw the wrong your/you're. There was a lot of text, and when you died you had to sit through all of it again and mash Enter to make it go faster.
Wow, the art here really is something - I was actually taken aback when the game began, nice work! When deploying my second bomb, though, I got this error in a console:

Thought I'd let you know. Good entry!
Nice game, nice graphics. Unfortunatly a bit annoying to play on QWERTZ keyboards.
@Desi Quintans: Thank you so much for the feedback! I'll be sure to keep that in mind for future projects. Thank you for pointing out the typos as well! I will correct them for a more polished version of the game.
@jonnopon3000: Thank you for the feedback! I'm mostly an artist and I had a lot of trouble managing the project. I'm used to simply drawing on commission... This is the first time I've put a playable game together this quickly! Thank you for pointing out the bug. I'll be sure to correct that when I start working on this again!
@Kumquat: Thank you! Ah! I'll make sure to include several different control schemes in the future. My grandfather had trouble on his Japanese keyboard when transferring the controls also.
Great looking little game :)
Gah! Hardcore! I love it!
@Wampus, @imef: Thanks!
Excellent graphics! I found the plot amusing. It's missing a way to skip all the story and go straight to the game. It's annoying to go through it all just to get to play the second time. Btw, minor nitpick, but I'd change the initial message from "Click to start" to "Enter to start", since clicking doesn't work from then on.
Lack of sound was a bit disappointing. I also got a crash when deploying bombs.
The art is beautiful, for sure. The gameplay is a little limited - you aren't even required to aim, just dodge stuff until that's impossible, and then hit bomb. There was a ton of text to get through - interesting, but more like reading a graphic novel than playing a game. Really great art, though, and the controls were solid. I did get one crash error that seemed like a variable out of bounds when I used a bomb the first time I played - not the second. But overall, nice job - just needs some more gameplay.
Some nice bullet patterns, here! I can tell you worked hard on the art. There was a bit too much exposition for me, and I'll echo other feedback about switching the "click" to "enter", but I enjoyed dodging. I would have liked a straight-ahead shot that did more damage and fired at the same time as the targeted shot, but 48hrs is very short, I know.
The bomb crashed the game for me, so I wasn't able to finish the level.
The intro was a little long, and the game bugged out after using the second bomb. I don't see why you have to hold down the shoot button to fire. Is there any game mechanic where it benefits the player not to shoot?
I became a fish
Intro was way too long, and not skippable.
Evolution factored into the storyline but not the game mechanics.
The bullet hell was quite easy to survive.
Thank you so much for the feedback! It means a lot and I know how I can improve on my other games!
I'll make sure to include an option to skip straight to the game when I remake the title. Multiple difficulties is something very important and I'm glad the difficulty was pointed out. I was planning to have three levels but had to cut it short after I only had two hours left and the other two were very buggy. Hopefully I will have the time to remake this soon so I can apply your advice and make it better!
Just wanted to let you know that this game works fine on linux using wine.
Also, i liked the game, but I would have played longer if I could skip the long intro. Mashing the enter button just to get into the game is very annoying.
@olav_st: Thanks for the feedback! I created this version in Gamemaker but I'm redoing it using Pygame at the moment. It's nice to know that the .exe does work on other systems, though.
i like the attempt at a touhou-like style/ui, the game itself though had some issues, i couldn't quite tell what my hitbox really was, i assumed the center + but you get hit well outside of that, so it seemed smaller than the flower but bigger than the center. Bombs seem to cause the game to crash 100% of the time, so can't really use them. The actual bullet patterns are pretty easy once you realize your hitbox is significantly larger than it looks.
Works well on WINE under linux but no sound, don't know if there was supposed to be any.
I didn't like the unskippable intro, especially since it was so easy to die...
The story didn't make a whole lot of sense to me either, but you did a good job with art and enemy patterns.
I experienced the bomb bug as well.
Definitely would have benefited from some sound.
Bullet hell entry!! Love it!
